    I'm blown away by graphics and variety of locations this game offers. Honestly might be one of my favorites of 2020. Hopefully dlc's are good as base game.

    I have bought so many games this year, mostly because there was nothing to do thanks to quarantine. I bought Tony Hawk 1+2 remake, i bought Ghost of Tsushima, i bought 2018 spider-man (it's amazing btw), i refused to buy last of us 2 because how they lied to their fans, that was disgusting. But overall of all these games i have bought this year, i have enjoyed AC Valhalla most.

    This is good, i mean it. But Far Cry 6 needs to be something completely new, they can't make another Far Cry 5, NO, because we already have that game. It has to stand out, it has to be different, if it isn't, delay it already! And next wave of Ubisoft games needs to have complete re-invention in 2022-2023. Stuff like Prince of Persia remake with weak animations needs to be gone, forever.This is good, i mean it. But Far Cry 6 needs to be something completely new, they can't make another Far Cry 5, NO, because we already have that game. It has to stand out, it has to be different, if it isn't, delay it already! And next wave of Ubisoft games needs to have complete re-invention in 2022-2023. Valhalla is first good step into the future of Ubisoft, it's really well done game, but now things need to go even further. Really DEEPLY focus on writing, Valhalla is good, go even more deep! Invest more into your products, you have good directors, give them all the freedom the need! I know you can make good stuff, you have done it past, you can do it again, i really believe it.
    I believe in you Ubisoft, because i have really liked some of your games (AC 4 Black Flag, AC Unity (after patches obviously), Far Cry 3 and even some Ghost Recon Games, even Watch Dogs 1 was good, even tho it wasn't perfect. I would hate to see you go down like this. What you did in 2019 is unforgivable, but every company messes up at times, In fact all your games have better writing than Fallout 4 or Fallout 76, not that it's good comparison, but just saying. But you need to take Rockstar as your inspiration and i feel, in a way you already do. That's good! Just focus on quality, fix more bugs before release and just do good games. That's all it takes. I'm so far loving Valhalla and i have high hopes for Far Cry 6 and future of Ubisoft, Please don't let me and all your fans down!    … Expand

    Positives, - Many combat abilities, climbing feels smooth, parkour is okay, graphics are beautiful (one of the best i have seen in 2020) , story is 80% fun, very good soundtrack music / menu music is very relaxing.

    Negatives, - Performance could be better at times (but overall it runs well enough), some bugs.     Beautifully crafted stunning open world that is finally here to stay for years to come. I'll get the obvious part out of the way, by 2020 standards it's absolute masterpiece. Story is engaging, characters are likable, voice acting is great, graphics are amazing.     It's funny to see all these zeros from these fake accounts who don't even own the game. I'm sure real Assassin's Creed fans will come out of shadows to support this one, because it truly deserves it. It's one of the best in the whole series.

    Absolutely masterful comeback from Ubisoft. It's kinda hard to believe it's the same company that made Ghost Recon Breakpoint. Watch Dogs legion was fine, but AC Valhalla is just something else. Depth of this game blows me away. At least now i have something to do until Cyberpunk 2077 (hopefully) comes out.

    Honestly glad that cyberpunk got delayed, now i have over 20 days to enjoy this masterpiece. Strongly recommending this one. Better than last 2.

    Epic open world game full of magic and wonder, secrets and mysteries. In what other game can you go back in time to 800s Norway and England? That's right, there's none. This game is just blowing me away no matter what direction i go or what i do and it's actually well written, main character's voice acting is amazing. Graphically stunning. Highly recommending.

    Not only one of the best games of 2020, it's one of the best Assassin's Creed games, better than last two. Thankfully it already sold extremely well, almost double the amount what Odyssey did. So despite some bitter youtubers who are trying to do absolutely everything to cancel this games, it's doing very well.

    If there was one game from January 2020 to November 2020 period i could play, i would easily choose this one. It's just amazing. It has some bugs here and there, but that's expected from large open world games. Cyberpunk 2077 will have them as well, no matter how much they polish it. Top 5 game from 2020 without any question. Highly recommended.

    From November lineup this is very clear winner. Miles Morales is fine second place, but it's just too basic for my taste. I need something deeper and AC Valhalla is exactly that.

    One of the best games of 2020, huge game world, perfectly conveyed in the new game performance of this series of games. There are simply no bad words, but only a lot of different types of cool gameplay.

    Absolutely amazing game that has huge interesting open world, tons of secrets / locations to discover, epic story, good combat, interesting characters. One of the best of 2020. I just love to get lost in that game world, explore not only England, but also Norway. Soundtrack/ambient music in this game one of the most relaxing stuff i have heard in a while.

    I would recommend Youtube channel "Downward Thrust" review of this game. He is one these people who actually understand this game, not one of these "it's so boring, blah blah blah". I'm personally not going to write long review, because there's so many people out there who know how to say things better, so i will make it short. This game is absolutely amazing.

    Качественная работа над ошибками, в неё действительно интересно играть. Но я всё же надеюсь что это последняя часть на данном движке, и после неё будет настоящий некст-ген как в своё время было с Unity.

    Game looks beautiful, the menus are well designed especially the graphics settings and the gameplay is fun. So far the story is interesting (in the animus, dont care about the outside world crap going on). The viking setting is really well done. The only bad thing is the voice actor for Tonna or is tone death.

    Well, I spent about 20 hours in the game, and this is probably the best part of the latest trilogy. There has never been such a sophisticated and cool open world in the series. The developers almost found the perfect balance between the old mechanics from the first parts and the GRPG mechanics. There is work to do, but it is definitely worth your attention

    As i have played pretty much every Ubisoft AAA game i would almost say that AC Valhalla might be their best map's they have ever designed. Also, one of the best Assassin's Creed games ever. I don't even care what next AC will be or if it fails or whatever else, because i already know i'm going to play Valhalla for years to come.

    A pleasant surprise. I quickly got bored of odyssey but this is another level. The best parts is its setting, story and removal of side quests and the opting for world events which are great little additions. I hope this is going to be the new mainstream going forward.

    Haven't personally had any fps problems, but i play 1080p, so yea. I personally never cared about 4K or whatever. I tried to keep my expectations checked, but not only it delivered, it's more than what i could have even wanted from Assassin's Creed game. Without a question better than Origins and Odyssey. It's way more serious, darker and i love it.

    Overall people really can't hate this game, even if they want to. They can whine that it's maybe too long for their taste or whatever else they can come up with, but in the end it's good game that has solid writing and character, absolutely beautiful open world and no whining or complaining will change that.

A beautiful and immersive world, that makes your **** very hard from pure eyegasm. Interesting stories and charcters. Big battles that makes you feel like a war machine. Many ways to make your story, your own through customization and choices.

    Long:
    Pros
    -The quest system makes the world feel immersive and lived in (kudos ubi)
    -The game looks absolutely stunning even with my mid-tier 2070S (and never under 70 fps)
    -Big, cool, cinematic battles that is a movie worthy
    -Many customization options
    -Interesting plots and characters
    -RAVENSTHORP (your settlement and everything about it)
    -It is very long which i personally like, and to me, everything feels worth doing (meaning it doesnt feel like filler like in AC:O)
    -The longship and raiding is just awesome
    -The skill system lets you play YOUR WAY

    Cons
    -Many... MANY bugs! (still no patches a week after launch. It unfortunately took away from the immersivnes of the game)
    -It takes a little to long to get a decent selection of armors and weapons (BUT, it does make you happier when you finally get there)
    -More animation variation considering that you kill A LOT and it does get repetetive in a 65+ hour long game (the combat system is still great though)    … Expand

    This can easily be the best AC game ever. It truly is a masterpiece. Few weak points in this game won't bother the experience.

    +Theme, scenery, musics. Epic.
    +Combat; new abilities feels diverged, alive.
    +Side quests are not repetitive, all quests are unique.

    -Performance is questionable on pc
    -Combat AI is weak.

    This one has better voice acting than previous two games, better map design than previous two games, more interesting enemies than previous two games, two huge maps (Norway/England), beautiful graphics and solid story. One of the better games of 2020 hands down.

    I'm usually critical with games, specially new ones, but i can't think of anything from AC Valhalla that stood out to me as "horrible or extremely bad". I actually have so much fun with it. There's always something to do or somewhere to go and i love it. I bet people who want games to over quickly will hate that, but they should already know what assassin's creed it.     There's very clearly war between real Assassin's Creed fans and people who only liked first 2 games and think that now they can dictate what or how this series needs to be. Actual Assassin's Creed fans need to fight back now more than ever. Because this game truly deserves it and needs all the support possible.

    Ac Valhalla has insane amount of variety among different locations, more than any prior AC game could ever dream of. Even tho Norway is snowy/ice area i like it equally to England. Depends on my mood, if i wanna hang out in one area or another. Story (so far) is really good, so, so, so much better than Odyssey. Voice acting is great. Graphics are mind blowing.     You can't expect best graphics/fps, etc. You just can't, it's 2020 game, i'm sorry to break it to you, but it's time upgrade. If you really wanna play it on ps4 then ps4pro is your best option.

    London was little bit disappointing, other that it has some decent parkour areas, but what wasn't disappointing? Pretty much everything else. Would recommend if you like assassin's creed games.

    Very fun game. I tried Odyssey before, but leveling took way too long and it just didn't click with me, but Valhalla is different and better. Leveling is actually fast, you get 2 skill points instead of 1 and you get them very often so you can build your power level rather quickly. Nothing stops you moving on with story anymore. World is also designed better than Odyssey.

    Atmosphere, graphics on both Norway and England, very cool combat, better story than last two games, one of the best voice actors for main character, it's just well done game.

    I bet there will be tons of people who wanna give this game 0 or 1 scores because they are empty, sad people who are not able to enjoy anything good. I will give 10 just for that, but i would give 10 no matter what to be honest. This game is truly amazing. I actually can't believe Ubisoft delivered that well this time. I was hoping it will be good, but wow.

    Amazing game, not best game ever obviously, but one of the best of 2020 absolutely.
    If you think it's boring, well too bad. Not every game needs to be Devil May Cry and i'm saying that as hardcore DMC fan.

    With new designed open world , thre isnt side quests , actually there is but not like the old ones. They are like small world events and they make you feel like the world is living and its great. The best AC I ever played.

    I've played all games in the series, the story is very enjoyable and the world damn... Gorgeous also love everything I can do in the game! definitely a better step in the series after odyssey.

    Deep beautiful open world Assassin's Creed game, one of the best in the whole series. I'm so glad it didn't disappoint, cause i was kinda worried, but it's amazing.

    Valhalla took both concepts of the early AC games and the direction of Origins/Odyssey. The rpg elements in Origins/Odyssey were fresh bad badly executed. The loot felt never rewarding, the auto scaling enemys made it even worse. I missed the "Zelda" like feeling of unique, handplaces items in the world.

    There are a LOT of weapons scattered around the world map. But all handplaced. Its    Valhalla took both concepts of the early AC games and the direction of Origins/Odyssey. The rpg elements in Origins/Odyssey were fresh bad badly executed. The loot felt never rewarding, the auto scaling enemys made it even worse. I missed the "Zelda" like feeling of unique, handplaces items in the world.

    There are a LOT of weapons scattered around the world map. But all handplaced. Its really motivating to explore the world, raid monastery's to upgrade your village or do the world events for xp.

    The story was outstanding for todays standards in my opinion. And if you are in viking mythology you will really have a good time.

    Минусы:
    1. Графика в общем приятная, но не для 2020
    2. Анимация (и если графика ещё приятная, то анимация это вообще позор какой-то).
    3. Катитесь в ад со своим донатом в сингловой игре (но его хотя бы не навязывают).
    4. "При убийстве мирных жителей вас ждёт рассинхронизация"?????
    5. Моментами (не всегда) слишком гуманные викинги
    В общем, объективная оценка 8, но балл накинул за то, что теперь я могу играть в АС и это радует. Такие дела    … Expand

    To be honest, I wasn't going to play this game because of its release window. Luckily, Cyberpunk 2077 went with another delay so I gave this game a chance. As a person who didn't completed the last two ACs, I personally like it. Although little bugs are annoying and audio needs rework, the game is well optimized.     A AC that is going more and more in the direction of a CD Projekt Red game. Is it bad? Certainly not. Can you call it an AC? Maybe. This AC brings in the best things of old AC games and new AC games. All the annoying stuff of Origins and Odyssey like level grinding and overstuffed inventories is gone. It just makes really fun to use the abilities to kill enemies brutally. Negative side is the inaccurate combat, climbing system and some bugs. But it's ok. Would recommend it to everyone that liked the Witcher 3 and did not like how certain things was handled in AC Odyssey/Origins.… Expand

    Absolutely no bug will justify giving 0/10. That just shows that you never even cared about this game. I wanna see how people start giving "Cyberpunk 2077" - 0/10 scores, because it's obviously going to have bugs.

    Visually stunning huge game world, that has very enjoyable story, interesting characters and tons of mysteries and secrets to discover. I will keep playing this game for years to come, that's for sure. Last game that truly made me feel this way was Red Dead Redemption 2.
    Side note: It has better voice acting than previous two games, just something to point out.

    Surprisingly very good. Better than Odyssey, and just as good as Origins imo. Ubisoft combined some aspects of the old ACs and the new ones, and it works nicely. Great game.

    I have played many good games and it might be me personal preference, but i haven't enjoyed any game this much in at least 3 years. There's just something about Valhalla that stands out to me. Maybe it's just this snowy atmosphere of Norway or something idk, but i really like it.

    Amazing game! i will support and play this game for years to come with all my heart. If you give it anything less than 7 go to hell. I wouldn't even talk with you in real life, you literally don't exist for me. I'm done with Ubisoft haters, forever.

    Unfortunately this will be the last good AC game since Ubisoft decided to wrongly fire the games creative director Ashraf Ismail for stuff he was doing in his personal life which should have nothing to do with work.

    It's so cool to see Ubisoft making comeback with hit game like this. This actually might be one of the best AC games ever made, i'm serious. Way better than Odyssey.

    Assassin's Creed Valhalla is a great-looking open-world game with impressive landscapes and cinematography. However, the checklist collectible open-world still needs some work to feel truly engaging, and combat is too tedious and too frequent to be compelling. As a lapsed fan of Assassin's Creed trying to see if I can click with the series once again, Valhalla didn't quite hook me as I was hoping it would.

    Assassins Creed Valhalla is a lot of fun and easy to sink dozens of hours into. It is the best entry in the more recent trilogy and genuinely elevates the gameplay mechanics. Content could be considered somewhat bloated still, but it is diverse enough and the setting and story is solid most of the way through.

    Sneaking is fun, fighting is fun, walking through the great outdoors is so much fun. Sightseeing too! Valhalla is free minded and could be innovative, but lacks skills to persuade its players about that. [Issue#308]
