    I played this game for around 2-3 days every login every popup to reward exp isn't done automatically like every other game but requires you to go into menus reminding you that you can progress just a little bit more by paying money, each 5% of a level you get at higher levels pulls you out of the game and back into Blizzards store.

    This is a storefront that breaks up your buying period with small gameplay periods until you want to use your wallet again.

    The worst part really is the high end cap, Blizzard didn't just get greedy they wanted to hook Whales and earn 2-5k per whale, Us free to play- players just aren't good enough even if we spend $20(which i will never.) they must milk Whales and what for?

    What have Blizzard made recently to prove they'll use this money to do anything other than buy another Boat for Bobby? Warcraft 3 refunded? Yeah.
    Don't expect Diablo 4 to be much more than this and perhaps they'll scale back the F2P elements but they'll never get rid of the high end now they've gotten away with it.    … Expand

    In itself, it's not bad... The stupid thing is that you're really driving the mobile groats rail here! A nice game up to lvl 60, then PayToWin fuc*s you... Grinding (Parogon etc.) in a Diablo game must feel smoth... Conclusion: Well, PayToWin suc*s unfortunately...

    However, much like Diablo 3, the game doesn't truly begin until you reach level 60 and the novelty of the second rate    The early phase of the game is mostly enjoyable.     However, much like Diablo 3, the game doesn't truly begin until you reach level 60 and the novelty of the second rate toys in that playroom are revealed for what they are (cheap imitations that are the equivalent of a one-trick pony).

    In the later phase of the game, the game is reduced to an endless, slow grind for mediocre rewards, all in attempt to grow your character into a ceaseless "boom engine." Dungeons never change (which is interesting, since Diablo 1 revolutionized randomized dungeons), the loot drops are a trickle of worthless items that force you to constantly disrupt the tempo of the game with inventory management, your character will repeat the same sequence of abilities over and over again for every encounter (raid, dungeon, rift, all handled the same), pvp is an unimaginative timesink, everything requires other people--there is no solo casual experience in the endgame, you spend more time waiting for something to happen instead of playing the game, even when you get a legendary/set item it feels mundane (which is fascinating since it doesn't happen often), the list goes on.

    What's most disappointing about Diablo Immortal is the stagnation. Blizzard has pushed the envelope with each new release of Diablo. From 1 to 2, the game went through a metamorphosis that redefined the genre; 2 to 3, after a difficult early phase, the game once again redefined the genre (in some ways for the better and some ways not); Immortal, not only fails to push the franchise forward in any way but also seems to take a few steps back from the growth that Diablo 3 showed after years of refinement.

    All of this, not even to mention the insidious microtransactions... There are better games out there folks. Yes, you can play this game for the hefty price of $0, but even at free, your time is better spent elsewhere.    … Expand

    It could be a great game but you can just pay to win. Blizzard promised that payments wouldn't affect gameplay too much but made a game where you never win pvp without donations, its just impossible to compete vs donaters.
    Also the game is forbidden for Belarus users without reasons, i can understand blocking Russia but what the hell Belarus people that are occupied by one famous citizen    It could be a great game but you can just pay to win.     In conclusion,
    I dont see myself playing this game for a long time because I know for sure that I would never be able to win in Battleground or be able to max out my character without paying $$$. And even I spend some money, let say a few hundred dollars, I wouldn't be able to come close to those Whales who can spend $10,000, $100,000, or even a few million dollars.

    I've played all diablo games from Diablo I to III (and waiting for IV). I love the original Diablo games because it's pretty much fair build-up-your-character game.

    To me, game is like sports, you practice and build your skill and become better (or find better gears) no because you have $$$. We all loved (or those who love) Blizzard games because they offer a fair game platform such as Overwatch, Starcraft, Diablo I, II, III and so on.

    I give 3 points because it was actually fun to play with about spending $40 (And I still like it somehow)
    However, I will stop playing this game when my 30 days daily log in reward (thingy) is over.

    The truth is that this is fundamentally incorrect. The microtransaction implementation and game design are deeply interconnected and critics are fooling themselves by not catching up to this.

    The whole gambling business is built on this principle, to create an addicting sensorial experience for the player to get her to stick with the game (be it a jackpot machine or a pachinko or whatever) and eventually extract the most money from her.

    Do you think the designers of these machines have at heart the entertainment element of these experiences or rather they are merely interested in shearing people off to the bone of their money?

    Therein lies the issue at hand. Diablo "Immoral" is designed to visually and mechanically entice the senses, and create a psychological addiction to the repetitive game loop but ultimately hinder your progress, induce FOMO feelings, and normalize the idea of paying to keep the dopamine spikes going. This is a predatory practice already disgraceful in the context of the gambling business and absolutely unforgivable in the context of games geared toward children who are particularly vulnerable to these tactics.

    This is why this game is bad, it simply is not a game as much as no one in his right mind would consider a slot or a pachinko machine a game. It's false advertising at best and a dangerous slippery slope other developers might feel like emulating in the future.     It would have been better to cancel this game- even in a completed state- rather than release it and damage the brand so irrevocably.

It starts well and everyone who haven't play that much, so that hasn't encountered the paywall, will tell you it's good..., until you meet someone who played it a lot and has encountered that said wall.     never before was a Diablo game so bad and boring,
    i found myself skipping the story, and uninstalling after 2 hours.
    blizzard used to make the best games possible.
    now a sad money grab.

    Diablo Immoral is the latest Gamble Simulator from Activision Blizzard. Trying to manipulate you into spending more money. It is of course full of lootboxes behind mechanics and has multiple layers of manipulation and monetization.

    I was not even allowed to play it because the game itself is illegal in my jurisdiction due to the gambling included ;)

    They misspelled the name. It should be called Diablo Immoral. A game which is only defined by arbitrary increases in equipped items should not have any p2w component attached to it, much less ones that are constantly being advertised in your face. It's sad what the gaming industry is becoming.

    The game produces graphical artifacts which make the game unplayable on many Samsung devices, including my Galaxy M31, which is neither very cheap or very old(a 2020 model), and this problem seems prominent on tons of phones like this. Please, don't waste your money on this. I thought nothing could be worse than Warcraft 3 Reforged launch, but this is it.

    What's the point of playing this game if you know the endgame is a money pit? But endgame aside, I have no idea what is going on after playing for a week. I'm just following footsteps fighting monsters, speaking to NPCs, upgrading my gear, tapping on achievements, and repeat. Also, I see other players, but I always get confused if they are NPCs or not!

    Elder rifts with Legendary crests is just a loot box with extra steps. core game play not bad but they try to force feed you the micro transactions.

    Played it on the PC. Was disappointed. It's a much crappier version of Diablo 3, except it constantly asked me to pay real world money. Controls are awful. Feels unfinished and buggy. I don't understand why anyone but children and mental patients would want to pay 1000's of dollars in cold hard cash to win at games. This is a disturbing trend in gaming. Needs to stop.

    I'm bothered by the bland story of the world's destruction, which was vehemently influenced by the online nature and spirit of the game or the inability to change the camera. The game looks and runs very well, and you can also adjust the graphics settings on more powerful devices. I'd leave the disdain for the online elements of Diablo Immortal to the eternally doubting and overlooking, because just as you can recognize a good poem, you can recognize a fundamentally good game.     It is undeniable that Diablo Immortal's monetization system has problems and makes the more advanced stages of the adventure unpleasant, but the fact remains that the Blizzard title has brought one of the best experiences in the action RPG field to the mobile market, and it really is difficult to find on the App Store and Google Play Store another free to play with such high production values. Diablo Immortal is an excellent pastime for those who want to complete the long cooperative campaign and, above all, could represent the perfect entry point for those who have never approached the series: even without putting their wallet in, in fact, it remains a pleasant adventure to live while waiting for the fourth chapter to make its debut on the shelves.
