    Complete garbage, the devs should be ashamed to even be associated with this game. The game is 100% pay to win. Unless you spend thousands of dollars, you'll never get anywhere in PVP.

    Just another monetization nightmare disguised as a "game". The hammer needs to come down on these predatory gaming companies. Diablo 3 sucked and i have zero hope for the next installment. There's a reason games like Elden Ring are such a hit because they avoid all the things gamers hate.

    It's impossible to reach the game developers about issues/bug reports, they will refer you to their forums and you wont be able to create forums freely either. The Event times are very terrible, Clan System is a joke. awfully bad. I cant imagine how they could think this is alright for 4 years work.     This game takes the worst parts of mobile games and turns it into the maximum. Exploiting the players in the most greedy and vile way possible.
    If we let games like this fly under the radar, the future of gaming is doomed.

    This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. Easily the worst rendition of the Diablo franchise to exist. Activision Blizzard really pulled out all the stops and chose to bomb a beloved franchise out of uncontrollable greed. I can say without a doubt this game isn’t worth giving a moment of your time. And that last statement isn’t even based off the entire dev team being a bunch of loot goblins who want to rob you of your worldly possessions and instill a gambling addiction in all of its underage players. That being said the game is a reskin of Diablo 3 with some new boss assets to make it seem like “the Diablo experience on mobile” and they did exactly what they set out to, they made Diablo 3 for mobile because there’s nothing new to do. I may have omitted a new feature in the last statement! PvP a feature any Diablo fan has been yearning for, for years! And blizzard chose the perfect platform to introduce it on because it became a perfect example on why the model doesn’t work on mobile with lag being an obvious hurdle even the blizzard gods have not foretold. I’ve also never knew how much I enjoyed getting pegged by people in the upper class of Diablo immortal, I was never reminded enough about the class system in our society so Diablo immortal is a great lesson on classism. In all honestly even for free this game is a rip off its more advertising then content, “just killed the first boss demon slayer? As a thank you for cleansing the world I’ve got the perfect thing for you (insert: $0.99 loot chest). “Killed your second boss I’ve got the perfect thing for ya (insert: $2.99 loot chest). Hear me out it’s not a pay to win game, it is simply a pay to play free game. At which no point do they want you to forget the 800% value item in the shop that you’re missing out on by being a peasant. “we pour our hearts and souls into everything we create.”- Blizzard’s company motto, if that is the case they must have sacrificed some psychopaths for this because this is nothing short of predatory. I think this was the final straw to make me completely give up on them as a whole, this game from announcement to release was never made for us the fans of Diablo it is simply a cash grab they no longer see us as players but as piggy banks and they will continue to learn how to shake more and more out of us all.     This Game sucks in most every way. The Gameplay is ok and it is fun in the beginning. But when you nearly reach Level 60, there is nothing to do or any good progress if you don‘t pay. This is so sad for a Diablo Game. There is no way I can recommand this Game to any Player. Even the Story (takes place between Diablo 2 and 3) is kind of boring.

    i signed up only for this one. It is horrific and at the same time very representable what Blizzard has done with this game. It is wonderful at its core, outrageous good to be played on your phone. But it is full of toxic, money-craving mechanisms that work on a psychological level to make you addicted, to lure you into micro-transactions.     I have spent 40 hours playing Diablo: Immortal since its release.

    The first 25 or so hours were thrilling, the gameplay and combat is fun, the visuals are really put together and although this was my first Diablo game the story managed to keep my attention most of the time. I really enjoyed the quick levelling up and how my skills and equipment got better, my character stronger. Working    I have spent 40 hours playing Diablo: Immortal since its release.

Working out what playstyle would fit my Crusader and how to develop the related stats was also fun. I did not particularly mind the shorter grindy parts in-between the story as they only hindered my playthrough insignificantly. However, after reaching Paragon level the game suddenly and shockingly quickly turns into a neverending and tedious grind, without much to do. Earning meaningful legendary gear also becomes frustrating and a long process, clearly aimed at pushing microtransactions on players. Overall, the core game is really fun and got me interested in playing Diablo IV, but I can only recommend playing Immortal until you reach level 60.    … Expand

But the begging for money didnt stop there and went deeper with each level. I stoped spending and played the game until lvl 40. Deleted after i saw what is waiting for players at endgame. Skip this one, Play Titan Quest on mobile or Grim Dawn, PoE on PC. Hope PoE is coming soon on mobile, Diablo Immortal is Sh!t.… Expand

    Aesthetically the game is a pleasure to look at and I was very much looking forward to launch day. However I very quickly realised how obscene the micro-transactions are in this game. It's a real shame as it had potential. In good conscience I cannot recommend this game; it establishes patterns, routines and repetitive behaviour and encourages you to spend lots of money on minor gains.     I have played all Diablo games extensively since Diablo I. While Diablo Immortal feels very much like ever other Diablo game that I have loved since 1997, sadly Diablo Immortal is plagued by the casino shop. This game isn’t P2W because P2W you actually know what you’re buying. Diablo Immortal is Gamble to Win because you’ll be spending money and the drop rate of high level legendary gemsI have played all Diablo games extensively since Diablo I. While Diablo Immortal feels very much like ever other Diablo game that I have loved since 1997, sadly Diablo Immortal is plagued by the casino shop. This game isn’t P2W because P2W you actually know what you’re buying. Diablo Immortal is Gamble to Win because you’ll be spending money and the drop rate of high level legendary gems are ridiculously low. Even if you are lucky enough, the upgrade requirements require you to further gamble to get more gems.

    I understand that the developers need to get paid and it would be ridiculous to release a game for free, the shop feels very much like a casino. To progress in the game and compete you’re required to spend real money in the shop but nothing is guaranteed. You’re basically gambling your hard earned money away. I have spent about $100 and have only received low level and duplicate legendary gems.

    If you’re looking to play for free or spend very little money, you’ll be stuck in an endless grind to increase your Paragon level only to be bested by someone that spent a bomb with daddy’s credit card.

    This is purely greed. It is disappointing for a company that bangs out great games go down this path. I would spend money on affordable skins and a monthly Battle Pass, but since I am not able to compete with the whales, there is no reason for me to continue playing because all that hours i put into grinding will only be bested by someone with a bigger wallet.    … Expand

    Have loved this franchise since D1. Played D2 on and off for many years. Played D3 casually since it was released. Thought Immortal was gonna be great, it was filling a story gap between D2, and D3. Well to make it short, the preditory monetization of this game made it the biggest piece of trash Activision Blizzard has ever released.

    Paragon isnt shared between characters, so no point in trying out other classes.     Everything is capped, so there is no way to grind and catch up as a free player, or even one that pays under 4 figures. Getting gear is a CHORE. You'll outlevel it right away, so you're constantly farming the same set piece you just picked up because its worthless in a day or two. Drops are locked to dungeons, another layer to the time bomb that will erupt when the player numbers continue to drop as everyone realizes this isnt Diablo, its not even close.

    It looks, talks, and acts like it, but it's not. Diablo is dead, so is blizzard. I honestly don't know wtf this piece of garbage is.

    A decent game that I was enjoying playing until I realized how Pay To Win the game and it's not like spend a few bucks here and there, its spend thousands here and there to have a chance to get items to have another chance to upgrade them. Yet another game ruined by corporate greed.

    5 legendary weapons per day seriously to be a playing killing game. After playing 3 days lv60(10), what you need is your credit card, not your brain, no strategy at all. Keep repeating your fingers releasing the same skills you’ve got in PVE, when you’re in PVP, Credit card is your most powerful gems and weapons.
    So, iv’e stopped playing this game for 2 days already.

    Initial impression was “Wow, impressive”. They even managed to get my money, as I thought the game seemed polished, with depth and potential.
    Too late did I realize it’s a cash-grab disguised as a game.

    At least Apple refunded me. Bye Blizzard, we had a good run.

    I'm bothered by the bland story of the world's destruction, which was vehemently influenced by the online nature and spirit of the game or the inability to change the camera. The game looks and runs very well, and you can also adjust the graphics settings on more powerful devices. I'd leave the disdain for the online elements of Diablo Immortal to the eternally doubting and overlooking, because just as you can recognize a good poem, you can recognize a fundamentally good game.     It is undeniable that Diablo Immortal's monetization system has problems and makes the more advanced stages of the adventure unpleasant, but the fact remains that the Blizzard title has brought one of the best experiences in the action RPG field to the mobile market, and it really is difficult to find on the App Store and Google Play Store another free to play with such high production values. Diablo Immortal is an excellent pastime for those who want to complete the long cooperative campaign and, above all, could represent the perfect entry point for those who have never approached the series: even without putting their wallet in, in fact, it remains a pleasant adventure to live while waiting for the fourth chapter to make its debut on the shelves.
