    The game is beautiful, the maps are diverse, but apart from the assets it's garbage.

    Pray tell me, which game designer came up with the idea of 1-hit killing tanks with airplanes? Or sniper scopes acting as a 100W LED torch? I have more FPS during a round then in the menu.     The same is true after pressing quit. The game is stuck at a black loading screen for a minute.

    I've tried everything I found on the internet, but nothing solved it.
    I also tried to contact the publisher of the game, but didnt even reply to my query on how to fix it.

    The game would be worth it, if the price was 5 bucks.
    But 40 bucks? Ludicrous....

    Just as a reference, try playing Hitman (2016/2018). Their loading time in the menu is a breeze.
    THAT is a quality game, not Battlefield V

    Oh, and like 1 out of 20 rounds the server just disconnects everyone in the round.

    Disclaimer; Im a huge oldschool BF fan. I ve sank like 1k+ hours into BF2142 BF2 and BF3. I got BF 5 trhough amazon games.
    This game lost me after only 1 hour of gameplay. The weapons and the aiming feels very floaty and assisted. You dont feel like you actually land the shots.     This is the worst Battlefield ever. Even Battlefield 2042 did it a lot better with adding 1942 classes, vehicles and maps. This game is a horrible and cheap attempt to copy Call of Duty while fulling it of SJW garbage propaganda. This is total unrespect for WWII veterans.

    The best of the Battlefield series. Aaaamazing graphics and sounds. But the game is ridden with bugs and cheaters. So if you are lucky enough to not, lag, crash to desktop or get stuck inside things the game is awesome. Hope EA will fix the game soon.

    Man, I tried to like this game...I tried so hard but i'm sad to say, its garbage, complette and utter garbage.

    Let's start with immersion and maps. Or I should rather say lack of immersion. This just doesnt FEEL like a WW2 battlefield. It feels generic bordering on absurd sometimes.     Take the skins for example, nothing knocks you out of immersion faster than getting killed by a guy that looks like he came straight out of phantom of the opera. Or the steampunk like gasmask skins...they're just ridiculous. And dont even get me started on running into a japanese woman on provence ... i mean, come on, its just absurd. Im not expecting 100% historical accuracy from a battlefield game. BF1 did this right, it felt authentic and real. The maps are just bland, there are a couple of good ones but none are really memorable. The only one that really stands out is Iwo Jima, that ones amazing but everything else is garbage. Its a damn WW2 shooter, give us WW2 location not these nondescript generic locations nobody cares about.

    Next up the clunky menu and "progression", more absurdity.
    Every tank for every single faction has a different progression tree. So you may level your Tiger Tank specs to max but still sit at 1 for the Churchill. Not to mention the vehicle progression creating a SERIOUS handicap for new players. You run into somebody with the exact same tank and engage in 1v1 you will loose and theres nothing you can do about it except run. This, to some extent, also holds true for infantry.
    The customization is super clunky just like the entire menu system.

    Gunplay
    Oh gunplay...What baffles me about BF5 is how they could get it so utterly wrong after achieving almost perfection in BF1. The guns in BF5 feel like paintball guns. That starts with the sound and ends with the damage they do. They just dont feel right, or powerful.

    Planes
    Lets get one thing straight, planes in BF1 were OP as hell, against a competent pilot the only thing that could get him out of the sky was another competent pilot in a fighter. going 50-1 in the attack plane was way too easy. That being said, in BF5 they went the exact opposite way where planes just feel like a total joke. Again, they lack gravitas and just dont feel impactful. And the planes are where the progression system hurts most, the difference between a fully specced plane and one without specs is tremendous and makes for an extremely frustrating experience for new players.

    Overall it feels like a design by committee game where they took some ideas that somebody thought were a good idea on paper and just threw them together and came up with this mess, I doesnt feel like a passion project but more along the lines of "OK, EA says we have to make another battlefield now so might as well get to it". I'm not even gonna get into the whole "alternate" history thing...

    Maybe for the next one DICE/EA should actually listen to the gamers and not the managers who try to pander to a crowd that wont play the game to begin with.

    Funny annecdote here, i havent played a CoD game since World at War but the combat in warzone actually feels a lot more battlefield like than BF5 does, try wrapping your head around that.    … Expand

    An average game that doesn't deliver on the ww2 theme. More importantly every game is full of cheaters with aimbots. And there is no way to deal with them..
    Bf5 was truly ,a frustrating experience for me.

    I've never played a game so bad and problematic, graphics that have been downgraded, even playing in 4k in the ultra, compared to battlefield 1, Much inferior in all respects, it seems to have been produced in a hurry, the weapon customizations are horrible compared to the previous BF HUD is a failure. Everything in this game is a failure. The WOKEfield West story strikes again, it's disappointing

    Broken, buggy and unoptimised. After the 5.2 update my frame rate yoyos up and down causing the game to constantly stutter making it too hard to hit teleporting targets. Just as it was getting good too.

    Enjoy cheating c*nt on every corner and in every game.
    There is no way to play a round without at least 1 cheating c*nt in your or enemy team.
    So go and buy cheats too or at least use macro, to have a tiny little bit of fun.

It still has many issues, but my biggest complaint is the blatant and continual hacking. I had a lot hope but it's been the same story everytime from EA/DICE unfinished product gets released to bad reviews and in the end a decent product doesn't matter.     No commander mode... Dowódca odróżniał i dawał unikatowe uczucie w rozgrywce. Z miłą chęcią pomagałem sojusznikom w BF2 ogarniać się na mapie UAV, skanami, artylerią czy skanem. Teraz tego brak, można co najwyżej obciągnąć laskę brudasowi jako squad leader...

    If you want to play the Andromeda equivalent of battlefield, this is the game for you. After 4 the series goes down in quality with each installment . A disappointment. If the next game won't go back to the basics, this is the end of the Battlefield series.

Сомнительное решение ну да ладно. Теперь челиков нельзя пометить, теперь снайперы могут не вылазить со своих точек отстреливая кучу врагов, и пулеметчики лежащие в углах. Сомнительное решение добавить отдельные пулеметы под названием универсальные, но универсальными они не являются т.к с ними надо играть только на сошках, ибо стоя вы даже в нескольких метрах с трудом попадете в него. Штурм почему то убрали. Понравилась специализация ствола, по типу прокачи ствола можно выбрать с каким стилем играть, увеличить скорострельность или понизить отдачу и т.п. Так же и с техникой. Карты отстойные, из ванильных карт только 3 нормальные. Оптимизация ужасная, с моим железом каким-то образом игра то лагает, то не лагает. Одиночку не стал проходить, она не особо интересная. Обещали в сентябре амереканцев, только метро добавили. Вообщем все будет, но ПОТОМ. А да и кстате баттрояль гавно, но зона прикольно сжигается. Теперь еще поддержку отменили, молодцы, а я думал что увижу восточный фронт… Expand

    Time for another review update I guess...So I avoided picking up the game till a few moths ago as part of EA access in PS4 and I still hated it. Come the release of Operation Underground and the first two Pacific maps and Fliegel AA rocket, I thought...finally they're starting to nail Map design, game flow, player visibility and improve balance between vehicles/infantry(which is what theTime for another review update I guess...So I avoided picking up the game till a few moths ago as part of EA access in PS4 and I still hated it. Come the release of Operation Underground and the first two Pacific maps and Fliegel AA rocket, I thought...finally they're starting to nail Map design, game flow, player visibility and improve balance between vehicles/infantry(which is what the majority of players play as most of the game). So, I though finally they know what they're doing and heading to a good direction. How wrong I was.....barely a moth later they hit the game with a complete core mechanics re-design and destroying the only thing that they used even during their launch, when they paid the 'Game Changers' to constantly hammer the talking point of ''ignore the game's flaws and PR because the gun-play is the best ever!'. So now over a year later, the game is back to effectively Alpha stage where they're reworking and then spend another year at least creating a new balance. The bulk of players playing infantry are just cheap target practice for vehicles, which in most servers seem to have a ''gentlemen's agreement'' to ignore each other and just farm infantry with incendiary bombs and other BS. Topping that off, unless you're a hardcore vehicle player to grind their upgrades, you have no chance using one. Of course what's worse is that the game balance is really geared towards vehicles being the real counter to other vehicles. Now apart from BF1 I never truly enjoyed using vehicles in any of the titles, however in BF3/4/1 I absolutely loved cracking them open like tin cans and was one of the most satisfying things in game. In BF5 it's just annoying and frustrating with AT weapons feeling like complete jokes, from the slow mo preparations to fire them, reload, aim down sight(actually not down sight, just a slight zoom in while the weapon obstructs visibility), to the sounds and trajectory...and my god the piss poor effect on vehicles. Point is really, Dice are still messing about with this half finished buggy title like it's in pre-alpha stage where they're trying to work out basic game balance and core mechanics that will decide what the experience will feel like as a whole. In conclusion, don't bother with it unless you want to play through an ever changing, inconsistent buggy game by a studio that clearly has no real vision for this title and runs around like headless chickens changing stuff on a dime in the hopes of a miracle golden egg landing on their lap. And no matter what they boast all the time, they have no interest in player opinions and simply throw in changes in the hope it will be the answer to more sales completely disregarding those who already spend money on it. I mean...who the hell ruins their main selling point and only generally accepted good feature of their title? It's a really badly run studio like Bioware so you can't ever realistically expect it to do this well. As a whole it's not the studio it used to be with a collection of some clearly incompetent leaders at the helm. If you still have hope, then it's just a delusional wishful thinking not based on the reality they've shown… Expand

    Balance is completely busted, aircraft is dominating everything and you do not even need a shred of skill to kill someone with it, game now spot targets for you to bomb, very convenient, and the only reliable way to shoot it down is another plane.
    Same goes with tanks, the only way to kill them is explosive charges or another tank, since grenade launchers are useless. You can also try stationary defence guns to take vehicles out, but they will probably shoot you first.
    Maps were never a strong side of battlefield games for me, though there is a handful of good maps in each game, but i don't like any in this game at all, i play only large game modes and it seems maps were designed with only conquest mode in mind, they are not balanced in other modes at all. They look really great, but terrible to play on.
    I have nothing to say about sound in this game, it's great, but not it's enough to make this game good.
    We have incompetent developers who do not know what are they doing and which auditory their managers are targeting with their game, combine that with bugs which they are slow or unlikely to fix, and with each update introducing more of them, sometimes experience breaking (like you can't unlock anything and get credits from ranking up), how can anyone like that mess? DICE is steadily declining and quality of their games too. I can't rate it high, this is sub-par quality product, even after a year since release.    … Expand

I try to enjoy it for a long time but that enjoyment is pretty rare. there so many racist retards and censor in chat is **** what is this elementary school? visibility is **** so you dont see the enemies half the time and they removed 3d spotting so we can work as squad but that failed cuz no sniper on my squad ever spots enemies.

    this game is unplayable. literally. enemy always kill you with 1 shot but you will ned atleast 3 to kill them and the lag in the servers makes the whole game literally unplayable. the other problem is the hacker.
    they shoot you from 300 meter with an smg and you die from 1 shot and you need atleast 3 shot to kill him. UNPLAYABLE: WORST GAME I EVER PLAYED.

    Después de haber jugado a 6 entregas este Battlefield es el peor que he jugado y en el que mas se te penaliza si lo entras a jugar mas tarde que el resto. El sistema de precisión del juego incita al gente a estar tumbada o agachada, los diseños de los mapas no ayudan para nada, no se puede marcar y sigue el tema de las bengalas que señalizan en el mapa todo el tiempo.,etc... Básicamente loDespués de haber jugado a 6 entregas este Battlefield es el peor que he jugado y en el que mas se te penaliza si lo entras a jugar mas tarde que el resto.     Worst Battlefield game of the franchise in my opinion. Terrible gunplay, no gun customization, seeing the enemy is next to impossible sometimes, causing you to die without even knowing where the enemy was most of the time.
    This isn't even taking into account the abundance of hackers in the game and they seemingly never get banned.

    Only graphics matter in this game.

    Character visualization and movement is terrible and unrealistic. Everything is a mess, can't see nothing, can't hear nothing. People are running towards you in a quiet area and still you can't hear his footstepts. Weapons are really messed up too, unbalanced. Hit reg is a joke.

    This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. What do you think about when someone mentions WWII? Pearl Harbor? Normandy? Iwo Jima? The European offensive and Pacific conquest? I was fully expecting to be immersed in massive battles and amphibious assaults. I was on the edge of my chair when I booted the campaign up for the first time, but that feeling quickly escaped. Instead of of being thrown into an epic beach assault on D-Day, I found myself sneaking around the enemy, trying to avoid conflict as much as I could. Why? Because I wasn't with a battalion of soldiers or Marines, it was just me, a single person. I understand what Dice and EA were trying to do, telling stories that aren't well known about WWII, but there has to be a way to integrate both into the game. The campaign was seriously lacking, it wasn't fun.… Expand

    I've played every single Battlefield since Battlefield 1942. My favorite Battlefield was 1942, Vietnam and Battlefield Heroes. But I have spent numerous of hours having fun in the other Battlefield games as well.

    Weapons like the MG42 did actual damage and was accurate (like its supposed to) while you were using a bipod.

    Now, a few upadates later, the game is completely ruined. Guns feel like peashooters. The damage is horrible and make the game unplayable for me. You can get killed while using an bipod on a LMG by a greasegun or sten from long distance while shooting your entire ammo at them. It makes no sense at all. Not only LMG's have this problem, Nearly every weapon that should do a fair amount of damage (like the STG for example) are wortheless.

    Until this is fixed and you don't need an entire magazine to kill someone, stay away from this game.    … Expand

    Pieno di Bug, Cheater, Crash, Server down, problemi tecnici di ogni genere. Non può un AAA essere in queste condizioni disastrose, soprattutto per il prezzo a cui viene pure venduto. In una parola: imbarazzante.

But, all I experienced was an extremely fast pace version of BF1, with way less components for strategic gameplay. Next, my experience on the multiplayer gametypes was horrific. It was just a constant chain of deaths, unless you camp. But, in BF1, I'm able to pull off a 40 to 5 KD ratio. Along with the almost instant deaths, they removed the aspect of spotting enemies. Unless you're a Recon (Scout). Which was a great way to relay information of the location of opponents without having to "quick scope" and camp, like the typical Scout.

    I've learned to have a great hatred for this game in its current state. This is excluding the unnecessary Political Correctness that many others have mentioned. So to sum it all up, this game is horrible if you're looking for a Battlefield 1 experience because it's NOTHING like it.    … Expand

    Ну и о графоне: порой картинка отличная, правда. Но в первой же миссии каша из пикселей вместо снега и контраст такой что сам снег выглядит как блевотня снежного мамонта. Контрастный настолько, что кажется буд-то действие происходит на луне (типа нет других источников освящения). Настолько он какой-то кашеобразно-слизкий... этот снег буд-то переварили и высрали. И это на ультрах!!!

    Years after release this game is still buggy. My number 1 is when you cannot aim, fire nor change a weapon. It's great, especially in the middle of combat. Campaign is boring and on some occasions frustrating. Like this idea of running around a map is search for campfires when you don't see **** and die after a minute if unable to get to campfire.

Читеры в этой игре почти в каждом матче,причем если игра куплена в приложении EA app ты не можешь кинуть репорт именно за читы,только за ник,аватар или идентефикатор.в 2022 разработчикам полностью плевать на свою игру(ну да у них же там новое говно вышло), никто не будет исправлять кривые механики,дисбланс с пушками и баги по типу: провалов под карту,кривой регистрации попаданий,и возможности убить сквозь бетонную стену из пистолета. с оптимизацией тоже неочень - регулярные зависания,фризы, вылеты и синие экраны(у меня I5 10400 + RTX 2060),даже с 2042 в этом плане дела сейчас получше.одним словом не покупайте эту игру,а если вам не повезло и вы купили....то вам не повезло… Expand

    Gründe: - Team Balancing steckt alle guten Spieler prinzipiell auf eine Seite. Der arme Rest muss sich niederschießen lassen. - Nie sind die Teams gleich verteilt. Ständig fehlen in meinem Team die Hälfte der Spieler - Oft habe ich einen    EA / DICE sind Betrüger und jeder der 10 Punkte vergibt ist korrupt. Warum wird dieses Spiel noch angeboten?! Es ist mittlerweile völlig unspielbar!

    Gründe:

    You would think after BF1 making a similar WW2 game would have been a no-brainer. Apparently it was EA and Dice who lacked any form of higher brain functions.

    It’s far from being ideal but all the glitches and shortcomings don’t ruin the overall fun of Battlefield V’s multiplayer experience. Although the single player portion of the game is not bad at all, I would have been disappointed if I bought the game just for it. [13/2018, p.56]

    In Battlefield V we got back to WW2, but with refined gunplay and death system which works great. There are also little problems such as low number of maps and stability issues, that are taking the fun away, but nothing that can't be fixed.

    A great World War II shooter that will grow and improve. Do not buy the game because of its singleplayer, but if you consider the campaign a bonus to the multiplayer, you will be satisfied. [Issue#291]
