    I think this is the best the AC-RPG combination could offers in term of gameplay and plot-wise. The combat feel more grounded now and while for most of the time it still feel very easy there are some occasion where it requires patience and precision. The enemies are less spongy and there are more variations than just the classic warrior-archer archetype. But, I gotta say the strong point for Valhalla, aside the combat and hidden blade return, is the story but it takes a while for it to come together, so I understand why some people feel bored and I don't blame them this is something that Ubisoft has to work on for the next installment. If you're a long-time fan and despise the new RPG style I won't recommend this game but I do encourage you to check the first civilization, Aelfred and modern setting story! It explains a lot of things that we don't quite understand in the pre-RPG AC games. Expand

    Really good plot, huge and detailed open world. Really nice graphics for a cross-gen game. For me loose one point for the technical problems at the launch.

    Ubisoft is one of the most important gaming companies ever. That's absolute fact and absolutely nothing will change that. They release multiple games every single year, every year. Then there's this group of idiots who sht on all their games, while at the same time hyping up companies that release 2 games in ten fcking years. Ten years. It's not me hating on "CDprojectred", hell no, i like them very much. My point is that without Ubisoft, gaming landscape would be incredibly empty. Imagine world without Far Cry's Assassin's Creed's, Watch Dogs, Ghost Recon's, Division's, Rainbow Six and so many more. There has to be some company that makes AAA games while these other companies makes two games in 10 years. How is it so hard to understand? Without Ubisoft there would be basically nothing, but endless multiplayer games and "Marvel's Avenger's" type of trash. That's not the world i wanna live in. I wanna live in world full of tons of different games each year. Of course there's also this bunch on sonyfanboys (again not talking about people who own playstation, talking about fanboys, i own playstation as well) that act like only games worth playing are console exclusives, that let's be honest are usually story simulators full of endless cutscenes, these are more movies than games, i personally want actual games ya know (and yes there are also good ones like Bloodborne.)
    Everyone acts like life lasts forever and it's cool to endlessly whine about some companies while waiting 10 years for a game from another company. All we have is 100 years (usually way less) and then it's over. Forever. So instead of constant whining, either enjoy the game or just don't play it, if you don't like it. It's that simple.

    AI: They definitely Improved the AI. Of course, sometimes they stuck on the terrain or run headfirst into a wall But they are now more creative AIs works together to perform some attacks.

    Openworld: Where to begin!! I always believe when it's come to build an open world UBISOFT knows how to nail it. The open world is huge and there is a lot of stuff to do in it.

    Disclaimer: If you are looking for fresh missions every single time. None repetitive game this isn't the game for you. GG

    AC Valhalla almost feels like "Thank You" letter from Ubisoft to all their fans that have supported them past 7 years. There's absolutely no question that i'm bigger AC fan that he could ever dream to be. Calling Valhalla garbage is biggest joke in years. Valhalla is easily better than both Origins and specially Odyssey. Valhalla is first AC game in long time where it has been really interesting to finally explore the open world. You mentioned how interesting pyramids were in Origins, well of course. But here the thing, they were one of the few interesting things about Origins. Most of it was boring empty desert. I don't hate Origins, but it wasn't as interesting as Valhalla. Valhalla has way better story, better character and better open world. You said that England doesn't have landmarks or places to explore. Kidding me? London? Stonehenge? Huge castles? Mountains in Norway? There's so much to explore. Valhalla is easily one of the better designed maps Ubisoft has ever done, just behind Black Flag. There you go. You said that you laugh at people who think Origins is meh, well i laugh at you saying that Valhalla is garbage. There's clearly, very clearly more people who like Valhalla than Origins. Valhalla was biggest PC launch for Ubisoft EVER. It had over 2 million players in launch month alone. Jor Raptor gets 100 000s views on almost every Valhalla video he makes. People very clearly like this game and many have said that they absolutely love Valhalla map designs. Showing your "poll" as some evidence is BS, because most people answered that they haven't even played this game, but you said that people agree with you. Hell no. Thankfully you don't get that many views, so i don't really care that much, but this one video made me write this, because it was just too much nonsense. If you can have your BS opinion, then i have every right to have my opinion about your video and point out false things. I have been Assassin's Creed supporter and fan over 10 years and i very likely like games that you don't even like, because you seem like somebody who hops on hype trains. You know very well that people who whine about new games are just nostalgia nerds who hate every game after AC 3. I have always liked Unity and even Syndicate and i strongly doubt you like them. Огорчила жадность Ubisoft, цены в игровом магазине просто не адекватны для СНГ региона, игра в минимальном пакете стоит 2500 руб, а они продают набор брони "Драугр" за 1250 руб - это 50% цены игры. Броня Берсерка из Ультимейт набора - выглядит очень плохо и стоит очень дорого.

    graphics are very next gen. even if there is framedrop i'm not noticing them. story is fun enough, what i enjoyed most was just free roaming and exploring. combat is pretty cool with different abilities and weapons.

    {Gameplay: Level Design, Combat Systems, etc}
    9/10 – Fantastic.
    The Gameplay was as i was expecting from an assassin's creed game. I had to learn the combat system, but as usual, it went into memory fairly fast. {Story: Plot, Ending, etc} 10/10 – A Perfect Score. The Story was ok, in my opinion, the more lore heavy one than the past installments within a few years. The ending was

    The ending was awesome, i didn't see that coming.

    {Narrative: Dialogue, Cutscene, etc}
    10/10 – A Perfect Score.
    The Dialog was up to the usual assassin's creed standard.
    The cutscenes were well made.

    {Graphics: Aesthetics, animations, etc}
    8/10 – Good.
    A few issues when it came to the graphics.
    noticed quite a few visual glitches and bugs while playing through this game.

    {Technical: Performance, Bugs, etc}
    7/10 – Average.
    The Performance was alright with a RTX 3080 card, on high settings it did achieve 60fps stabile.
    as i mentioned in graphics, i encountered quite a few glitches and bugs.
    I also noticed boats randomly jump into the air and implode/explode, a few ground clipping and me getting stuck in various objects.
    This might be the Assassin's Creed game i have encountered the most bugs in.

    "8/10 – Good.
    These games leave me with something outstanding to remember them by, ideas for single-player or multiplayer, clever characters and writing,
    noteworthy graphics and sound, or some combination thereof. If we have complaints, there are more than enough excellent qualities to cancel them out. I recommend getting this game."

I feel like I'm a Viking. the length of the game is also just fine. but the artificial intelligence in the game seemed a little bad. I don't know I found a little bad. I think there are no other minuses and it deserves this score. Expand

    Main story is surprisingly good and so are side activities. After Odyssey that was pretty terrible and i had me expectations really low, because i wasn't honestly expecting anything good anymore. This one really surprised me. Open world has also so much better design than Odyssey. More and more i play it, it's not even average, Valhalla is one one best in the series!

    I don’t understand why the game is 0? It's monstrous how one can put
    such an assessment. So much rubbish was removed from the game, for which they were harshly criticized ... people got stuck ... I remember the game turned out to be quite adequate and there is something to see, I put 10 to support from inadequate with zeros

    Extremely fun game, if you actually know what you are doing. If you are used to linear games that tell you what to do at every second then don't even try AC Valhalla, it's clearly not for you. This games focuses on fact that YOU will explore the world, YOU will make YOUR own journey. If you don't like these kinds of games, there's no point trying it.

    Classic AC elements like hidden blade / Hood are back and i'm very happy for that, finally.
    Story is from average to actually pretty good. Depends on what quests you do and what choices you make. There's lots of different weapons and hoods.

    I loved odyssey but this is probably the best AC game since Black Flag.
    For me, it's everything original AC 1 wanted to be.
    A lot of variety of the small towns cities enemy types etc.
    The game has a lot of enjoyable side quests and things to do in between the main story. Leveling up not annoying FOR THE FIRST TIME in a long time!

    Very enjoyable Assassin's Creed entry, i almost gave up after Odyssey because it just got boring. It had nice graphics for 2018, but story was lame and it had too much grinding. But Valhalla turns this ship around completely. Grinding is gone, older AC elements are back, map design is so much better than Odyssey, story is solid, voice acting is good. Would very much recommend trying this!

    PC version is great, PS4Pro version looks good enough as well, it's fun game, i'm not sure what's with endless whining or that's how metacritic has always been? Whatever, would recommend if you like AC series. If you have never played AC games before, watch some gameplay before buying.

    It's absolute shame that everyone can just make account on this site and spread misinformation, lies and hate without buying / playing the game. Steam is so much better in that regard and Steam user scores (while not perfect either) are way more accurate.
    For example Far Cry 5 has very low user score on metacritic based on 1700 reviews, while literally same game on steam has over 67 000

    For example Far Cry 5 has very low user score on metacritic based on 1700 reviews, while literally same game on steam has over 67 000 reviews and 76% of them are positive. That just shows that random bots can't make accounts on steam and write fake reviews, but on this site, they can and they always have. This 6.8 score in reality should be more like 7.6-8.1 but thanks to bots who give this game endless 0's, this score is lower. This usually only happens with extremely popular games and Assassin's Creed Valhalla indeed is extremely popular game. Another good comparison is RDR2 PC version score here and on steam, night and day difference and there's so many more like that.

    Assassin's Creed Valhalla is a great-looking open-world game with impressive landscapes and cinematography. However, the checklist collectible open-world still needs some work to feel truly engaging, and combat is too tedious and too frequent to be compelling. As a lapsed fan of Assassin's Creed trying to see if I can click with the series once again, Valhalla didn't quite hook me as I was hoping it would.

    Assassins Creed Valhalla is a lot of fun and easy to sink dozens of hours into. It is the best entry in the more recent trilogy and genuinely elevates the gameplay mechanics. Content could be considered somewhat bloated still, but it is diverse enough and the setting and story is solid most of the way through.
