    Disgusting practices by Ubisoft. Basically second EA. because of Ubisoft's behaviour I will make sure I will not ever play any of their games again. enough is enough. Ubisoft and EA destroyed something I loved. They destroyed gaming in the name of their sole interests. They do everything against players, they do not love gaming, they only love money.

    I have had all Assassins Creed plays and could always find fun in it. But here this is the biggest snot. One has gone away so much from the original play it simply hurts. Except good graphics are here everything for the tonne.     Assassin's Creed Origins is a great game.

    The graphics followed by the setting is perfect. I like most people thought this would be another terrible reboot for the series. This turned out to be much much more. The gameplay mechanics work well with each other like torches lighting things on fire and bay hales for hiding. The story (I wont spoil this) but it's pretty good, a few    Assassin's Creed Origins is a great game.

    The story (I wont spoil this) but it's pretty good, a few twists and turns to turn your mind around. The level requirements for the quests seem really high which brings me to the point of the grind.
    I understand its okay for RPG games to have a grind, but this one feels much more greater than others.

    The game doesn't have much replay value as is with other ubisoft games like Far Cry.

    The last assassin's creed I played was unity, I still believe it's the best AC graphically and now it's running fine on my 6700K+1070. ACO, as well as its predecessor syndicate, looks like a step back: illumination seems worse, crowds are much much smaller, some textures are eye-soring, only the LOD seems improved.     A great game with a story that although slow to start really picks it up after the prologue. The new combat system feels fresh albeit a bit clunky however it's not something you particularly notice during gameplay. There is a ridiculous amount of things to do and all of it feels worthwhile.     This game is probably the best looking open world rpg of the year. The combat although a little bland in the beginning got better with the new skills unlocked. Probably one of the best in the franchise. The main characters in the game are masterfully voice acted. But the biggest compliment I CAN GIVE THIS GAME is its beautiful open world

    great game so far, and visually its stunning, doesn't run too bad either, but the game crashes now and then, but that is the only issue, hopefully this will be fixed in a patch

    Essentially, the game is a nerfed down version of assassins creed brotherhood. they removed every good thing i liked about the assassins creed games. that includes dual hidden blades, assassin recruits, simplicity of gear, limited but rewarding missions, emphasis on stealth and above all combat system. i am not even sure to buy an assassin creed game in the future. very disappointed.

    A terrible pc port, huge fps drops and erratic CPU usage. Ubisoft can live in denial regarding its anti-piracy methods but it's quite obvious what is causing the issue. Paying consumers are being affected by this which is inexcusable.

    This game has a huge world with a kickass theme (Egypt rocks !!),the best AC protagonist after Ezio (never liked Edward :P) , meaning side quests and activities (if you have played Witcher 3,you will understand where the inspiration is coming from) and a combat system where you don't have to wait for enemies to attack you one by one....

    But honestly i would call this game an action adventure game with SLIGHT rpg elements ,not a complete rpg game as marketed coz you dont get to make any choices or choose dialogues from a dialogue tree as seen in a traditional RPG game.

    After AC:Ezio trilogy,this has become my fav AC game    … Expand

Moreover, the 100% CPU usage can cut down the lifetime of your CPU substantially and lead to BSOD and general system unstability. At present, this game is a credible threat to your hardware, avoid it.

    In closing, if you're thinking about buying this, don't. Wait until Ubisoft patches this thing A LOT or buy it on consoles, where it's mostly fine.    … Expand

    Great if a bit lacking story in a huge world with a lot of small details.
    Surplus of end game content.
    Side quests are somewhat comparable to Witcher 3, also a bit lacking but still a way ahead of any AC game up to now.
    Simplistic but fun combat system.
    Visually stunning.
    10/10 fstops for photographer mode.

Without a doubt, the world is the most technically and graphically advanced of any open world game ever and that says a lot with Horizon Zero Dawn at one point having that title.     The story is incredible but has its fair share of flaws that I think could have made it even better but this series is definitely heading in the right direction. In terms of level design, it is no doubt that Ubisoft are masters of that aspect with what is a experience that mixes and matches that best elements of past franchises e.g. tree climbing, underwater exploration and even naval combat.

    Ultimately this game is a standout in the series and definitely one of the best games of the last couple of years building on what was the previous two iterations of the series which were wholly disappointing. Nevertheless I think there is a room to improve in terms of the combat and skill tree which can be taken refined in the next instalment as well as developing on this new AC formula.    … Expand

    One of the best Singleplayer Games that I’ve ever played, this world is absolutely amazing and I can’t stop playing in this stunning shiny world of old Egypt. I’m so happy about the game thank you Ubisoft !!!

    Awesome game ! Love graphics, new gameplay, story, characters ... Buildings are gorgeons and huge, the story respects well the Antic Egypt, this Assassin's Creed is not as easy as the previous ones, and that a good thing ! Because on previous ones, you could kill more than 100 ennemy soldiers with no problem :')

    The game simply does not meet the expectations that really promised, I hope that during the development time, they would be more annoyed to improve it in the PC version, but it just goes like **** on my PC the BF1 walks in 4K Ultra Settings 40-60fps but this just barely goes at 30fps with stability issues

    I played every other AC game before and now I put 20 hours into Origins and I give this game 6/10. Graphics are very good, world looks beautiful and attention to details is impressive too. Combat system - nothing groundbreaking, feels ok, I dont like light paths after attacks, ruins mood for me. AI of the opponent is just meh... stupid as always. Main character Bayek is unfortunately dullI played every other AC game before and now I put 20 hours into Origins and I give this game 6/10. Lipsync is off very often and sometimes I beg for the NPC to stfu already, every minute you hear the same small talks of the NPC's, once I had 3 NPC talking the same text with little delay, it sounded like an echo. Performacne - CPU usage at 100% all the time, frame drops but overall not bad, I was able to run AC on ultra on my 4yr old pc. Is this game worth 60$ + 40$ season pass + micro-transactions? Hell no, but if you wait and get it for maybe 30$ at discount then its a fair price for the experience.… Expand

    It's an improvement in the series since they spent 2 years in the makings. Game mechanics are fun ( weapons and such). Still a lackluster experience overall, open world is filled with similar activities that you can grind if you want. Main quest line wasn't all that enthralling to me. Wouldn't recommend it at full price.

    Don't buy this game, only buy if you support shallow open world gameplay that we have seen many times before, items behind paywalls and bad performance. So if you do buy this game you are technically an enemy since your money is helping cripple this industry.

    This is the best AC since Black Flag/AC II, the year off from making a game really paid off. It's visually amazing, combat is solid, story is well written.

    I have to also commend the side quests, they actually have some meat to them and not feel like a "let's get this done asap to get back on the main story", and with the outfits completely cosmetic, you don't have to wear something just because it's better than the outfit that looks better.

    Yes there are bugs that seem to always be in AC games, horse deciding to float or character sticking for a few seconds on the spot, and normally this would result in me knocking a point or two off the review, but the 10 is explained above.

    All in all if you enjoyed Black Flag and AC II this is gonna tick all the right boxes.

    I am playing this on a 7700K/1080/16gb RAM in 4K 60fps with no problems on highest settings, as long as you know your drivers are up to date and you meet the recommended requirements, then you have nothing to fear and plenty to enjoy.    … Expand

    Game Uses 100% of CPU even on i7 overclocked , i think it has some coin minner built into game and optimisation in very bad for AMD gpus even for Rx vega untill ubisoft fix the issues it's a 0 from me

    Assassin's Creed Origins is one of the best game I've played this year with Breath of the Wild. Certainly one of the best from the saga ! I play it on PC with a 970 GTX and I have no issues.

    The best Assassin's Creed game I've played so far. I'm playing it on an Nvidia GTX 950 and an i5-4690 CPU and everything is very smooth on High settings. The game looks gorgeous and the open world is really huge and believable.

    Лучшее что выходило за последние лет 5, огромный живой мир, куча контента, охота на животных, гонки на колесницах, можно грабить караваны как на воде так и на суши, тысячи мест для исследования, битвы богов, арены, невероятная графика.

    Играю уже 80 час и прошел только 40% игры, за это время дажене понял зачем в игре донат и сундуки так как весь одет в легендарное и прокачан на    Лучшее что выходило за последние лет 5, огромный живой мир, куча контента, охота на животных, гонки на колесницах, можно грабить караваны как на воде так и на суши, тысячи мест для исследования, битвы богов, арены, невероятная графика.

    Играю уже 80 час и прошел только 40% игры, за это время дажене понял зачем в игре донат и сундуки так как весь одет в легендарное и прокачан на максимум с дропа от игровых возможностей.    … Expand

    Best game of the series. Best combat, world, quests, and 9/10 story.

    Silky smooth on my 5930k and 1080Ti, 1440p, Ultra High. Don't get it if you have a toaster.

    9/10 but Pirate-proof makes it a solid 10 out of 10.

I dont know and i dont understand what a perfect Game is, but this AC Origin is what is it, a great ( masterpeace ) open world game.

    Tanking performance to "protect" a game from being cracked is inexcusable. I will change my review after Ubisoft have decided to take out Denuvo and allow the game to be played to its fullest potential.

    I liked what i played, but I don't think a game which can't be played without risking your computer with well above the minimum requirements is worthy more than a 1 score.
    And people who has good computers should not forgive them this fact.

    I started an account only to write this - PC performance is terrible. You have i5? Expect FPS drops like crazy. Because of Denuvo + VMProtect used on this game you need a beast of a CPU to handle this. Up to this point there is silence from UBI on the matter of performance. DRM protections won't probably get taken out of the game so... 0. You have a i5 - dont buy this game!

    Absolutely in love with this game. I've played all main Assassin's Creed games and this one is definitely my favorite. The setting, the characters, the combat and to me, most importantly: the feels. Ubisoft delivered.

    We have deal with horrible performance due to drm, first on steam, then, uplay, then Denison and then VMware, running a virtual windows environment so the game can’t be pirated. Guess what Ubisoft. We bought this game and don’t deserve to be treated like thieves!!!

If you're hoping for a complete fresh experience though you might be in for disappointment.

    Assassins Creed Origins doesn't reinvent the wheel but it's a much more refined experience than some of the earlier games with various game mechanics receiving a bit of a tweak more thoughtful use of the open world and simply beautiful visuals. I opted to buy the PC version of the game and am running it at native 4k with the settings pretty much maxed out.

    Aside from a few audio glitches and the odd stutter I haven't suffered any major performance issues. Assassins Creed Origins takes place during Ancient Egypt and the game world has been beautifully crafted to give a genuinely authentic feel. The ambient sounds and the sound track further add to this immersion.

    The story feels a bit slow to get going and with so much o do in the game world it is easy to forget what's going on which in turn has led to me not really connecting with the main character like I would hope. Once you get going though things seem to flow much more freely and becomes easier to follow.

    The games controls feel tight, with combat getting a rework which for the most part works well. The loot system has also recieved attention and feels meanigful and worthy of your time. Theres awide variety of weapons for you to master and if you find something you like you can upgrade them so you can continue to use them on your travels.

    The AI can be challenging when playing on hard mode but I've not found them to be too frustrating. If anything I think they could do with being a bit harder to offer more of a challenge but all in all Ubisoft have done a decent job. There's plenty to do in this open world game and whilst you will find similar tasks repeat where ever you go it's not as bad as it's been in other Ubisoft open world games. Completing the tasks on offer are for the most part fun and rewarding which in turn encourages you to complete other that you come across.

    Assassins Creed Origins comes complete with a photo mode which you'll find yourself using as the game world is Stunning to look At, especially in 4k. What's good is that your pictures can be seen by other players.

    The RPG elements of the game have been implemented thoughtfully and give a nice feel of progression as you make your way through the game. Theres a lot of upgrading to be done and various routes you can take with each having their own unique feel. Theres a nice sense of variety in how you can approach various tasks and the thoughtfulness put into the games design is easy to pick up on.

    Assassins Creed is a series that desperately needed some attention and it's paid off with Origins. The game feels fresh, plays great, looks and sounds awesome and is a he'll of a lot of fun to play. It's great to see the series return to form.    … Expand

    Не зря Ubi сделали паузу, они реально сделали шикарную игру. Я думал что на старте первую неделю игра будет лагать, вылетать и просто не даст тебе поиграть. Но нет, всё круто оптимизировано. Игровой мир великолепен. Он стал больше. Он стал разнообразнее. Он стал интереснее. Сюжет тоже на высоте, игру проходить интересно. Боёвка стала интереснее, она теперь реально нравится, наконец то меня затягивают и ты не лезешь на толпу врагов ( у меня высокий ур. сложности ). Квесты тоже нравятся, исследовать древний египет очень круто. Система РПГ тоже радует, разнообразные виды оружий со своими бафами позволяют тебе проходить игру так как тебе нравятся, и выбрать любимый стиль. Маленькие минусы:
    - анимации не доработаны, пример: когда у тебя в руки оружие, допустим меч, ты нажимаешь ПКМ и у тебя моментально в руке появляется лук, это плохо. И когда у тебя открыты 2 слота для оружия и ты их переключаешь он появляются и исчезают на персонаже.
    - возможно что то у меня не так, но большая нагрузка на проц, у меня игра на оч. высоких с залоченым фпс на 45, у меня i5 4690 gtx 1060 8gb озу, при игре большая нагрузка на проц. и видюха на 70-90%, надеюсь разрабы патчами это потправят или nvidia дрова выпустит.
    Не знаю, игра очень нравится, вот хочется придраться, вот есть недочёты, но чёрт возьми 10/10.
    P.S игру часто сравнивают с третим ведьмаком, и действительно - игры очень похожи, но в асасине нет той души и атмосферы которая была в ведьмаке, а именно - диалоги и нелинейный сюжет. Ну пропустим нелинейный сюжет, так как если бы его делали выпуск игры затянулся бы, но боже, диалоги такие унылые, я слушаю диалоги только в основных миссиях, и то с трудом, остальные сразу пропускаю.    … Expand

    Technical stuff:
    The graphics are just gorgeous, the music score is epic, animations are fluid (as expected in this series), and it's mostly bug free (which sadly isn't the norm today).

    Changes:
    The gameplay has seen a couple of changes since the last AC. What I personally like most is that the mini map is gone. This makes the game much more immersive for me, as you don't constantly look in the bottom right corner to check where the next question mark is. Really great change. To make up for the loss of the mini map you have a little falcon that can get you a birds eye view of an area before you go in. The combat system has also been revamped and is more Dark Souls like, which makes combat more challenging. The old just block and counter style is no longer feasible.

    Cons:
    There isn't much that I could improve in this game, even if I wanted to. I would get rid of the present part, which doesn't add that much to the game, but I never understood, why they didn't scrap these parts. Also the in-game shop is unnecessary, but at least it's subtle and stays in the background.

    Verdict: 9/10. Great game and the new gold standard for Assassins Creed games in the future.    … Expand

    Definitely my second game after witcher 3 in past 3-4 years.

Враги уже не дауничи и не нападают по одному, а как шакалы толпой лезут.

    Running this on i6700k / gtx1080 / 16gb ram / 1440p monitor and I'm averaging around 60 fps give or take with max settings, for those wondering about performance. Not really great optimization but decent I guess. That being said the game feels very smooth and it looks wonderful. Even if I play on my 4k tv with some tweaking on high-highest and the fps is around 40 fps it feels stable. Can't wait to sink a bunch of hours into this bad boy.

    Update: So I'm about 20 hours into the game I can honestly say this game is amazing. The main story, side quests, and other activities in the game are extremely fun and immersive. The combat too me is very satisfying and rewarding specially when you get use to it. It's exciting. Plain and simple. Whether I'm shooting an arrow through someones head while on horse back, beating their skull in with a warhammer, or just sticking my hidden blade into their jugular I'm thoroughly enjoying myself.

    I know it probably sounds like im just a pure assassins creed fanboy, but im not really...I just like good video games especially rpg's, action games, and stealth. And this game is the perfect blend of all of them. In my opinion it is a masterpiece and a must play. A masterpiece in mechanics and gameplay set a in a world of beauty and intrigue. It doesn't get much better than this.

    10/10 GOTY

    I haven't played any other AC games, so keep that in mind for this review. But in my opinion it is a really good game.
    If you enjoy open world singleplayer games, i recommend getting this one.
    Pro's: + Beautiful world (it's also huge) + Cool fighting mechanics (similar to Witcher 3) + Skill trees & crafting + Stealth gameplay + Camel mount Cons: - Some weird bugs (I got stuck    I haven't played any other AC games, so keep that in mind for this review.     -Combat Lock-on system is really a big issue. While I am locked onto others, I dont sometimes end up getting to see who is ambushing me from behind.

    I was afraid to play too much but I decided to dive in, give this a chance. And I would happily accept I was wrong. The game definitely grew on me, for which I feel glad.

    Думали что Ubisoft выпустят очередную, уже заезжую игру? Не тут то было! А они взяли и выпустили один из лучших Ассасин Крид! Фанатов разработчики удивили сразу со старта игры, оптимизация, которую со старта продаж никто и никогда не видел в игре от Юбиков. Кто-то в компании подумал, что надо уже что-то менять и это к лучшему.    И наконец вышел долгожданный Assassin's Creed: Origins.

    Думали что Ubisoft выпустят очередную, уже заезжую игру? Не тут то было! А они взяли и выпустили один из лучших Ассасин Крид!

    Фанатов разработчики удивили сразу со старта игры, оптимизация, которую со старта продаж никто и никогда не видел в игре от Юбиков. Кто-то в компании подумал, что надо уже что-то менять и это к лучшему.

    Переработали боевку, теперь она не такая заскриптованная и прям таки чувствуется персонаж. Завезли РПГ составляющую, сюжет знатно заинтриговали, смена дня и ночи.

    Игра, по сути, несколько повторяет небезызвестный The Witcher 3, который мне ну очень понравился.

    Nothing short of Awesome. Visuals are great. Combat is the strongest aspect in my opinion. I have played many assassins creed games and after syndicate, i felt that assassins creed felt too familiar and kinda boring. This game reinvents much in a way that keeps the feeling but is new altogether.

    전작까지는 초반에는 재밌으나 중후반갈수록 전투스타일이 점점 더 지루해져갔으나
    전작과는 차별화된 전투가 큰이점이 되었음.
    최적화도 나쁘지않은편이고 알렉산드리아 도달했을때는 감탄을 금치못했음

    I really can't understand how people rate a game that has more than 50 hours gameplay a negative review with just 30min in game or as soon as they see a bug!!!

    Ok, as people like to know about the game, I'm listing some of my opinion after about 5hrs gameplay:

    + Start of the game and story is strong
    + Bayek, His act and voice is superb
    + Egypt, it's recreation and graphics are awesome and with it runs perfect on my 3770k, 980, 16gb ram so well
    + Music and ambient sounds are perfect
    + The redesigned fighting system fits so well and I like it (It's more personal maybe)
    + So many other gameplay options like: changing the time and people behavior about the time, their routine life, one key for parkor system and it's fluid animations, ...

    - Lack of sprint for horse, camel
    - No option for how much time you want to pass
    - AI and enemy behavior could be much better!    … Expand

    Finally, assassins creed that feels like RPG not hack and slash action game with terrible cut scenes. I'm playing on PC, no problems. The game is very optimized. Everything on ULTRA never fell lower than 45 FPS but mostly stable 60 FPS.     A lot of things are copy-paste from Witcher 3 which in books is a wonderful thing. My favorite thing they copied is the ability to highlights objects of interest. Collecting items became so much more enjoyable. The setting is mesmerizing. Finally, I feel that I got my money's worth when I bought this assassin's creed. I played only 6 hours so far, all 6 hours were in the first location of the game. Still, have two missions before it will 100% complete. Sub Quests are satisfying to complete and do not feel like a chore.

    Towers are no longer a chore as well but a tool to upgrade your falcon, I love Senu - the best addition to the franchise.    … Expand

    The best Assassins. It looks very promising and very fresh. The story looks good and every detail is fantastic, even though the fight mode is a bit rustic.

    Assassin’s Creed Origins improves from its past few installments in almost every way, yet it never quite reaches the heights of the games it tries to emulate. Its combat isn’t Dark Souls level. Its quests aren’t The Witcher 3 level. Its open world isn’t…well honestly, this might actually be one of the most impressive virtual spaces I’ve ever seen, so credit where it’s due there.     I wait long time and this is what i want as AC...adventure , mysterious ,....
    the fighting system is very cool and challenging....
    story is mysterious and Attractive......
    I dont play AC 2 and 3 but I can say this is very very very better than AC unity and AC syndicate ...
    I wait long time to the good AC and now I play...

    Sorry Ubi, I just don't feel like giving you 10/10. Playing on GTX 1060 6gb, FX-8350 and 12gb of RAM yet I get 35-40fps on lowest details. Sad even though you were given one more year to develop this game.

    The combat is challenging and thoughtful, and while the loot system doesn’t match up to games like Destiny 2, there are enough different weapon types and enough enemy variety to keep you swapping between weapons, catered to the situation. The RPG elements encourage challenges of their own, and even despite a handful of bugs, I desperately wanted to keep playing

    Assassin’s Creed Origins is one of the best open-world action games of this generation. The setting is quite evocative, the plot is engaging and there are also good endgame activities. The Creed is reborn.

    Game looks absolutely amazing, but this game isn't a slouch. If you aren't running a complete potato computer you easily be able to hit a solid 60 fps plus. I am getting a solid 60 fps with max settings on a 1440p monitor with my GTX 1070, a 970 just isn't going to cut it anymore these days. If you actually have a computer that can play newer games from the past two years, the game shouldGame looks absolutely amazing, but this game isn't a slouch. Like I said earlier the graphics are amazing, the atention to detail and draw distances on such a large map are absolutely amazing in this game. Really love all of the different loot and weapons adn such you can get and the expanded skill tree in this gme is really cool, def makes the game feel a lot more RPG than just an action game.     +Плотва...ой простите, верблюд всегда под рукой)) Топать самому не приходится.

    Даже не верю, что Ubisoft вот так взяла и координально поменяла игру. Давно у меня не было такого желания... чисто взять и раствориться в этом виртуальном мире.    … Expand

    Игра сходу понравилась, современный графон, оптимизация хорошая - на ультра все летает.
    Есть прокачка персонажа, крафт оружия и брони, и это отлично вписывается в геймплей. Русская локализация с русской озвучкой. Огромная карта с кучей локаций и занятий. Можно прокатиться на верблюде :D Минусов пока не нашел.    Встал в 7 утра, чтобы потестить сие творение. Как оказалось, не зря)

    Visuals are amazing using the autoconfigured preset which was high for everything getting 50-65 FPS on high settings even during combat. Using Uplay client to play the game not steam version. Uplay client built games just run better on Uplay and steam users always complain about more bugs on the steam version.

    I love that you get flashback missions not just cutscenes when something big happens like killing a high-rank enemy, giving you a backstory to the point of why your taking down this high rank masked one etc. the map is quite big bigger than any AC universe and if you wanna 100% this game then it will take you some time.

    Struggling a little with combat I'm so used to countering then killing like all the other AC games if you think the combat is simple compared to the other games your in for a little surprise!

    YES! there is a Helix credit system, so for people who don't have time to grind can buy in-game currency to spend and some weapons can be unlocked via Uplay credits which are free to earn via your Uplay account anyway. I personally don't buy in-game content at all and only believe that if micro-transactions are on multiplayer games it is unfair.... for single player games the only things you buy with your real money for in-game currency..... if you even want to buy them only affects your personal experience for campaign, not like GTA Online, Battlefield, Battlefront 1 & 2 Loot Packs etc etc so for single player content i don't mind but I personally don't buy content from any game I play!

    Apart from that 10/10 definately an upgrade for syndicate and the bugged monster Unity!

    what a polished port, runs perfect, graphics are just stunning.

    gameplay is so much better, the new combatstyle plays well and feels fresh. so many details, so much to discover, i feel like indiana jones.

Recent Ubisoft games were filled with boring repetitive side-objectives and stuff to collect without any context. That gave games a little bit of extra padding and added length. But that doesn't mean there's not a lot to do here. There's still a ton of stuffFirst things first, this isn't your usual Ubisoft collectathon, and I have to applaud them for taking a step in the right direction. Recent Ubisoft games were filled with boring repetitive side-objectives and stuff to collect without any context. That gave games a little bit of extra padding and added length. But that doesn't mean there's not a lot to do here. There's still a ton of stuff to do here but it all feels meaningful, a little bit like the Witcher 3. Apart from that, ancient Egypt is really stunning and exploring this beautiful world is actually rewarding. Combat is the best in the series and leveling up, whatever the game, is always fun and addicting.

    The resurrection of the seemingly exhausted series was successful. Beautiful and enormous Egypt is complemented by the sympathetic hero Bayek and plenty of modifications to the proven formula. [Issue#280]

    This killer holiday in Egypt is definitely no boring. On the contrary, it is a pleasant excursion to the times, when the sphinx had a nose, and mysterious killers did not call themselves assassins. You cannot find a nicer version of an Ancient Egypt in any other game, and up to it it’s entertaining. A modest family story affects the whole empire at the end, and you will forgive a handful of bugs to its charismatic heroes, as well as the fact, that you have played the same pattern so many times, just in another scenery.

When you’re admiring the city and a mounted patrol rushes past you, you always get that urge to step aside to avoid getting trampled, even though you know you can eviscerate them all in a blink of an eye.
