I bet some people are pissed that CyberBug 2077 turned out to be complete failure and now they come here to dislike Valhalla. So typical, but thankfully Valhalla already was huge success and there's absolutely no way anyone will lower these user scores for Valhalla. AC fans will protect this game forever.

It's absolutely pathetic that people whine about Ubisoft's optimizatsion, while their games are perfectly playable. But they hype Cybertrash 2077 to moon and back while this game gets 39fps with gtx 1070 and looks like trash. It's over.

I will not put a critic about how good this game is. There already are so much 10 out of 10 reviews here.

But I would try to share three small advices to make the game better. Surely play it on the hardest difficulty and this for all (combat, exploration, assassination), disable the compass and use the crow to direct you and, most important, use your competence points only when

Applying these, the game is just ... wow. Thanks ubisoft for that.

I've played every assassins creed game and this one is definitely up their. I hated the combat system when it came out on origins, but they've perfected it now and its incredibly smooth and rewarding. The graphics are gorgeous and it runs so smooth which is shocking for an AC game. Mystical and cool open world to just get lost into and explore everything. Really immersive Assassin's Creed game. Haven't felt like this since Black Flag and Unity.

Metacritic has always been place where haters come, that just how it is. But this time they have huge problem if they wanna hate AC Valhalla. I'll put it simply. It's very good game. Hating good game with your fake lies is not easy, so yeah. Good game, would recommend.

There's no question about it that AC: Valhalla is one of the better games of 2020. All this hate is so weird to me. Like don't you have anything else to do with your life than hating video games you don't like? Specially good ones like AC Valhalla. I would understand if you hate scam games like Cyberpunk 2077, but hate for AC Valhalla makes zero sense.

Cyberpunk 2077 was absolutely amateurish trash, i was extremely disappointed. Who would have known that Ubisoft manages to make one of the best Assassin's Creed games in same year. I'm 37 hours into AC Valhalla and really enjoying it. Highly recommended, if you wanna have actual fun.

Everyone who doesn't have this game and just gave it 0/10 should feel ashamed. Like really, this is NOT okay. AC Valhalla is good game and just lying make you look like fool.

There way better story here than in Odyssey or even Origins. Graphics are also better than ever. Voice acting is on par with Unity, Syndicate and Black Flag.

This game was literally review bombed with over twenty 0/10 scores and now when fans are fighting back then some absolute losers dares to say that positive reviews are fake? This is next level pathetic, seriously.

This game has incredible atmosphere and music. I literally spent over 30 minutes just climbing the walls of London and enjoying the sunset. There are many incredible looking locations in this game. If you go into walking mode, some of the best music pieces of AC series history, start playing.

I have seen that some are trying to point out, that this game is empty, that's not true at all.

I have seen that some are trying to point out, that this game is empty, that's not true at all. It has just enough things to explore, but some of the empty areas are very much intentional. Red Dead Redemption 2 was exactly the same way. There are areas that have interesting stuff and then there are areas of just nature, beaches, forests etc. After all it's trying to be realistic presentation of 800s Norway and England. It would be awful, if behind every corner was some monster to fight with or gang of soldiers. That's one of the reasons why Odyssey failed, it had too much unnecessary content and thankfully Valhalla fixes that mistake.

Story in this game isn't sadly strongest, but it's not bad either. Just somewhere in between. Some missions are very fun, some are very basic and even boring. For example i was way more interested in Black Flag's story. But to look at this game as a complete package, it's still very nice and overall game design/open world design is way better than last two entries.

I have no idea where AC is going next or what's happening with this series, but if Valhalla happens to be last decent AC, then at least this series ended on positive note.

Been fan of these games for 10 years. This is not at all my favorite AC game, but far from worst. It's kind of sad and hilarious at the same time, to read negative reviews here, who talk about Ubisoft bots and whatever else they come up with. Ubisoft games on Metacritic have usually always very low scores and usually very few votes. So what i'm trying to say is that, as much as i haveBeen fan of these games for 10 years. Ubisoft games on Metacritic have usually always very low scores and usually very few votes. So what i'm trying to say is that, as much as i have noticed, Ubisoft games are among the last ones, that anyone would ever bot or pay for reviews etc. So it's kind of sad to see those people who claim that whenever they don't like the game, it must be bots who like it, because there is "no way" anyone else can like something, that they don't. But i guess that just shows how stupid some gamers truly are. But i can easily point out games that are actually botted on this site, for example anyone who thinks that all these last of us 2 reviews are legit, is a fool. Also Cyberpunk 2077 reviews are fakest thing i have ever seen. There are other examples as well, like Sony exclusives that usually get during the first 2 days massive amount (thousands) of extremely positive reviews, full of insanely bad grammar and nonsensical sentences. Sorry for the rant, just wanted to give my personal take about these "bots". But this game is nice imo. AC:Mirage (2023) seems to be even better AC game, hopefully they can match or make even better parkour than Unity's. Expand

The 9th century dark ages England settings is just great, supported by a well done graphics and audio. The ambience is incredibly immersive.
As for the gameplay it's an AC formula overall. A huge skill tree and many different abilities make it really fun to play and allow different builds. The combat feels simplistic at the very beginning, but becomes enjoyable later with advanced enemies

There are a few sound issues early in the game with voice acting but it's super minor. There are also some things I don't prefer, like Synin (your crow) not tagging enemies and a few other things I had to get used to but I'm still loving the game. I have 16 hours in Valhalla and that's only 10% complete. Plenty to do and it looks and plays great. Some negative reviews said the graphics were not optimized but I'm using a $100 RX570 graphics card at 3440 x 1440 on medium to high settings and it is smooth and beautiful. It's actually better framerates and smoother with this ultrawide Premium Freesync monitor than it was on my 1080p non-Freesync monitor. Really surprised at the optimization and performance. Gotta go. It's so obvious that whoever gives this anything below 7, has absolutely never (specially last 7 years) cared about Assassin's Creed games. I don't even wanna know what kind of overhyped trash these people play. AC Valhalla is one of the best AC games ever.

Assassin's Creed Valhalla is a great-looking open-world game with impressive landscapes and cinematography. However, the checklist collectible open-world still needs some work to feel truly engaging, and combat is too tedious and too frequent to be compelling. As a lapsed fan of Assassin's Creed trying to see if I can click with the series once again, Valhalla didn't quite hook me as I was hoping it would.

Assassins Creed Valhalla is a lot of fun and easy to sink dozens of hours into. It is the best entry in the more recent trilogy and genuinely elevates the gameplay mechanics. Content could be considered somewhat bloated still, but it is diverse enough and the setting and story is solid most of the way through.

Sneaking is fun, fighting is fun, walking through the great outdoors is so much fun. Sightseeing too! Valhalla is free minded and could be innovative, but lacks skills to persuade its players about that. [Issue#308]
