    I have never played a game as good as Counter Strike and I never will (except maybe Counter Strike:Source). The Counter Strike series overall has been the best and will remain the best and most played game in the world.

    I've been playing this game for 5 years along with thousands, maybe even millions of other people. It's the only game where people make true friends in real life because of the Lan Tournaments. Greatest game to date.

    counter strike is a game that teaches you how to use your eyes to there full potential. You must be a fast thinker and good at stratigic thought. I have NEVER enjoyed a game as much as i do with cs.

    Effing awesome. It would be better if the servers werren't crawling with hackers. Maybe if it wasn't so hacker-friendly. Other than that. Amazing.

    i really like this game,, u can play it really well with a bad computer,, te only thing to worry about is that u didnt got liquid blood,, it are squars of blood.

    Wonderfull game, allthough I would rather give it 9.6 for it's lack of reality - and Also the incredibly foul design of the weapons, most rifles and pistols are wrongmade in the design!

    A brilliant game. Most enjoyable game around, 6 YEARS after its release. Beats the like of Battlefield 2, and other leading online games HANDS DOWN.

    one of my all time favorites. the grafics may be out of date, but its still fun to play it. are there any other games that have survived over the years? speaking of quake 2, serious sam? non of them has this attention world wide. and the best on that game...cheap and you dont need a high end pc as you will need for doom3, utk7 or other games these days. a perfect 10 for me.

    Best game ever, very addictive played since early 2000 thanks to some friends still hoooked onto it but not a 24/7 player :P but im pro :P kekek lah!!

    Thats the only game i play on my computer praactically :P becoz i dont have the time to play other games... so counterstrike has made my fun time whenever i had some free time from my commitmments :D

    This is without a doubt the best game ever! I drive a Big Rig in real life, and so I know what I'm saying when I say that Big Rigs Over the Road Racing is the most realistic truck game ever. It's realer than real it's so real! Buy as many copies of this game as you can, it's the most perfectly WINNER game ever!

    i have been a huge fan of this game ever since my friends dragged me to a lan center to play it about 3 years ago. ever since i have lived it. it is the best game i have ever played and i will continue to keep playing it for as long as its out.

    Timeless classic, #1 internet game because it speaks for itself. Sierra never had any idea how insane it would get. Warcraft3 mods ruin this game.

    CS 1.6 is an awesome game one can easily get addicted to. It is really easy to learn and once u get the hang of it ...... beleive me you will get hooked.

    CS 1.6 is the best online game forever. Easy to learn, hard to master and you will get addicted to it in no time. Additionally it is a lot of fun! Although it's not that new, it is the best game! I love it!!!

    best game ever, only the hitbox has some issues but I fancy the old "square" style graphics,where everything is crisp. I always hated the "quake 3" feel where everything is round and soft. Unfortunately the gaming industry is tending to rounder. Sniff.

    This is a very good game to use training. If you're good at this, you are good at other FPS-games. It's a very simple game that don't demand too much from your computer, like other games do. I LOVE Counter-Strike!

    CS is the best game I've ever played. Offcourse the graphic iis not that good, but the lifetime of the game, OMG you will never get tired of playing CS! The whole consept about playing against each other in teams and try to win, is used in every game and sport. CS is a sport. But offcourse, I suggest you got something other more active to do, if not, people will get fat and ugly! I CS is the best game I've ever played. Offcourse the graphic iis not that good, but the lifetime of the game, OMG you will never get tired of playing CS! But offcourse, I suggest you got something other more active to do, if not, people will get fat and ugly! I like to use skins in CS, thats another plus, (its simple to install skins btw!), you get known to other people, you are maybe good at playing CS insteed of football and last, CS is what every gamer looks for! The only bad thing is the graphic, its not that bad, but could be better. I suggest that valve and steam makes CS on a higher level at that point, but make it like those who don't have a PC that is capable to run high graphic, also can play CS at a lower grapich. After all, the graphic is'nt that important, its the gameplay! AND THE GAMEPLAY RULES!… Expand

    Great game, but due to earlyer times when hacks where everwhen in the game, its hard to be a very good player and not be banned from servers for pure skill but still going to be one of the main games to play for many more years... plus a few texture modifications over the time.

    ya i play cz and i wanted to say that u shouldbe able to hit people with ur gun in stead of pulling out your knife and that takes like 4 seconds and i think the hit box is off like when u shoot at a afk is so off u cant even hit in the head some times u should fix that please.

    This is the best game ever. It has everthing you want from an FPS and more the only lacking thing is graphics which you dont care about because its too fun. I have played this game nearly everyday for 5 years!

    Being ive played many of the up to date games (bf2, cod2, doom3, quake4) and own all of them, i like this game far more than any others. Cod2 is the runner up. This game is about playing a fun game, who gives a sh.t about graphics?

    Nice idea and teamplay. But the gameplay is very slow and sticky. The engine is much too old today and the graphics are very plain and simple. Especially this is a hard contrast to temporary new games.

    this is the only game i will ever play i think... i dont like source because of the hunchback like characters.... this game i go to lan centers while im on vacation just to play i guess its addicitve but i do enjoy this game the most and still after 3 years of playing i still learn new tricks every day!

    This is an excellent game that keeps you always on the right frame of mind. With excellent real-time scenerios and rivitng online expierience, this is the #1 game in my book and has been since 1.5!

    I started playing 1.6 at my cousins and became addicted, recently i moved onto source but came back to this amazing fps because the awesome feel counter strike delivers that all others dont.

    I've been playing Source and 1.6 for 3 years and they're both amazingly fun and addictive. Not nearly as many people cheat as some people make it out to be and with a wide array of balanced weaponry, even noobs can find something enjoyable in it.

    One of the best games out there till date. Ive been playing a variety of modern games now but still counterstrike fives me something all the other games dont have. fantastic teamplay, still nice graphics if u think about it being very old, the best gameplay out there!! Its just awsome the game!!!!

Since I found beta 6.2 kicking about on some ftp back in the year 2000 I reckon to this day I have played CS at least once a month in each month of the last 6 years. I have played this game more times than any other game. When you consider that this game is a free modification thats pretty damn good.     Counter Strike 1.6 is the best game i have ever played.
    I play my first time on a Atari and my opinion is there no beter then Counter Strike. The Gameplay makes realy fun but the only tho thinks i ever find not so good on this game is the graphic and the many cheaters in the game!!! thx to Siera !!!

    This is the best FPS of all time; ive had it for 3 years and played nearly every day since, still hasn't grown old, Counter Strike is a 'must have' game.

    This game is awesome because it takes reaction speed and accuracy to be good. Also in order to achieve skill it takes practice which is an object in games that make it so fun.

    This is a well mad game. For both advanced gamers and "noobies". I would say it is one of the best first person shooters out there, most games have to many glitches and hackers. Steam and valve have worked very good on kepping this game well made and running it well. Pwned

    I´m a brazilian player of this game, and in my opnion it´s awesome. Of course, like any other game, it has some issues to be corrected. One of the things I don´t like about the game is that it´s so easy to a player that never played before (Newbies) shoot headshots at anyone. The other thing is about Sniper (AWP) - It´s a lot unreal to use a sniper rifle I´m a brazilian player of this game, and in my opnion it´s awesome. Of course, like any other game, it has some issues to be corrected. One of the things I don´t like about the game is that it´s so easy to a player that never played before (Newbies) shoot headshots at anyone. The other thing is about Sniper (AWP) - It´s a lot unreal to use a sniper rifle jumping or running, and kill someone with one single shot. In my opnion, sniper could only be used at a stand by position, and don´t take all health points (HP) away (unless if it hits the head). (Sorry about strange writting, like I said, I´m brazilian).     Jogabilidade x Grafico O counter-strike é o unico q varios players em todo o mundo podem jogar por SKILL... Um computador médio pode roda-lo.. e essa é a graça. Os demais jogos funcionam da seguinte forma. O mais rico e o melhor pc q fazem o player jogar bem, e nao o skill.. COUNTER-STRIKE pra sempre

    EU jogo CS 1.5/1.6 a mais de 4 anos... já tive minha epoca de jogatina, mas eu parei muitas vezes, mas como sempre acabo voltando a jogar com vapor total. o jogo eh excelente , é obvio que no ano em q estamos (2006) a tecnologia é muito mais avança do q antigamente, entao naum podemos comparar jogos atuais com o querido cs. obrigado bom dia a todos
