    Been playing this game for 4 years now, and I haven't found a game to be as addicting as this one. Great game all around. And with all the numerous mods for counter-strike, theres something in it for everyone.

    I have been playing this game for the past year EVERYDAY! Its the BEST game in the WORLD! I tried CS Source to see what everyone was talking about....TRASH, I deleted the game and went back to this! I LOVE THIS GAME! One of the BEST computer game's in the WORLD!

    if you can honestly right down a score lower then 10 i recommend you play the game a little more. consider this the game was made in 1999 and is still played everyday by thousands of gamers though the graphics arnt as nice as they were in 1999 the game play is the same game that we all played back in the day. no game can compare to counter-strike and wont for a while.

    I've been playing CS for 6 years and yes, CS 1.6 is still better than Source in my opinion. The gameplay is still fantastic and the community is just growing larger and larger.

    Yeah... Counter-Strike is dah best... obviously... when it gets repeditive you can always swtich to mod servers, like Wc3, or Repspawn, or Funmaps.

    Simply the best multiplayer game ever made. It's not up-to-date in terms of sound and graphics, but is playability is top-notch. Nothing comes close, not even CS:Source. This game runs in almost any hardware and everyone is able to enjoy it. Fantastic game. Period.

    AAHHHH!!!! I cant believe Game Revolution said it was the 'rosemarys baby' of video games...if i didn't see their 100 point score i would have thought they gave it a 0 or 10 or something...

    Have never seen more suckier game than this. The only reason people are playing this is that it's easy to learn and even the nerds with an IQ of a fly could learn to play it. So all the gamers out there who don't have the brain for a bit more challenging game, go and give CS a try.

    Whatever it cost you, buy it if you have Internet, and sometimes you are bored. It is the best game of all times. I don`t know anybody who doesn`t like it. The way the game is played is very impressive. Everything is so detailed and realistic. I played hundreds of games, read thousands of reviews, but I truly believe this is a game that everyone should discover. It`s worth it, trust me.     This game is just a blast to play. The fact that you must buy your weapons actually influences the gameplay somewhat, and you won't always find yourself picking the most expensive one you can get. Great maps (with a few exceptions) and awesome communication options (YES! voice chat!) round out a stellar package. My only complaint is that the ping can sometimes get really bad on 56k This game is just a blast to play.     Realism is what I've always wanted in a shooter. Death match games where you respawn every 5 minutes seem to have been done to death. But, realistic scenarios involving terrorists and anti-terrorists, realistic weapons, and great maps combine to create the best combat I've ever experienced in gaming land. And the best part??...     Good weaponry, good maps, bad gameplay. People way to often cheat, not to mention those jerks that Flashbang their entire team at the game start... and Sierra doesn't seem to give a sh*t about the cheating...in fact, the lastest patch actually made it EASIER for people to cheat.

    Amazing new game. One of the best "Half-Life" games out there! So gritty and realistic you'd think it was real.
