Oct 8, 2014Aliens: Colonial Marines was a **** game, imho. This game has taken a step forward in the gaming universe by Alien. This game - stealth survival horror. Great graphics, lighting is perfect. Starting boring, but then I jumped up on a chair. At last a normal game in October :D

Oct 7, 2014The visuals, the sounds, the explosions... everything in this game is screaming quality. It's finally a game that makes me feel like I'm living in one of my favorite films.
-
Oct 7, 2014Wow thuis must the the most boring and lineair game i played in a while. The AI sucks and is fully scripted. Could have been such a good game with this graphics. And loading screens... Come on this is 2014!

Oct 7, 2014Simply excellent. It's a master piece it brings the film to life in way I wouldn't think possible it's like the ghostbusters game it's amazing tho it has problems but it never detracts from the overall experience I'm already looking forward to if they will do like how the original series did where the next one will bring in the colonial marines.

Oct 7, 2014This game was great, ign needs to get their head out of their a**. It had a great atmosphere, and an unpredictable AI. The motion tracker and flamethrower where great!!!! And it was one of the only horror games to make me literally jump out of my seat.

Oct 7, 2014The attention to detail in this game is amazing, it's what was missing from Colonial Marines (plus the graphics they promised). So far, I am immersed, I feel like I am in the living, breathing universe that was of the 1979 "Alien" movie.
As a diehard of the franchise / universe, thanks for making this game! -

Oct 7, 2014NICE TRY IGN......,,,but no.
As an individual who favours a good horror game over everything else, this is hands down an amazing thrill ride and worth your 60-70$. Creative assembly nailed it. Rarely am I ever immersed into a game on such an in depth level. Story, graphics, sounds, pacing all get 10-10. -
Oct 7, 2014Best Alien game to date, true to the first movie Alien that was released in 1979.
Who love the trilogy of Alien movies, is going to love this game. -
Oct 7, 2014No game can ever get 10/10, no game is perfect, but Alien Isolation comes close! Much screaming, jumping and tears to be had! The unpredictability of the A.I makes for a plethora of original tales to share between friends "This one time I tried to..."

Oct 7, 2014This game should come with a free box of diapers, or at least a clean pair of boxers. The graphics are amazing, the AI is a bit wonky, but I'm sure a patch will sort that out. You can tell that this game was made by a group of people that loved the original. This is the Alien game that I've been waiting for since I played Aliens on Commodore 64.

Oct 7, 2014A good game, to take a few scares, but in many parts of the touch of horror game is lost.
It also has a horrible artificial intelligence, the characters do not look very real, sometimes it can be lost in history. -

Oct 7, 2014Best alien game ive ever played without shadow of a doubt. Classic horror build up, **** scary and simply mind blowing graphics on the PC. Its not a shooter FPS, its a true survival horror based completely on the original 1979 Alien movie. Worth every penny!

Oct 7, 2014Well i must say i had my doubts after C.Marines but nicely done.
I'm 10 hours in right now and and having a blast! Saving can be a pain
sometimes but i understand why they did it. Not 1 bug that I've encountered
so far and the game is just beautiful and highly optimize.....might be the best
pc port ever!!!!!!!!!! Well after C.Marines and Rome total war they got this one right! -

Oct 7, 2014t's the horror game alien fans always wanted when the alien actually shows up, but unfortunately some bad ideas guy at creative assembly decided to fill the game with loads of really bad stealth encounters with random people with guns. And it sooo broken right now.
-
Oct 7, 2014Id say so far this game is not bad like some think. Its so environmentally amazing. The sounds the scares, the characters, and the story is sticking to its roots. I can say the cut scenes are mehh and sometimes the voice wont match its lips but other than that im having tons of fun with the game.
-
Oct 7, 2014Visually beautiful, creates a sense of actually being in the Nostromo due to all the fine detail. I would recommend this game to any alien fan. Player beware can be very hard!

CD-ActionDec 13, 2014This game makes you crawl like a goddamn worm, in constant fear of being squashed. I was scared to leave the closet I was hiding in, because the monster was somewhere out there. [Dec 2014, p.68]

Nov 25, 2014The Creative Assembly’s game, however, is cooked; left to boil so long it loses all flavor and texture. For 10 hours, Isolation is one of the best horror games ever made, until a second, poorly made game bursts out of its heart.

Pelit (Finland)Nov 15, 2014Alien Isolation can be frustratingly difficult at times, but nevertheless it’s easily the best game in the Alien franchise since the original Aliens vs Predator. The fact that the game mimics perfectly the 1970s look and sci fi stylings of Ridley Scott’s Alien film makes the experience even more endearing. By featuring absurd number of “surprise” twists, Alien Isolation’s final act could’ve used some trimming. [Nov 2014]
