    I really don't you guys at all...when a game ships, like Assassins Creed Unity, which is un-runnable even on the highest end hardware, you **** that it's a poor console port, and that they did a terrible job with optimization. When a game ships like Call of Duty Advanced Warfare, with graphics capable of running even on $400 gaming PCs with APUs, you call it a terrible console port withI really don't you guys at all...when a game ships, like Assassins Creed Unity, which is un-runnable even on the highest end hardware, you **** that it's a poor console port, and that they did a terrible job with optimization. When a game ships like Call of Duty Advanced Warfare, with graphics capable of running even on $400 gaming PCs with APUs, you call it a terrible console port with dated graphics with a game engine form 10 years ago...listen guys, the reason we get crap like Assassins Creed Unity is because nobody can figure out what you F#$% want, do you want a game that stresses your multi thousand dollar extreme core i7 gaming PC until it chokes, or do you want a game that is perfectly playable on your mid-range budget PC and can push it to 4k no problem. At what point does your opinion balance out? or are you just trolling?... At least Sledgehammer is smart and knows a LOT of people are going to buy this game and be able to run it on modest hardware. There are those of us, a lot more than you, that just want to play a game. If you want to choke you overclocked multi $$$ PC until it dies and lags out, that's you, you should go buy Assassins Creed Unity, that might be the game for you.… Expand

    New engine, interesting story, okay online but refreshing for campaign if anything that is all anyone should get the game for. Best sound effects I've heard in a game and really fluid gameplay. Pretty much all the negative reviews wouldn't of played the game just kids and idiots giving a bad score because of cod reputation

    The game is neither amazing or poor, it's somewhere in between. The good news is that Advanced Warfare is far better on PC than Ghosts ever was and at least it's playable this time. The main story is interesting but nowhere near as good as campaigns from the likes of Modern Warfare and Modern Warfare 2 in my opinion.     PC performance is okay. There's been a lot of issues with mouse sensitivity problems and frame stutter, each of which have their solutions but can't be entirely eliminated. Hopefully this will be patched soon, the game is only 2 days old as of this review. Unfortunately with a GTX 780 I'm forced to play on low settings with shadows turned off just to sustain the 91fps cap in multiplayer (something which is also very annoying for people with high Hz monitors like me), also bear in mind I'm running in 1440p.

    Multiplayer itself is... well, it's Titanfall. It is so blatantly obvious they've copied Titanfall's approach, which doesn't necessarily bother me too much as it's still enjoyable, but does show a lack of innovation. Multiplayer is satisfying but nothing new. It's still Call of Duty and feels like any other game in the franchise, just with more verticality due to the Exo suits. One big problem I have though is the pace of games. On console the controllers restrict turning movement and is much slower, making games more controlled and less chaotic. On PC people are running around like mad men with their mice sensitivities allowing for much faster reactions compared to console. I find the games are overwhelmingly fast and you don't have much time to think. It's literally an iteration of spawn > 1 kill > die > spawn > 1 kill > die... etc.    … Expand

    Other then not having the promised dedicated servers its overall a massive improvement over the previous Cod titles which highly includes Ghost .As a new game to the series it offers a high amount of new experience to players through the great multiplayer gameplay and interesting storyline.

    - Need more multiplayer maps as i feel like im playing the same map over and over

    Well this is recommended to FPS shooters as promised play cod as you never before cause this is true but after when they give us out dedicated servers otherwise newbies to COD will face a disadvantage over veteran players

    Overall i give it a 7 / 10 for having the worst multiplayer connection severs until they add in dedicated servers i can truly rate it a 8.5 / 10 .    … Expand

    I don't understand the low rating for this game. Yeah, the game is garbage but how can a game where Kevin Spacey declares war on the entire world have a 4.5 rating? 10/10

    I really liked single player campaign. My nephew said that this game is his favourite game of weekend. It taked some time to adjust my PC. Most problems were caused by antivirus that ruined hard drive perfomance. Then I removed it, formatted volume, set pagefiles and game began to work like charm. Campaign is great.     I have only been playing this game for a few days, but so far this game has exceeded my expectations. I think anyone who was a fan of quake2/quake3 back in the day should give this a go. This is the kind of MP experience I was really hoping for but didn't get from Titanfall when it came out. And I am also happy with how optimized it is for PC (compared to Ghosts). Also, for anyone trying to do the Steam Box / HTPC thing, this game has full controller support with Aim assist and everything. Take this review with a grain of salt if you want. I am one of the few people who actually really liked Ghosts as a game, but I refused to write a positive review for it because I felt like PC gamers really got the shaft on that release. But with AW, I get the impression that they really put some effort into the PC version.… Expand

    Well , I am not a Call of duty fan at all.Don't even a call of duty player. I am a lover of Sci-fi game.And as this Call of duty game has turned into a great Sci-fi game containing a great gameplay, multyplayer,graphics,story,fun,action and environments, I don't just like this one. I love this one

    What it gives with one hand it takes away with the other and that seems to be the theme that runs through. You are this super solider with an exo-suit, but it only allows you to experience super human abilities in very constricted ways. You can only climb walls at certain points, you can only use shields at certain points, and the only relatively free reign is the powered jump.

    Missions are short, story is weak, and characters are forgettable. I almost feel sorry for Kevin Spacey being involve in this, and most of time he is the only driving force in the story. But perhaps that's just me... as I have played every game in this series and there is nothing new to offer. Or perhaps that it's time for Activision to either get really creative or drop it.

    Gameplay is interrupted by the inclusion of button tapping moments. While the idea is good the method has been over used. This means that game play feels choppy, as you have to drop everything and match key presses with on screen instructions. Then there are parts of the story it just glosses over and downright ignores. In my books it's the worst crime because it assumes that people are stupid and insults them greatly.

    Gameplay there really isn't anything new here, and what parts that are new are so briefly used that it's instantly forgettable. You get to use stealth suits, climb walls, fall from great heights, grapple hooks ... but sadly all of it makes up less than 5% of single player game. Some great ideas but poorly executed just like the direction of Crysis. The game gives you superhuman abilities then forces you to use a gun, so expect for the most part to be frustrated and disappointed.

    But what I can't understand is the Professional Critics, what game where they playing... I'd like to know? Current score is 77 by them and 4.6 by users, have they lost touch, or has silver crossed their palms?
    The good things are grenades, some really clever features, but again they over complicate it with the keys you have to press to select them. I don't know who designed the key layout, but it has to be some contortionist that was born with six fingers. Everything feels wrong which means sadly you end up shooting everything in your way using little of the "added" features that AW boosts so proudly about.

    Then there are level cut screens which would be a good time to load the mission in. Clever and has been used in games for decades, but for whatever reason it loads half, waits until the movie has finished then loads the second half. Why? Also you have to watch the movie, without being able to skip, this becomes an issue when you have finished a level. Where you have to watch the proceeding level clip before you are able to quit the game, this seem silly for whatever reason they decided to do this for? Then when you start the game, you have to watch the same clip again.

    Can't comment on Multiplayer, which I haven't played, and Activation probably thanks me for.
    I am giving this a score of 5; I think it more than fair perhaps a little generous at times. Though I can't say I really enjoyed it, there wasn't a big moment where I refused to play it. It was just average, maybe a little less, and that's the biggest shame of it all. It could have done so much better.    … Expand

    For me the COD series is moving too far away from it roots,I used to love it's simplicity, and it was in this simplicity came the exciting playability. Now it is more about remembering how to get the grenade you want, or timing the double jump. In COD I want to be thinking about the tactics not the button pushing.

    While Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare is an improvement from the horror which Ghosts was, the developers of this franchise needs to do better than this to bring Call of Duty back to its glory days.
    On a positive note, the PC port is good, and the multi-player is no half shabby thanks to the new "exo-suits".

    This game is not ghosts. Give it a go if you like Titanfall or Black ops 2! You get fricking lasers the multiplayer is decent and the customization alone is enough to keep me playing for hours!

    Probably the best cod out so far. I know people say all cod games are the game but this one seems so much more fun and better. The pc port is okay, better than ghosts and you can acuttaly get good fps this time round

Its new character customization and gun variants a very neat to find and collect to use in game. The single player was great fun and exo survival is a blast and exo zombies looks very difficult even to a experienced nazi zombie player. Even though there are soPersonally I love this. The multiplayer is very playable but yes lag is a bit of an issue. I'm glad it lived up to my expectations. Its new character customization and gun variants a very neat to find and collect to use in game. The single player was great fun and exo survival is a blast and exo zombies looks very difficult even to a experienced nazi zombie player. Even though there are so many variants of guns to collect i feel that most of the guns in-game are not good for use in competitive gameplay. Such as the AMR9 with its horrible damage and the XMG and EPM3 just not being useful in gameplay. The only guns you see in multiplayer are Ak12 and Bal 27 with a few acception here and there. This is a HUGE problem and i think some guns should get nerfed and some buffed, but that is just me. Overall this game is amazing and i hope it gets even better with the DLC to come.… Expand

    Antes de começar a falar sobre os modos    Dessa vez o game se passa no ano de 2054, onde a maior força militar mundial pertence a uma corporação privada, cujo o fundador é Jonathan Iron. Depois de ter bases instaladas em quase todos os países, a Atlas quer atacar os EUA, pois a mais de um século que eles vem falhando inúmeras vezes ao tentar instalar democracias em todos os países.
    Antes de começar a falar sobre os modos separadamente, irei falar dos gráficos e dos jogabilidade, pra quem jogou na nova geração e no PC, deve ter se surpreendido com os gráficos de Advanced Warfare, simplesmente foi o maior avanço gráfico da franquia, já pra quem jogou na geração passada não precisa ficar triste, os gráficos da antiga geração são razoavelmente bons.
    Já a jogabilidade é extremamente fácil, se acostumar com os movimentos do exoesqueleto não demora muito, já o resto continua a mesma coisa que os outros jogos da franquia.

    CAMPANHA:
    A história de Advanced Warfare é boa porém previsível, pois ela não prende o jogador. O que faz você continuar a jogar a campanha é a própria gameplay, pois a maioria das missões que há na campanha são realmente muito divertidas.
    As ligações entre os personagens é fraca, você não consegue perceber a amizade entre Gideon e Mitchell e a ligação com Irons e seu filho.
    A dublagem de Advanced Warfare comete vários erros, principalmente em sincronia labial, você vai encontrar varias vezes personagens mexendo a boca sem falar nada. Agora em questão de qualidade da dublagem, são poucos os personagens que combinam com a voz do dublador, e o pior de tudo é que a Activision continua com o descaso em não lançar o jogo em PT-BR para PC, pelo menos uma legenda eles teriam que se dar o trabalho a colocar.

    MULTIPLAYER:
    Se você achava que o exoesqueleto iria trazer muita inovação ao multiplayer, você está errado, logo depois de algumas partidas os movimentos do exo já se tornam "normais" e você quase não nota diferença. O jogo tem pouca variedade de armas e scorestreaks, porém as classes estão bem mais personalizáveis, não irei entrar em muitos detalhes para não alongar a análise.
    Sobre os mapas, na minha opinião, a maioria não presta, são poucos os mapas que me agradaram, e todos, sem exceção, contém paredes invisíveis, e isso irrita muito, principalmente na hora que você precisa fugir de algum oponente.
    Apesar de tudo isso, o multiplayer é bastante divertido, na minha opinião um dos mais divertidos, e isso torna as paredes invisíveis apenas um pequeno incomodo.

    EXO SURVIVAL:
    O exo survival é o que mais deixa a desejar, parece que a sledgehammer games fez esse modo só pelo motivo que o coop vem se tornando obrigatório em todos os COD's, difetente do extinction (COD: Ghosts) e do Zombies(COD: World At War e sequência Black Ops), o Exo survival tem os mesmos mapas que o multiplayer, e isso reforça o que eu disse antes. Porém o modo zombies que irá vir por DLC promete ser muito bom.    … Expand

    I wrote this review because i have played the game 4 times and I have played Call of Duty from Call of Duty 3. Advanced Warfare is offer a very interesting gameplay. So far Advanced Warfare has the best story line but maybe not as good as Black Ops 2 that has a choice feature. But Advanced Warfare still better than any other FPS game in this year. Why I'm giving only 9, because AdvancedI wrote this review because i have played the game 4 times and I have played Call of Duty from Call of Duty 3. Advanced Warfare is offer a very interesting gameplay. So far Advanced Warfare has the best story line but maybe not as good as Black Ops 2 that has a choice feature. But Advanced Warfare still better than any other FPS game in this year. Why I'm giving only 9, because Advanced Warfare single player doesn't have the ability to chose your loadout at the beginning of the mission, and there's a little weapon to chose. But the futuristic world, weapon, tech, and Exoskeleton make the game fun and make player can embrace new tactic at multiplayer. Importantly Call of Duty Advanced Warfare is a game that JUST RELEASED, it age not even reach half a year. So there's still a lot of update and patch that will make the game better.     The multiplayer really feels fresh and fun with the exo suits with maps designed around them. Loot drops extend the replayability ten billionfold. Even though gun variations can have more damage, range, etc, the benefits are evened out with reduced other stats, giving you the ability to find the variant for you. Also, Kevin Spacey.

    Literally the best game ever made! The game contains beautiful graphics and the weapons feels fun to shot. Singeplayer has a immersive story, great characters and best music ever used in a video game. Multiplayer requires skill and 360 noscoping has never felt better.

    Overall this is a quality built game with terrible network and support issues from Activision and Steam. This game has true potential but sadly due to the on-going issues with connecting to the game, not being able to load certain maps, lag (SEVERE LAG), to the non existent support, very few people are playing the game.

    More people are playing World at War, MW3, Black Ops2 and often MW2 than are playing this game on a daily basis.
    It is very difficult to find a game anymore and after spending way too much time rebooting and attempting to connect, when you do get in game, the possibility of the map not loading is rather high. It is not unusual for some people to spend 30 minutes each time they attempt to play to only experience multiple issues and when they do get in game, there is a 65% chance the lobby will be very laggy.
    Although I do not have near the issues of my clan mates, I see the struggle daily. After putting in various tickets on my own, I have never received helpful assistance to resolve the on going issues.
    Had these issues been resolved, I would have rated this game around an 8 but I feel more than generous with the 4 as I find myself going to other games way too often simply as a direct result of poor performance on the manufacturers part. Activision is obviously only in business to rob all of us and we are suckers for it.    … Expand

    Una campaña decente pero con un port a PC desastrozo: Muchos crasheos, stuttering, porteado desde consola, no han incluido el doblaje hispanoamericano en PC y es muy difícil configurar la sensibilidad de apuntado y demás opciones (hay que hacerlo desde el archivo y no se siente bien de todas formas).

    I can honestly say that this game is not terrible, it clearly doesn't deserve a 10, but it also very obviously doesn't deserve all the 0's and 1's it is getting. So far this is a very basic list of pro's and cons I have found

    -A lot less op perks and the perks you do get while advancing the game do not take over - Modern warfare 2 anyone? :)

    -Some very annoying bugs, such as the huge lag spikes for the first ~30 seconds of the game
    -No delay on jetpack so you can basically bunny hop 15-20 feet in the air constantly (more of a problem in regular games as hardcore you can easily shoot them down)
    -Lack of guns in general, I'm sorry no matter how many reskins you release of a gun with slight variations, it isn't a different gun. Having 1 more bracket in fire speed with 1 less in accuracy just means its a modded gun, no a new one.
    -Still no dedicated servers, and this is the biggest one for me. No matter what people say, they have been plagued by this problem for years and they always mention they will add them but they don't, just like Ghost.

    My final thoughts are really that this is in improvement in the franchise and if they continue supporting it and adding polish it will be one of the better ones, I would recommend picking this up if you like a more tactical game then the previous installments and are willing to play hardcore.

    P.S. As a side note, since I'm sure people will think this is a fanboy thing since I didn't instantly give it a 0, I have played every cod up to black ops, then stopped for for the next few installments after looking into them. decided to give this one a try and while it wasn't all I was hoping for, it is definitely worth a looking into.

    Edit: came back to fix this up. It was good until hackers went rampant and they did nothing about it. Quickly went from a 7/10 to a 3/10.    … Expand

    Easily the best Call of Duty for a long while. New features, abilities and the best CoD story for quite a while makes Advanced Warfare a welcome return to form for the series.

    Basically what sledgehammer did was take ghosts, improve it significantly, and add a jetpack because why the **** not. This ends up with a mediocre game, that is more enjoyable than ghosts by a longshot. Nothing amazing, but its alright.

What follows is a review of the single-player mode only.

    The campaign is, well, Call of Duty. Tons of explosions, overly epic action, "you're a regular soldier, but it so happens that you save the world" sort of stuff. The plot has its moment and takes around 5-6 hours to complete. It's full of cliches and a quasi-patriotic solemnity. It's also annoying at times. The total death toll after one playthrough reached 1700 casualties. This means that 1700 people died shot by the player/protagonist. And I find it difficult to believe that such a killing-machine can be incapacitated or imprisoned by someone and is rendered helpless. I just don't buy it. And this, I mean the heroes weaknesses, are constantly shown "during cut-scenes" to add drama to the action. However, instead of drama, I find it annoying. Take for instance the stealth mission in Detroid. You have a freaking exo-suit that allows you to bend metal and tear off car doors: why can't I punch the first encoutered guard in the face and take away his rifle? I don't know. And this sucks.

    Overall, I found the campaign rather pleasant. So I'd give it a 6,5 and as halves aren't allowed, 7 it is!    … Expand

    All i can say is I had a lot of fun. I was only playing the single player campaign . I was looking for a game with real FPS experience after the boring attempt of playing Deux Ex MD ,and where can you find that shooter experience if not in COD? People are **** a lot about COD but i think they got used with excellent gameplay mechanics, great spontaneous adventure , rewarding aim and shotAll i can say is I had a lot of fun. I was only playing the single player campaign .     This game was painfully poorly optimized requiring an extreme amount of power for PC's. I mean this lags on mid graphics cars and even high ones as well with massive frame drops and oh boy, every single review is correct, having dedicated servers is a must for the price I paid for this title, its so gosh darn bad....this is the last COD game for me.

    Call of Duty. Again Call of Duty. Its nothing new and nothing special. Call of Duty Advanced Warfare features a boring singleplayer and a laggy, unbalanced and buggy multiplayer. My Computer crashes sometimes when i try to play the game (and its the games fault, not the fault of my hardware). I cant say that its fun, not even a little.

    A lot of people are frustrated with bugs and fps drops, most of them i fixed by changing one setting. The fps drops does get to you sometimes and therefor i can not give it a 10/10 But for the enjoyable    I've enjoyed every moment of the game. The campaign was a little short or maybe i was just too invested.

    Advanced Warfare is definitely one of the most attractive and appealing Call of Duty title at the time of release, at least on the campaign side. Personally, the way AW handles futuristic tech is what I would call the sweetspot of this theme; anything beyond it is just ridiculous.

    Go get Battlefield if you're that fond of Multiplayer. COD is fabulous with its campaign and story-line.

    The dynamics can not be broken. Renewing the formula or the engine means 2 or 3 years of development, bad for the results account. And total, to sell the same.

    Post anything, take advantage of this new COD. Let's see if you get bored and start to be a bit critical. With me this saga died after the MW3.    … Expand

Сюжет копирует Codmw только укороченный в раза 3. Ну возможно игра понравиться тем кому нравиться быстрые перестрелки.Игра плоха.     It is not a bad game. It is a Call of Duty game, which kind of answers all the questions regarding the gameplay and the mechanics. I am not into COD Multiplayer, but single was quite entertaining and short enough not to bore me.

    I can say that the campaign mode was okay. I found this game better than the COD: Black Ops series and the COD: Ghosts. But it's still not good enough for me... 7hrs on record.

    여러 스타 배우를 고용한다고 없던 캐릭터성이 생기진 않는다는점.. 근현대물인건 신선했지만 여러 슈트의 능력들이 1회용으로 그것도 별로 유용하게도 쓰이지 않는다는점이 아쉽다.

    Получилась намного лучше чем Ghosts,сюжет хоть и туп,но неплохо написан,графика была кардинально улучшена и геймплей благодаря сеттингу будущего стал поразнообразнее но мультиплеер полное говно и зомби режим скучный

    Graphics: Pretty good for the time and they still kind of hold up today. Interior lighting looks better then exterior lighting and textures kinda look like **** compared to modern textures we have to day but overall, not bad. 5/10 average (If compared to graphics today).

    Sound: Guns sound fine, if a bit compressed and the music is also just meh.

    A game like this rests on the back of it's gameplay, which is bad, so overall 3/10. Not the worst COD game out there (WW2 is worse) but still far from good.    … Expand

    This game is a lot of fun. There’s some Crysis in it, some Titanfall, some elements borrowed from Unreal Tournament and Battlefield. Underneath it’s still Call of Duty though, finally modernized in terms of visuals. [13/2014, p.50]
