Oct 13, 2014This is not just how an Alien game should be made, this is how a horror game should be made. I've never been so at the edge of my seat while playing a horror game since FEAR, and that is saying a lot

Oct 14, 2014I think its a great game, had a lot of fun with it, it promised an "Alien" atmosphere and that's exactly what it delivered. Having seen and liked the original movie, this game was a great tie in. 10/10, would definitely buy it again.

Oct 16, 2014How alone, let alone other words, do Gamespot and IGN feel now? It's as if the reviewers there thought it would be some kind of mushfest with guns n the usual. Maybe they weren't yet born when Alien came out.
Class act by Creative Assembly, but a dud to be with Sega, who could not even bring a PC DVD Rom to market here in a continent called America. Good luck. Great game! -

Oct 15, 2014One of the best, if not the BEST game of the year, just finish the story mode in Normal and took me 7 days with intense gameplay.
This intense and beatiful game deserve all the merit i can give. -
Oct 15, 2014Great game! Music, sound and ambient are awesome! Alien AI is a smartest AI I ever seen in games.
A big thanks to the developers for this game.
The game is fully met the expectations. -
Oct 15, 2014What an awesome game! I have spent every night of the last week playing this game, with adrenalin running on high the whole time. My only problem with the game is that the amount of stress I feel while playing really tires me out.
Beautiful, cinematic, very few glitches, violent, scary, stressful...fantastic! -

Oct 16, 2014Incredible. Not for the faint hearted. Very high production value, sound design is especially amazing. A love child of Thief/System Shock2/Bioshock and Dark Souls. Get it (and IGN... do one)

Oct 31, 2014Must play! best survival horror since Silent Hill 2. The game spends a little too much of its considerable time building suspense, however the organic scares generated therefrom are some of the best i have ever see. The game is as beautiful as it is well made. best i have seen in years 10/10

CD-ActionDec 13, 2014This game makes you crawl like a goddamn worm, in constant fear of being squashed. I was scared to leave the closet I was hiding in, because the monster was somewhere out there. [Dec 2014, p.68]

Nov 25, 2014The Creative Assembly’s game, however, is cooked; left to boil so long it loses all flavor and texture. For 10 hours, Isolation is one of the best horror games ever made, until a second, poorly made game bursts out of its heart.

Pelit (Finland)Nov 15, 2014Alien Isolation can be frustratingly difficult at times, but nevertheless it’s easily the best game in the Alien franchise since the original Aliens vs Predator. The fact that the game mimics perfectly the 1970s look and sci fi stylings of Ridley Scott’s Alien film makes the experience even more endearing. By featuring absurd number of “surprise” twists, Alien Isolation’s final act could’ve used some trimming. [Nov 2014]
