    My last civil war title was "Sid Meier’s Antietam." Antietam may have taken some liberty with the authenticity license but it was real-time, easy to grasp and exciting to play even for a novice. Unfortunately, my experience with ACWG did not measure up to that classic.

    This game has the best graphics and makes you feel like you are really commanding your troops.

    Beautiful graphics and game play. If you like tabletop wargaming this is for you. The game computes all the weapons and movement effects, no Beautiful graphics and game play. If you like tabletop wargaming this is for you. The game computes all the weapons and movement effects, no hit record sheets involved. It's fun to watch your finished battle over in movie play. On the short side Skirmish mode needs more soldiers and the campaign is locked in and you are only allowed to play one side in each battle not both.… Expand

    I wasn't sure what to expect from this game. I found quickly that i did not like it at all. I've played Risk games that went faster I wasn't sure what to expect from this game. I found quickly that i did not like it at all. I've played Risk games that went faster with drunken people playing. Campaign mode is terrible.… Expand
