    Been playing D1 and D2 since their release. When the announcement came out in 2018 that this was strictly on mobile… I didn’t have high hopes. This was all confirmed when users calculated the cost to max a character’s gear at over $100,000. This is absolutely insane. Blizzard is a scam. This “game” is a scam. It is a shame as some reviews have said the actual gameplay is polished. I willBeen playing D1 and D2 since their release.     Game is not bad, has a lot of potential but at the moment it’s still probably a beta, I played till paragon 10 and found loads of bugs. The biggest problem is the game is pay to win, if you are dual willing credit cards and want to show your friends that you are rich then this game is for you, for the rest 95% of the players this is a bad experience.     if they implemented that, that would be great, so f2p players not gonna complain about whales that can buy all of those bcs we can get it free by the grind.

    and more importantly, remove the capping mechanism
    I don't know what the dev thinking by adding a cap on the MMORPG game, as we can only upgrade our gear to LVL 7 if we reach paragon 20, and upgrade LVL 8 to paragon 30, etc.
    so how do free players like us to progress if u capped the only one thing for us to increase our combat rating???

    not only the upgrading mechanism that they add a cap, but they also cap our legendary drop for only 6perday, normal gems only 6perday to, side mission after 6 times u not gonna get any enchanted dust only got the white gear.
    so what's the point we playing the game if everything is capped??

    RIP BLIZZARD.

    Steer clear of this one! Even for Blizzard, this is a disgustingly cynical cash grab of a game. A once beloved franchise has been reduced to an ugly means of syphoning your cash from your wallet. I'm typically not a judgmental person, but if you go and play this game (even without paying a cent), you are enabling and contributing to the fall of the gaming industry as we know it.

    Firstly Diablo 3 was horrible, Diablo died the day they released patch 1.10 in Diablo 2, I member it clearly like it was yesterday, as I read the patch notes…xp runs reduced, magic find reduced, rushing friends in cow runs from level 1 GONE!! I was laughing my a$$ off… and within 1 week Diablo 2 was deserted!

    Then came Diablo 3 and we all know what a horrible joke that was…the best feature it offered (the ability to make real money selling items) was completely removed, removing any real reply value…

    Lastly Diablo immortal… while I don’t agree with most of what the clueless noobs on here are saying, I will however tell you how it actually is….

    Diablo immortal isn’t 100% paid to win but for you to get super strong super fast then yes you need to use money but you have the choice to play for free and I’m enjoying it at the moment….

    The gameplay is fun until you get level capped in zones (need to reach level 51 to continue main story) then the grind from 47 to 51 and previous moments like this become very arrggg

    While it is very pathetic that some items can only be obtained via money I wouldn’t have an issue with this if bliztards weren’t corrupt woman sexually harassing a$$ clowns…

    So as I stand now bliztards deserve to be shutdown completely even their main co founder left the entire company which I would of never done, I would of fired all the half wits and prevented this mess

    I would suggest to anyone that is curious on what they are getting involved in when approaching this game and reading this to understand this game isn’t bad but in 2022 it could be much much much much better

The game could actually be a very good mobile game but the immoral and disgusting monetization model just ruins it completely and makes for a miserable F2P (or "pay-a-reasonable-amount" 2 play) experience.

The skillsystem is drastically weaker than in other diablo games and the lategame is reduced to farming 1 2 minute dungeon over and over for gear and xp. not even gonna talk about the crests and gems. after 60 you are required to have a party to even play dungeons, so solo play isnt an option. adding another negative, youTo keep things short, gameplay is actually good, hence the point.     I can only hope that this doesn't become an entry point for other games to    I normally wouldn't review a game, but I've been a long time fan of Diablo for a very long time.

Gems are Itemization as per any MMO or ARPG that make use of a system to increase power of your gear once you've maxed it out. This adds another layer to increasing character power.

    Can I complete the Hell difficulties without every upgrading any of the 1 Star Gems or do I have to get 5 star gems to participate in that content.

    Is there a way I can turn off the constant notifications that barrage me while playing, suggesting that I go an purchase a box from the store.

    Do yourselves a favor contact your government or representatives, discuss how people can stop these totally egregious, predatory loot box systems. This will flow over to other platforms too and soon there will be no difference between "Phone" games and PC/Constole Games.    … Expand

    When Diablo 3 first launched there was a whole market system that at the time was considered a cash grab but I would long for those days over this business model. It is outright predatory with insane amounts of money needed to play the seriously post campaign.

    First game i ever played was Diablo 1, and it made me a fan of upcoming series. I enjoyed all the sequels and blizzard games since. But what is happening lately with microtransactions in Diablo immoral is just wrong. Blizzard this is not the way you should follow. The sooner you realize the better.     There is not much left of the good old memories of Blizzard playing D1, D2 and late D3 ... NetEase has done a good job with their mobile technology and the game is also a lot of fun at first ... but when level 60 is    Blizzard Entertainment has finally lost its 'entertainment' ... the game feels like a casino visit and has nothing in common with skill/character planning/tactics anymore.

    There is not much left of the good old memories of Blizzard playing D1, D2 and late D3 ... NetEase has done a good job with their mobile technology and the game is also a lot of fun at first ... but when level 60 is reached and the endgame comes, you wake up and see how they want to take your money without giving you anything in return ... other games you've played so far (e.g. Call of Duty) give you the option to shop - but you don't have to do it ... sometimes you see advertisements and sometimes you feel it's necessary to give something back for the free play, be it Battlepass or a skin pack ... it feels good ...

    And if you consider that this game was developed in four years, almost as a copy & paste of D3, what did they do with it for so long? ... 5 days for the blank announcement screen, the communication about "we don't sell gear" ... the very simple story and constant 'you need to be level xx' to continue ... the Mmorg style of gameplay as you head towards some cool 'save the world' missions with multiple people at once, wondering when the next solo dungeon will come so some immersion is maintained ...

    Just a pity ... also because it's totally open, how Diablo 4 positions itself against it - mathematically it will be worth it for Activision ... unfortunately not for the players.    … Expand

    I have no words for how wrong this is... i have played the game I am now Lvl 35 its very disturbing how many Real money transactions they have... it plays good I hope it shares all the best parts of itself. is shared with diablo 4. the RMT is dumb and makes it a 0 in my book.

    The micro transactions curtail any sort of meaningful end-game. You shouldn't have to spend money for the privilege of being able to grind for better gear. The game should be re-released for $19.99 with no micro transactions.

Blizzard uses pretty much every psychological leverage to pump as much money as possible from you and creates a system which is clearly pay-to-win, no matter how you define it. A person who dumps money into this game, compared to free-to-play can reach 2,3 or X times stronger. No matter your time investment into the game, you won't be competitive no matter what you do, that is unless you are pumping cash into the game like mad. Just watch any YouTube video where people analyze it, or try playing yourself and see, I sure have. Some clans in game won't even accept you unless you are a paying player.

    This is a dirty stain on Blizzard's reputation and it will probably rub off on Diablo 4 and any other project they will create.    … Expand

    Yeah, I have to agree with the many reviewers on microtransactions. You play this for long enough and you realise the sheer difference between you and the P2W players. No Diablo game should be like this, and it's placed a blemish, a scar, on the franchise. I even made an account here to review the game, as people need to understand what they're getting into by playing this game.

    I'm bothered by the bland story of the world's destruction, which was vehemently influenced by the online nature and spirit of the game or the inability to change the camera. The game looks and runs very well, and you can also adjust the graphics settings on more powerful devices. I'd leave the disdain for the online elements of Diablo Immortal to the eternally doubting and overlooking, because just as you can recognize a good poem, you can recognize a fundamentally good game.     It is undeniable that Diablo Immortal's monetization system has problems and makes the more advanced stages of the adventure unpleasant, but the fact remains that the Blizzard title has brought one of the best experiences in the action RPG field to the mobile market, and it really is difficult to find on the App Store and Google Play Store another free to play with such high production values. Diablo Immortal is an excellent pastime for those who want to complete the long cooperative campaign and, above all, could represent the perfect entry point for those who have never approached the series: even without putting their wallet in, in fact, it remains a pleasant adventure to live while waiting for the fourth chapter to make its debut on the shelves.
