Weird game. It's very easy, repetitive, and awkward as an adult, yet it's also quite inappropriate for kids. Just feels like a boring game that only became popular because of memes because of its weirdness, but the game itself is not worth playing, even for free.

I think metascore 72 is honestly fair for this. It isn't anything new or special, any mobile game looks like this.

This game didn't really keep my interest. Feels way overrated than it should be.

I watched Barb play this garbage at 5AM and I've never seen someone so miserable in my entire life.
    The game's been described as:
    - All you do is run errands for fukcing Bligiboblonger
    - The worse parts of Pokemon combined with terrible escort mission
    - Awful, cringy, putrid, and abysmal
    - Worse than Superman 64
That's all you need to know.

You shouldn’t play with your food, but it’s necessary when dealing with the creatures of Snaktooth Island. While the creative design and catchy music are tasty side dishes, Bugsnax‘s main course of monster-catching gets a tad stale before the end.

And underlying it all, the one thing that didn't take us by surprise: the old catch-'em-all urge, as moreish as ever. Whether it's tickling your head or your heart, Bugsnax ensures they're never empty calories. [Issue#353, p.116]

A rare but original adventure tha combines exploration, capture, conversations and a disturbing sense of humor. Try it if you want something different.
