Mar 6, 2026If you fit into a very specific type of player, PGA Tour 2K25 on Switch 2 could still be great for you. The core golf is excellent. It’s just let down badly by the packaging around it.

Feb 13, 2026PGA Tour 2K25 is a fantastic golf game, possibly the best feeling and most realistic golf game I’ve ever played. On Switch 2, it has so many compromises though and I can earnestly only recommend this game to a specific type of player: the Switch 2 gamer who doesn’t own another platform and never leaves their house. It has frustrating technical issues and is little more than a crappy demo when you’re not connected online. It’s impressive to see PGA Tour 2K25 run well on a Switch 2, but you’re better off golfing with this game on a platform it was actually designed for.

Feb 17, 2026In its current state and with how it is discounted quite a bit on other platforms, I definitely recommend PGA Tour 2K25 on another platform if you’re a fan of golf games. On Nintendo Switch 2, it is only worth buying right now if you have no other platform and can play while connected to the internet. Once the input lag and load times are addressed, it will be easier to recommend.
