I'm speaking from 4+ months of experience when I say that Brave Frontier is easily the best mobile RPG on the market. It's very fun and so easy to come back to, with a plethora of new content coming out each month, and the developers are some of the best I've seen, very quickly dealing with issues and helping and rewarding players to the best of their extent to make the game as appealingI'm speaking from 4+ months of experience when I say that Brave Frontier is easily the best mobile RPG on the market. I'll admit right now that yes, cash whales sometimes do have an advantage over normal players in the game, but those are cases where an event is happening, and a certain amount of players who gained the most points get special rewards, and in those cases, the cash whales simply keep using their money to keep playing the game until they're at the top. But those are the only cases where cash whales truly have a definitive advantage.
The game itself is simple, but done incredibly well. The player is given a detailed and very helpful tutorial and a starting unit to start off, and from there, they're given gems to help them get units so start their adventure. To get new units that can't be normally acquired in quests, you have to use 5 gems - the in game paid currency - to summon one unit. The game has a huge plethora of units, so there's no specific guarantee of anything, and the developers host special events to give players better chances of getting certain units at certain times. Gems cost money, but can be earned otherwise. The player can earn gems by clearing full areas in the game's normal adventure, or by beating the last level of certain vortex dungeons, which are extra missions players can embark on to get specific items or units to help them get stronger. Now, people do say that cash whales have an advantage over normal players, but I can say from experience, that it is very far from the truth. Gems can be earned pretty quickly to start off, and gems are regularly given away in many different events. I've played the game for 4+ months, and I've spent less than $50 on the game, and I've reached the same heights as cash whales.
The game's difficulty does increase as the player progresses, and it can be very difficult. When I first started, I had immense trouble, but when I discovered the metal parade - a special vortex dungeon that allows you to acquire special fusion units, which are used to level other units up, which immediately boosted my levels and my units' strength and forms, and I was instantly back in action, and better than ever. The special vortex missions and events help players to progress rather quickly, and as long as the player knows what to do, they'll have few real troubles.
I can't give as good of an objective and properly structured review than other people, but I can give an honest opinion that's developed from months of experience, that this game is the best in its market and one of the best mobile games to this date, as well as future dates. It's immensely fun, easy to pick up, as fair as can be, challenging, colorful, and it is continuously growing and getting better. This game is a masterpiece of its kind.… Expand
