Sep 12, 2020When you don't have any other games left to play you can play Cloudpunk. With great style, the developers were not able to tell an interesting story. On the other hand, we have a great option for those who want to play something against the background of show or podcast. Which is basically not bad.

Jun 4, 2020Like some of the narrative choices, it’s hard to know how to feel about Cloudpunk — and maybe that’s the point. It’s well-written and lovingly constructed, but it’s sometimes hard to appreciate as much as I’d like to thanks to the pacing issues. However, despite the problems, it’s definitely a journey worth taking — just go into it knowing that a little patience in some spots is required.

May 8, 2020Cloudpunk is a game with a single core strength so powerful it alone is sufficient to make it an easy game to recommend. Thanks to the rare beauty and rich atmosphere of its voxel-driven cityscape, Cloudpunk is a constant joy to explore. Whether soaring through the neon-plastered clouds or darting across vertiginous walkways dangling a hundred storeys in the air, the desire remains to keep pushing forward because the next view might be even better. And it usually is. It's not a straightforward case of style over substance, because in Rania and in much of the story there's no lack of substance, but it can feel that way when the style is so disproportionately stellar.
-
May 6, 2020Cloudpunk is an interesting narrative game taking place in a breathtaking futuristic city in which you zip with your flying car to make delivery, explore and advance the story. Gameplay is a bit lacking but the city graphic design makes it worth your time and money.
-
May 4, 2020Cloudpunk manages to create a great cyberpunk-y atmosphere, but is held back by some limitations. Gameplay-wise, it doesn’t have a lot to offer and the sequences in which you get out of your car are a bore. Play it for the well-told story to get the most out of it.
-
May 3, 2020Cloupunk is visually stunning and has a interesting cast, telling us some good stories. It has some issues, though, when it comes to interactions and exploration. But if you're into Cyberpunk genre, you will probably find exactly what you wanted.
-
May 28, 2020In the gameplay department, Cloudpunk simulates the boredom of a minimum wage job a little too well. Looking back, I’m happy to have played Cloudpunk, but I never want to sit through it again.
-
May 25, 2020Cloudpunk can be considered a good adventure game, but there is nothing special about it. There are a lot of missions to play but the game does not offer enough gameplay mechanisms and variations to keep the action going and as a result, the final package feels repetitive.
-
Apr 27, 2020Cloudpunk is certainly a game worth seeing, but beyond that, there's not much to back up its cyberpunk aesthetic. Flying around in your hover car is a joy, and the city is a consistently surprising visual treat, but whenever the game gets around to providing context to all of it, it stumbles. You largely get what it says on the box, but Cloudpunk would have benefited from more compelling gameplay and a more focused story. It's not that it's badly designed or horribly written, it just doesn't quite reach the clouds.
-
Apr 23, 2020An amazing looking game with an interesting premise, let down by shallow gameplay and stuttered flow of story and dialogue.
-
Jan 5, 2021As it stands, the game is too much of a flyover experience — beholden to the cyberpunk genre’s conceits and, as such, mired in an aesthetic rut.
-
LEVEL (Czech Republic)Jul 24, 2020Cloudpunk is like a neon tube. Very nice to look at, but if you look closer, it has nothing to offer and after some time it's a bit boring. [Issue#304]
-
May 20, 2020A beautiful vision of a busy cyberpunk city that doesn’t revolve around the main heroine but actually lives and breathes according to its own rules. It’s a shame that there are so many problems underneath the glorious facade - mainly a shallow story and dumb game mechanics.
-
May 1, 2020Cloudpunk is a good game… but it doesn’t do anything that we hadn’t seen before. We feel it needs a deeper focus on the gameplay, but if you’re happy just discovering this universe and its story, you can have a good time with it.
-
May 8, 2020Even with the decent visuals, this is not the Cyberpunk adventure you were hoping for, but rather some form of occupational therapy with tedious mundane and drawn out dialogue.
-
Apr 30, 2020For Cloudpunk, hardship is merely the wallpaper for a pretty yet thinly conceived gaming experience.

Apr 27, 2020Cloudpunk offers a beautiful city to explore, but unfortunately there's not much to discover there once you delve deeper.
-
Apr 27, 2020It feels unappreciative to wish that there could be even more of it, but it’s like that perfect cup of tea. You’ll always want another one.
