    I play it quite alot, it is a remarkable game, but the Anti-cheat engine is absaloutly discusting. Thats why id have to rate it quite low ;).

    I don't understand why Counter-strike is so popular. I loved every Valve game to date, except counter-strike. I played Team fortress classic when Counter-strike was so popular. Recently I decided to buy it from steam. I found it bland, boring and repetative. Always the same: plant the bomb shoot the counter-terrorists, win/lose. I'm a tolerant man but I can't stand I don't understand why Counter-strike is so popular. I loved every Valve game to date, except counter-strike.     Have never seen more suckier game than this. The only reason people are playing this is that it's easy to learn and even the nerds with an IQ of a fly could learn to play it. So all the gamers out there who don't have the brain for a bit more challenging game, go and give CS a try.

    This game started out amazing, but over the years you come to realise that its just too repetitive! Same thing over and over, with added cheaters. I would suggest playing some Team Fortress Classic.

In this game you can not only headshot someone without aiming with AWP, you can also shoot trough 99% of the walls. So if you want to win, just shoot against all walls.     I first played Counter-Strike back in 1999, when it was still just a mod. I went to it on a daily basis, for several hours, as my main source of entertainment and gathering of friends until about 2002, when other activities came along. I only went back to it now, in 2012. This unveiled the greatest disappointment and proof of destruction of a game I have ever experienced. As it is today,I first played Counter-Strike back in 1999, when it was still just a mod. This unveiled the greatest disappointment and proof of destruction of a game I have ever experienced. As it is today, this is not Counter-Strike. It is a broken, unrecognizable, nearly useless form of the original game. Valve has let this game rot to death and still make an easy profit for nothing. The server browser is a joke. It is simply broken. The results it returns are completely inaccurate and all servers you will find are run by non-Steam users, with the game settings altered to who knows what, and 90% of them playing the Dust map. The other servers are running non-official maps and pointless game modes. In addition, you can not set your client to disallow the automatic download of custom server sounds or other trash that is force-fed through your connection to alter the game. Counter-Strike has been so blatantly abandoned, that it is shocking Valve still charges something for it. You will also see advertisements while you are connecting to the servers, and while you wait for the next round once you have been killed. Counter-Strike is the epitome of falling from grace and becoming an outright failure. It has become an embarrassment and a gaming tragedy.… Expand

    Interesting game that trys at a recreating modern realistic SWAT team like gun action. While remaining some degree of realism to the average player, a real look at the mechanics of the game reveals many unrealistic points which can be exploited by better players.     WORST GAME EVER! I've been around mroe than the block for gaming and this game seriously is the worst I've played. Firstly, why the hell would you want to simulate real life?! This is actually THE least imaginitve game in history as far as i can tell. The makers must've just looked at the world and said "Ha, hey guys! Check out how much reality sucks! Let us inflict this WORST GAME EVER! I've been around mroe than the block for gaming and this game seriously is the worst I've played. Firstly, why the hell would you want to simulate real life?! This is actually THE least imaginitve game in history as far as i can tell. The makers must've just looked at the world and said "Ha, hey guys! Check out how much reality sucks! Because my account has gotten hacked 3 times and i havent had any viruses on my computer and i nver gave away my steam account. I have messaged steam numerous times asking to have my account back and they have yet to recieve a email to atleast help me to get it back. Other Best game i have ever played.I was addicted to this game.But i will now tell everyone i know to never buy thisgame.     This game was super somedays... But no every time i play it, i end after 15 minutes because its so boring now. All over and over agin. Its just waste of time playing it now. And the other thing is that this game plays so many kids under 16yr and servers are full of players like 10 year old screaming and doing some horrible things all over the map.

    This is the greatest game to ever bring people together on the net. The social aspect brings me back day after day. However, as an admin on our server, we are constantly banning cheaters. The level of cheating has risen to where it is very difficult to detect at first, but with constant specing, wallers and togglers can be deetected. Puis, on se rend vite compte que ce mod ne reste qu'un mod qui croule sous les bugs et les à-peu-près et dont les résultats s'avèrent incroyablement aléatoires... en termes de frag ou de non-frag.

    C'est le problème quand    Un principe séduisant et une approche réaliste assez étonnante à son époque pour des parties en équipe qui semblent fort sympathiques au début, surtout entre amis... Puis, on se rend vite compte que ce mod ne reste qu'un mod qui croule sous les bugs et les à-peu-près et dont les résultats s'avèrent incroyablement aléatoires... en termes de frag ou de non-frag.

    C'est le problème quand des amateurs développent quelque chose ou tentent de développer quelque chose : ça reste au mieux du boulot d'amateur et au pire un merdier de crevard. Le Counter se situe selon les cas et les situations (et le nombre de bons numéros au Loto) entre les deux. Alors du coup, on campe un peu trop, les autres aussi, puis ça triche, ça exploite les multiples problèmes de ce qui n'est pas un jeu mais une tentative qu n'a jamais rien donné finalement... même après des patches, des pseudo-suites et j'en passe...

    Enfin, en matière de relations sociales, c'est un "jeu" plutôt à éviter : ça met les nerfs en pelote et on se fait chier en mode spectateur ; quand aux parties "en ligne", on ne trouve que des tricheurs... quand ce n'est pas tout simplement déserté. Définitivement.    … Expand

    I actually won't score this game that will result 0/10, but I would like to say something similar to my review I done for Diablo II.

    I will approach it from an awakened person's perspective: This is a butcher-like game. You play 2 minutes rounds where you basically have 2 minutes to kill all the opponents or fulfill the alibi-like mission objective which is irrelevant if hostage rescue    I actually won't score this game that will result 0/10, but I would like to say something similar to my review I done for Diablo II.

    This is a butcher-like game. You play 2 minutes rounds where you basically have 2 minutes to kill all the opponents or fulfill the alibi-like mission objective which is irrelevant if hostage rescue or demolition map, because the terrorists will obviously try to make you fail, therefore in the majority of cases even the "police" side will eventually kill everyone.

    I know it's a bit oversimplifying, but this is just a game where you have to set your mind to _kill_ over and over again in every possible way that you can imagine in your head.

    And making it not just available to kids (for example by making it free download!!), but also organizing championships where brands like Monster are main sponsors, you can have no doubt it's no Jesus who is supporting these events, but the opposite from "downstairs".

    I played approximately 4000 hours with all the Counter-Strike games, so I may have a clue what I am talking about. So please consider my words, when you are prior playing or purchasing a "game".

    And the most disgusting part of the whole is when people compliment each other like "nice (head)shot", "nice kill" and the eSport fans just yell and acclaim while watching others killing each other in full trance and euphoria. This is not game anymore, people just can't see it.    … Expand

    el juego es bueno, la temática es buena y es un juego re piola y divertido pero el problema con el juego son los errores, se que ningún juego es perfecto pero el problema con esto es la cantidad de petes que se aprovechan de los errores del juego para sacar ventaja de los demás en servidores públicos o en LAN, bugs como: bunny hop, strafe, y otros, y estoy cansado de todos los días entrarel juego es bueno, la temática es buena y es un juego re piola y divertido pero el problema con el juego son los errores, se que ningún juego es perfecto pero el problema con esto es la cantidad de petes que se aprovechan de los errores del juego para sacar ventaja de los demás en servidores públicos o en LAN, bugs como: bunny hop, strafe, y otros, y estoy cansado de todos los días entrar al juego y ver que las partidas son un caos porque siempre hay gente usando esas técnicas de las cuales se aprovechan son unos hijos de puta que les pegan al juego hasta mas no poder, flaco. ES UN JUEGO tanto la van a vivir pedazo de enfermos que no saben nada mejor que hacer mas que hacer esos bugs para tener ventaja en las partidas. vallan a ver el sol salgan de su casa o hagan algo que no sea vivir tanto en un juego del 2000 que es solamente terroristas VS anti-terroristas como la vas a vivir tanto por solo eso gordo enfermo. se que me desvié mucho con esta reseña, pero solo quería desahogarme y mostrar la inmensa cantidad de forros que hay en este juego tan maravilloso, en fin. adiós y gracias por leer… Expand
