    The Ultimate Roller Coaster

    The game being rated 3/10 across many platforms by users of Metacritic is one of the most egregious atrocity I have ever seen in my life, especially considering the fact the previous two chapters were received pretty well - two chapters which definitely aren't THAT much better, that's if you are blatant enough to consider them to be better at all.     MW3 has everything MW1 and MW2 had - intense firefights, solid storyline, different gameplay mechanics, grandiloquent soundtrack and epic moments... A LOT of epic moments. So if anything this installment of the franchise should be rated exactly like the previous two (if not more).    … Expand

I like the Multiplayer but Modern Warfare is way more fun. The saving grace is Spec Ops. It is the best in all of Call of Duty.… Expand

This 3rd entry was criticized upon release date for not innovating and giving us more of the same, and that's true but MW3 is an immensely satisfying shooter with epic firefights that feels like an adrenaline rush every time you go through the campaign.     There are some dramatic moments that lost their bite or effect on us given the recycling of resources and scenes. Every bombastic piece that is new, is yet somehow familiar as they all feel the same as previous MW entries.     Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3. This is where the overall hate series began. The game was great, but it lacked some news. When we compare the previous parts of Modern Warfare, we immediately see the difference, but this is no longer the case here, and the third Modern Warfare looks more or less like the previous ones. The graphics haven't improved much. Multiplayer is almost the same, evenCall of Duty: Modern Warfare 3. This is where the overall hate series began. The game was great, but it lacked some news. The graphics haven't improved much. Multiplayer is almost the same, even worse. The maps are not nearly as memorable as in the second Modern Warfare and the killstreaks here were ... bad for me. They didn't fit me very well. But where the game does not lag behind is the single. The story is great here. It connects the previous parts very well and makes sense. Overall, I think that the developers were able to find a kind of limit when to throw us a proper action and when, on the contrary, quiet stealth, because in the previous part it was the action itself, until the game did not let you breathe. Here it is balanced and you will see both a proper action and slower parts in the form of flashbacks, which, as I mentioned, explain the events of previous parts. The locations are perhaps the worst and do not have the previous parts, so they are not bad at all and overall Modern Warfare 3 is mainly driven by the campaign, which beautifully closes the Modern Warfare trilogy. So if you buy the game only through singles and you played the previous parts, you will be more than satisfied in my opinion. However, if you are not interested in a single at COD and you jump to multiplayer right away, you may be disappointed and you should rather avoid the game and stay with MW2, which is almost identical in MP and especially better. But I didn't play the mulcher much, because if I wanted to, I went back to the already mentioned previous part of Modern Warfare 2, but I enjoyed the story and I think it's more than a good ending. For me, a great game that beautifully closes the trilogy and I recommend it mainly because of the single.… Expand

    MultiPlayer em 2022 pra 2023 é praticamente MORTO, não compre nessa intenção !!!

    Jogo é aceitável, possui um enredo muito genérico, e deixa muito a desejar na questão gráfica, a desculpa por ser de 2011 não se sustenta, seu antecessor tinha gráficos mais fluidos e melhores que esse MW3.
    Deveriam ter parado no MW2, jogo aceitável, nada mais que isso. nota 6/10 !

    I was very surprised to see 3 points, but I guess people focused on the multiplayer part of the game. I will only write a review for singleplayer.

It's even good. So yes, it is quite revolutionary, especially when the first game came out, but if you haven't played the third game, you are making a mistake. Once they have finished the story. So they finished the story of the trilogy. I know they're going ahead, but in the end, the story told in the first two games is finished in this game. Also, less story is told in this game if I didn't miss anything. Also shorter? I think the game takes four hours. That's how long it took for me. It has a raw and satisfying gameplay. Of course, what can we get bored of in 4 hours is another question. Although not as good as the other two games, I think the ending is very good.

    The gameplay is very good, since I don't play many FPS games, I don't know the gun or the tab, but it satisfied me as always. Especially if you are a player like me who is bad at aiming, I think that you will be satisfied to see that you get used to the end of the game and to play better. Other than that, there is nothing new in the game. I mean, I don't remember if we did anything special to this game, not in the first two games. Even so, it didn't impress me much.

    Unfortunately, I will not be able to participate in MW3 very much in terms of the environment. Yes, there is war and there is dust everywhere, but those color filters are killing me now. In other words, I think that everything does not have to look soulless just because there is a war. I think they realized this themselves and used more vibrant colors in their later CODs. So after all, the point of this game is not to shout war, war. Presenting a realistic image. It was the only thing that took me away from the atmosphere. The gun sounds were nice, but what I like more is the attention paid to the music in a game that I don't think needs music much. There are 5-6 songs in his OST that can really be listened to again. Fantastic

Oyun Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2'nin hemen sonrasını konu alıyor. Biraz hikayeden bahsedeyim, Yüzbaşı Price ve Soap tekrardan Vladmir Makarov'un peşine düşerler. Bir önceki oyunda devam eden savaş bu oyunda da sürmektedir, hatta Rus ordusu Manhattan'a saldırı düzenlerler, fakat "Metal 0-1" isimli ekip Rus denizaltılarına sızar ve denizaltıyı ele geçirdikten sonra içerisinde bulunan silahları Rus gemilerine karşı kullanır ve böylece saldırı püskürtülür. Çok geçmeden Londra'da bir bomba patlar ve olay yerinde bulunan turist bir ailenin ölümüne sebep olur. Olaylardan sonra Rus devlet başkanı ABD ile Hamburg'da barış görüşmelerine başlayacaklarını açıklar. Fakat devlet başkanının uçağı yola çıktıktan hemen sonra Makarov ve adamları tarafından düşürülür, düşen uçaktan sağ çıkan devlet başkanı ve ailesini almak için bir helikopter gönderilir. I have been following call of duty since a long time , Modern Warfare 3 was also full of action and fire fights and cod’s multi-player has always been best at graphics and combats .It has been made on an older engine but sure has great graphics and fighting scenes has been crammed together .The important thing that i noted here was it still runs on 60 frames per second , whereas nowadays game have been moving to 90 frames per second which is huge difference.
    It is a bit different from elite though where elite has all the stats and maps loadout given separately but here it's not available , would be very happy if developers add that functionality as well .You can exactly check where you were killed in the map and who actually killed you , it also contains info of spawns points as well as pictures of maps to choose from , this is what i love about cod because it gives you all the options to plan and create a strategy to attack.
    Campaign in call of duty hits a lot of highs and lows as its predecessors we still have a lot of annoying multiple re spawning multiple ghosts closets for enemies and sometimes enemies seems to completely disregard to run past your allies and shoot you , so finally i would say call of duty modern warfare 3 contains a lot of levels and tons of content but it sadly has that unforgettable story as a lot of people are dying unnecessarily inside the game .    … Expand

    It's not good as mw1 and 2. It just feels weak.

    Weapon sounds are bad. They sound like broken glass.

    Special ops gives you another perspective and there is also survival mode. But still it didn't leave the same impact as first mw's.

    The graphics. It just looks worse, because of the colour correction. It's not about the colours themselves, but how the developers presented it. Green, grey, marsh - ideally suited to the setting of the game, these are "military" colours, generally speaking. But here, as they say, there is only one step from love to hate. The "military colours" have become the colours of vomit. As for the image quality, it is not better here either. Blurry textures are everywhere. If I didn't know, I would have thought that this game was released at the same time with Modern Warfare 1 and long before the Modern Warfare 2.

    The plot. With the change in the development method, they also changed the original plot, which was many times more interesting than what we've got in the end. Yes, the story is not that bad. However, at that time it was shocking — the worst plot of all CoDs that existed in 2011.

    The level design is also very bad. Here Treyarch's hand is felt very well: huge corridors and a bunch of enemies that need to be killed. It's hard to explain, but Treyarch lazily creates levels, it's a fact. They stray too far from realism, making the levels arcade-like. Levels are just levels, corridors.     The only thing worth thanking them for is Special Operations and Survival. Interesting missions you can play with a friend. They have become much longer to play. Also the devs added something like a plot in them, instead of the 100% arcadeness that was in MW2 — not necessarily a positive thing, I, personally, don't care.     I felt that the campaign was actually good, with many memorable scenes and a very memorable villain.
    However the multiplayer is basically the same as MW2 as i remember. Only a few changes and like a couple new modes but nothing really felt new. Spec ops though, is a huge improvement. Survival lasted me for hours. I would of gave this a 7/10, but the multiplayer being    Its a 6 again

    Я играл в колды со 2 по 11 включительно, кроме гоуст. MW3 однозначно самая сбалансированная и глубокая из всего этого списка. Разделение наград на 3 ветки - лучшее что случалось с мультиплеером колды.

But there is one but. Outdated graphics. No, I'm not talking about today's time, but about 2011. For the same Battlefield 3, the graphics were much better, and even now they are amazing. But in call-of-duty the graphics were outdated. That is why you see such low marks here. But I see no reason to give a bad rating from the graphics if the game has an amazing story mode. A lot of epic, such as in a mission in the London Underground where it was necessary to stop enemies on the way on the train and the train smashes a part of the tunnel. Or a mission in Paris where the Elven Tower falls. It was especially sad when Sope Maktavish died of his injuries after the explosion of the building by Makarov. In the first modern warfare, the story mode was pretty boring but not bad. In the second part, the story mode is at the intermediate level and it is also not bad. But the third part delighted me. Conclusion: the best call of duty I've played. Cons: call of duty turned into a conveyor of the same type :( P.S lowered the rating because of the graphics, and so the game is an underestimated masterpiece… Expand

    С точки зрения сюжета это конечно абсолютный провал на самое глубокое днище но как же был хорош мультиплеер в первые несколько месяцев это просто кайф пацаны малютки вы бы знали какой это был кайф

    All the MW series that came out in the PS3 generation for me are one day better cod's because most that came out PS4 are bad. I didn't particularly suffer any moments with the MW series as my focus was only on the campaign and not the multiplayer

    Still don't know how Activision managed to create 3 beautiful actions in a row and just went into town after that releasing a bunch of **** like each year. It's not the best among 3 original MW, but it's still good.

    this is an absolute rubbish console port for the pc. unfair multiplayer with no ranked dedis, bad graphics, no special pc abilities... infinity ward reprinted mw2 with a 3 on the end and activision is digging people's pockets for money. at least the singleplayer's not bad. campaign is crazy as always and spec ops is fun with friends

    Худшая часть Call of Duty. Вторая часть Modern Warfare была намного хуже первой, но она неплоха по сравнению с этой. Купил ее только чтобы узнать окончание сюжета трилогии. Зря. Глупый сюжет, незапоминающиеся, шаблонные злодеи, в геймплее вообще ничего нового. Играл сквозь зубы, в ожидании, когда же она закончится.     It's considered bad compared to the first two games, but not for me. Likewise, it was a game I loved to play.

    MW3 is the epitome of a middle-schoolers ideal game for the early 2010s. It has not aged well by any means, but it was the game that sucked me into the COD hole after my initial fascination with MW2. Co-op missions felt more rewarding the multiplayer.

    I liked the way story ended and the beginning mission still slaps to today its great fun to play killing russians in submarine is embeded in my mind forever but first and last missions are just the two good missions.

    мне понравилась игра! Жаль Soap погиб(один из лучших персонажей в играх).
    Сюжет интересный, а конец просто шикарен.

    Я не понимаю почему многие хэйтят эту часть но по мне это хорошая игра из минусов могу отметить маленькую сюжетную кампанию и не очень удобный интерфейс я рекомендую эту часть к прохождению

    Got worse and now it's just a pretty mediocre game.nDidn't find this game good compared to previous two parts.

    Thus, I can't recommend buying this unless you (still) like the fast pace, the customizable weaponry and the short matches, of about 10 minutes each. With the very important mention that, essentially, nothing has changed.

    Stunning campaign with epic moments makes this third installment of Modern Warfare a great show with the best approach to players. No need to mention an excellent multiplayer. [Dec 2011]
