    Ubisoft really did well with this one, been at least 3 years when i actually enjoyed their games. Odyssey was fine, but boring really fast. Valhalla feels like breath of fresh air.

    AC: Valhalla doesn't exactly re-invent the formula, but i think for now it's a good thing.
    They fixed what went wrong with Odyssey and brought back missing elements while making story, characters and world better. With next one they need to do some complete overhaul, but Valhalla is good beginning for next era Assassin's Creed games.

    Out of Origins, Odyssey and Valhalla -Valhalla is easily best one. Bringing back old elements, deleting ones that were never needed. Very enjoyable AC game.

    Makes me wonder why they even did Odyssey like they did. It clearly didn't work. I'm not saying it was bad game, it had some good stuff too, but overall Valhalla stands out as superior in basically ever way. AC is finally back!

    I absolutely agree with you there, that we can't trust critics anymore. Because IGN gave this game 8/10, but Odyssey got 9.3/10, but This game is so much better than Odyssey and deserves at least 9/10.

    I would say this might be one of the best ones yet. Graphically absolutely stunning no matter where you go, lighting is so good in this game. Snow effects in Norway are also almost top tier. Story is really long and most of the times interesting. Good.

    Can anyone get more bitter than someone who played Assassin's Creed back in 2012, haven't cared for past 7 games and still tries to hate it and pretend that he/she is actually fan? Get out of here, you are not a fan, you are just hater. That's it. This game is amazing, will recommend this to absolutely every gamer i meet.

    Never cared for Odyssey, Valhalla is so much better. No grind as far as i can tell and game is actually interesting this time. You get 2 skill points for basically every mission you complete. Power level goes up fast enough. If someone think this is boring, i'm sure you will your "FUN" out of games like last of us part II.

    Very impressive game, huge landscapes and mountains to climb, engaging story, good music, more of this Ubisoft and less of whatever "Breakpoint" was.

    Great game, keep going Ubisoft! More stuff like this in Far Cry 6 please and not whatever Far Cry 5 was. Make it more serious, make it mean something, go deeper with stuff. You have done it in past with Far Cry 3, AC Black Flag and AC Unity. You can do it again.

    One of the best of 2020 and i'm saying it dead seriously. No game has so much content from this year (so far of course), resident evil 3 and avengers are absolute jokes compared to this. Making 5 hours long game that's sold for 60 should stop. AC Valhalla is easy 150 hours cool content with beautiful graphics.

    It's weird paradox that Assassin's Creed has millions of fans all over the world, but for some reason they never really come to metacritic. Maybe it's because AC fans are more mature and don't give a f_ck about some random scores on some random pages, that would make sense actually.
    And it sold over 1.8 million anyway, so basically who cares about metacritic user score at this point.

Cyberpunk 2077 as of right now is buggier than Fallout 76 at launch (i'm talking about Cyberpunk 2077 PS4 Version, i don't care about PC version).     After playing it nearly 60 hours i can say that it's very nice game. Like seriously. Whoever is giving it low scores is just afraid that "Cyberhype 2077" gets less attention. I personally like both games, but i just hate when something is extremely overhyped.

    Thank god i found Gamespot review for Cyberpunk 2077, they literally gave Cyberpunk 2077 lower score than Valhalla. Cyberpunk must be really buggy, because 7/10 is pretty low score for game that has been in development over 7 years. So as of right now i bought Valhalla and so far it's pretty nice. Maybe trying Cyberpunk 2077 in 2021 when they finally fix the game.

    This game bought happiness and joy back into my life. Ubisoft literally cured my depression. Thank you Ubisoft, so, so, so much! This is not fake or troll post. I literally felt like sht and this game made me feel so much better and so much more alive. I don't even care, if anyone believes me. Thank you Ubisoft, i mean it.

    What really captivates me in this game other than graphics and story is music. Absolutely beautiful ambient soundtrack. Just beautiful. Ubisoft, once again making Christmas time better! Specially in absolute trash year like 2020.

    What an amazing game. What I thought would be a let down turned out to be a wonderful Viking game. Ubisoft got my respect back for this one.

There's also different hidden cave entrances on Norway you can go inside and explore. It's huge game with so much stuff to do and you can choose to do whatever you feel like. I love this freedom and like in any Assassin's Creed game you can climb on top ofTruly beautiful open world, specially England, but Norway is stunning as well.     Last time i was as happy when buying a game was Resident Evil 2 Remake and before that Red Dead Redemption 2 and before that....umm GTA 5 i guess and before that AC 4 Black Flag, so that should say something.

    After playing this about 30 hours, i can say that this one is now permanently in my top 3 Assassin's Creed games list. Nothing will change that, it's so well done.

    Assassin's Creed Valhalla is basically perfect game for this dark November till January time period. There's so many different locations like snowy Norway or stunningly beautiful England. So whatever mood you want, it's in this game. I'm really liking it so far. Some bugs here and there, but nothing crazy.

    Assassin's Creed games is basically closest we will ever get to actual time travel. Visiting these old cities and locations is just amazing. Of course it's still fiction, but so is Red Dead Redemption and that's fine. Still close enough.

    Norway / England have been created pretty well in this game and some other locations too.

But after so long development time i was expecting something amazing from Cyberpunk, but after watching these leaked videos i had to cancel my preorder and bought Valhalla instead.     Extremely good Assassin's Creed game, i tried to play Black Flag again yesterday to see, if i like it more or less than Valhalla (because Black Flag was my previous favorite) and i have to say, i actually enjoy Valhalla more.

    I have played over 25 hours.
    Assassin's Creed Valhalla plays best on PC, but i'm sure it also runs well on next-gen consoles.
    I personally own only PC and PS4 versions.

    This is so much better than Cyberpunk 2077, it's crazy. I was actually waiting for Cyberpunk 2077, but it's extremely buggy and you need extremely high end pc to actually run it. Ps4 version is even worse. Thank god i bought Valhalla.

    So far impressions: Graphics are absolutely beautiful, one of the best i have seen in any game ever and i play tons of different games, story is good, voice acting is good, but real standout is open world, actually two of them, there's two huge maps. So far i really like it.

    Generally it's not nearly as bad some people pretend it to be, i have a feeling these people haven't even tried it. Watching two youtube videos doesn't count. Map is big, there's a lot stuff to do.

    All major issues were fixed in today's patch, whoever still gives it anything below 7/10 is not actual Assassin's Creed fan and your opinion doesn't count. It's one of the better Assassin's Creed games ever and if you don't like it, go play your avengers. Keep your hands off this awesomeness, if you give it 0 or 1 out of 10, you clearly don't deserve to play games like this anyway.

    This is best Ubisoft game in 3 years. I can't believe they delivered so well this time. Odyssey was big disappointment to me, so i wasn't expecting much. Yeah it had some bugs, but ones that annoyed me got fixed with patch 1.0.4. Apparently Cyberpunk 2077 is even buggier, so whoever whines about Valhalla bugs is just hypocrite at this point.

    Why lower metascore from 84 to 83? This is clearly in every possible way better game than Origins. Well whatever i guess, fact remains that this is better than Origins and everyone knows that. 83 or 84 doesn't really matter. After all "Days Gone" metascore is 71 and that's good game, so it shouldn't be taken that seriously.

    Seems like Cyberpunk 2077 didn't live up to expectations. I watched some gameplay and nothing looked extremely new or interesting. More like same old, same old. Bough AC Valhalla instead and so far it's really fun. Of course AC Valhalla isn't anything new either, but at least it's fun and less buggy unlike Cyberpunk 2077.

    Someone asked here why it has user score 8.0, well how about this, it's good game.
    Assassin's Creed Valhalla is one of the best PC games of 2020 alongside Half-Life:Alyx and Doom Eternal.

    Why so many negative reviews? AC Valhalla at least in my opinion is very good AC game. Way better than Odyssey or even Origins.

    I wasn't expecting much and this game managed to impress me. Would very much recommend, if you like North-Mythology, brutal combat and huge open world to explore.

    Assassin's Creed Valhalla made 2020 much better year, that's for sure. Is it NR 1 in the whole series? Nope. But it's in top 3.

    I didn't care for Odyssey nor Origins, but this one reminds me Black Flag so much that i just had to try it and it's really good.

    On of the best 2020 games.
    The viking related theme and good voice acting make this game entertaining and more than playable :D.

    This game has hardly any hardcore bugs, some small ones are expected in this big open-world game. But it's very much playable and runs well on any system. It's not even nearly as bad as Cyberpunk 2077, so haters should just stop their lies.

    Finished main story and i have completed most of the stuff on each map and i'm very happy with the game so far. Can't wait for DLC's.

    From modern ones easy top 4 - Black Flag, Valhalla, Unity, Origins. Good stuff. But i would like to mention Syndicate because it's so underrated, it's not best, but it's still fun enough and has some really nice graphics at times.

    Assassin's Creed Valhalla is a great-looking open-world game with impressive landscapes and cinematography. However, the checklist collectible open-world still needs some work to feel truly engaging, and combat is too tedious and too frequent to be compelling. As a lapsed fan of Assassin's Creed trying to see if I can click with the series once again, Valhalla didn't quite hook me as I was hoping it would.

    Assassins Creed Valhalla is a lot of fun and easy to sink dozens of hours into. It is the best entry in the more recent trilogy and genuinely elevates the gameplay mechanics. Content could be considered somewhat bloated still, but it is diverse enough and the setting and story is solid most of the way through.

    Sneaking is fun, fighting is fun, walking through the great outdoors is so much fun. Sightseeing too! Valhalla is free minded and could be innovative, but lacks skills to persuade its players about that. [Issue#308]
