Oct 8, 2014Good graphics, good sound and music and a very nice theme, aliens movie.
The gameplay is nearly perfect, the only problem to me, too hard.
I remove one point for some problems with the save system, also said glitch and some other bugs and weird stuff that I can't talk here because it's a spoiler. Also, it look like a dumb port, the menu suck. -

Oct 24, 2015This game is brilliant. It's the first game about Ridley Scott's xenomorphs that's actually been a horror survival game. In my opinion, it makes the Alien a bit too powerful, but overall it nails the vibe and the experience of the movie. It you enjoyed the movies you need to play this. This is the movie experience, in a game, purified.

Oct 11, 2014I admire its purity. A stealth game... shrouded in darkness, devoid of quicksaves, or delusions of safety.
It could never fully live up to its inspiration, but this is unmatched as a constipation aid. -
Nov 4, 2014Alien Isolation, is absolutely amazing, it's stunning atmosphere and faithfulness is at it's finest. The unpredicable Alien which suits the game very well, kept frustration at bay and tension at the front door. The game isn't perfect ( Some annoying android sections; Backtracking) but it's what I've been craving from an Alien game. If you have the patience and courage, much love will be found.

Feb 18, 2015The game was absolutely amazing. I was terrified but I kept going back for more. This is one of those games that I will never forget. When the alien is running at you and you know you're going to die it feels so real. So many times I kinda curled up in a little ball as it was coming to kill me. I would recommend this game to everyone. I cant say anything bad about it.

Oct 11, 2014Playing cat and mouse with the Alien, with the proximity scanner in hand is an amazing experience! Bravo. Polished presentation, good story and dialog. I love how challenging this game is, it doesn't baby you, it feels like your truly alone in the space station.

Jan 7, 2015It's the only horror game I've ever played that is actually horrifying. It's not perfect, and there are some bugs here and there, but it's a really good game.

Oct 20, 2014If you saw first film, you must buy it. This game is tribute to fans of the first film. Everything in film was designed as film. Surroundings, history, graphic etc. But one thing is a little bad. Bullets reflecting from Alien. But if you want horor game with awesome AI, which learn from yours steps and actions in the setting of the first film in the beautiful graphics . Buy it!

Nov 4, 2014An absolutely stunning game, visually and sound-wise. AI also features fantastic gameplay which is as different as it gets with the emphasis on being hunted (by some terrifying AI) rather than being the hunter. Unlike some players I found the length ideal... top game of 2014 IMHO :)

CD-ActionDec 13, 2014This game makes you crawl like a goddamn worm, in constant fear of being squashed. I was scared to leave the closet I was hiding in, because the monster was somewhere out there. [Dec 2014, p.68]

Nov 25, 2014The Creative Assembly’s game, however, is cooked; left to boil so long it loses all flavor and texture. For 10 hours, Isolation is one of the best horror games ever made, until a second, poorly made game bursts out of its heart.

Pelit (Finland)Nov 15, 2014Alien Isolation can be frustratingly difficult at times, but nevertheless it’s easily the best game in the Alien franchise since the original Aliens vs Predator. The fact that the game mimics perfectly the 1970s look and sci fi stylings of Ridley Scott’s Alien film makes the experience even more endearing. By featuring absurd number of “surprise” twists, Alien Isolation’s final act could’ve used some trimming. [Nov 2014]
