Some things they absolutely nail, like the atmosphere. Others, like things for you to do, are less polished. I would probably really like either an adventure game or an rpg in this setting, as it is it's just fetch quests. But I think they really succeeded in what they set out to do. After a while I did wish maybe it didn't have a voxel art style

Pleasant, but not engaging dialogues with decent VO. Beautiful visuals. Poor gameplay. Relaxing experience enhanced with Vangelis-like music.

This is quite an inmmersive experience, specially when played in first person. In terms of gameplay it might not be for everyone but I really felt like I was in Navalis. Probably the only thing I don't like is how in order to get to some waypoints you have to go through tunels and elevators, it can be a bit confusing sometimes.
    Edit:
First half of the game was good but it's the last few

    - The story could be more engaging. When I played, it didn't feel I make a decision about people in the city or something like that. Partially, the problem is the empty city.
    - Could be more characters, more decisions, more upgrades, more locations to buy, etc. The game tries to be open world AND B-hunter (1999) at the same time. But fails to be both being rather a visual novel.

It was a good idea but its just too short and if its possible for a short game, repititive. Drive from point A to point B then park and walk to someone, deliver and rinse and repeat. There are a few missions within the main story that deviate from this but they don't bring much to the table.

After playing this for around an hour you'll feel like everything you are seeing is the same as

After playing this for around an hour you'll feel like everything you are seeing is the same as you park in another identical car park and walk an identical route with very little in the way of interaction.

The only side mission I could find in this game was one where you had to find 80 punch cards in increments of 20 then just give them to an android woman outside you apartment to hear a story.

One thing that is really going to annoy you in this game is bumping into oncoming flying vehicles because it will happen a lot at least in the first hour. Worst of all the whole game is completed in one day (game time). Just as you are ready to start Day 2 after your first sleep the game ends!

Nice idea just way too short and sorely lacking in any real interaction with the world or its inhabitants.

To highlight the best parts of this game, I should point out the amazing atmosphere and the few decisions you do get to make throughout the story. With the constant rain and being able to traverse the city of Nivalis, you really do get to feel immersed in the cyberpunk setting. And without spoiling too much, there are decisions you are forced to make in the game, which do make you question what is truly right and wrong in each circumstance.

However, this doesn't outweigh a lot of the flaws the game has. The inventory system is barebones, and you hardly make use of the things you carry. Car upgrades are useful, sure. Though given that you barely visit your apartment, the decorations are pointless. There are some items that seem like they have no point, but turn out to be essential later on, which feels like an awful design choice (Make sure to save the CorpSec Flyer!).

There's a lot of points in the game where the player isn't given the option to make a decision, likely because dialogue prompts do not exist. This means that in dialogue, you're at the mercy of whatever the protagonist thinks, which would normally be fine, but boy do I absolutely hate some of the things the protagonist says, because it seems like it's the one thing that could make the situation worse. At times, the protagonist even comes off as insufferable, though thankfully, the AI companion calls them out on it.

Exploring the city on foot is barebones, and navigating from parking spaces to a navpoint can be finnicky. I can't blame for most of the exploration of Nivalis being done via Hova, but I wish the on-foot exploration didn't feel like an afterthought.

All in all, I feel like you have to be a *massive* fan of the cyberpunk genre to enjoy this game. There just isn't much at all to do, other than revel in the atmosphere and voxel graphics. If that's your jam, more power to you. But for me, I can't think of much else to praise this game for.

This game looks great and is nice juxtaposition to other games out there at the moment. when jumping in for the first time, it felt very Cyberpunk 2077 meets Fifth Element meets Minecraft/Robolx.
You play an ex musician turned driver for a service called Cloudpunk who deliver packages for "anyone". Questionable or otherwise. Get call from control, pick up package at random location, take to drop off, job done. Rinse and Repeat. There is an over arching storyline, new characters with backgrounds. There is the ability to upgrade your "HOVA" (flying car) Apartment and even purchase items from street ventures and dealers.

This game is visually great and makes use of the blocky graphics to enhance draw distance and create an almost seamless environment which, when you suspend you belief a little, is very absorbing. The ability to scroll out and go from first person to third is great and your going to need to use it. Because where it falls down is in navigating this world. At times, easy no problem. finding a place to park and walking to an objective with a clunky map, frustrating. Especially when the game doesn't really give very many hints on getting to places such as using lifts or going up to random NPC to gain access to a building.

The story HAD promise and draw. Some characters are relatable and funny. There are also some points where you can make a moral choice which I didn't expect and loved!
I never finished the game so I won't (nor can I) spoil any plot points.
Voice acting is quite cringe at points and where the story lacks is polish and proof reading. It felt like it wanted to say something but in writing and not in acting, as the delivery was lacking.
There was one interaction with an NPC where they are portrayed as a douche bag. An equivalent to cryp-to bro "worked my way up" CEO but my daddy has money type. Who then used a term when describing a person of colour, that shouldn't be used anymore. I wasn't sure if this was to re-enforce his bad character or to be edgy? It just wasn't needed and I was taken back by it.

Overall Cloudpunk is a good game which has promise and is a great option if your into indie games and are looking for something different. Fun to play and lovely to look at. The environment is somewhere where you want to spend more time. But it needs polish in its execution of its story and even though the environment is great it can be hard to navigate.
Can be taken as indie charm or just plain frustration and for that reason I can only give it a 6. Not bad. Pick it up in a sale

As it stands, the game is too much of a flyover experience — beholden to the cyberpunk genre’s conceits and, as such, mired in an aesthetic rut.

With a inspired recreation with voxels of a futurist city, great ambiance and a interesting story, Cloudpunk is worth checking out.

When you don't have any other games left to play you can play Cloudpunk. With great style, the developers were not able to tell an interesting story. On the other hand, we have a great option for those who want to play something against the background of show or podcast. Which is basically not bad.
