Aug 29, 2019It's worth taking the time to revisit Rob Thomas' creation once more. Veronica Mars' compelling fourth season offers a good balance of entertainment and nostalgia and is the most enjoyable and grounded since the show's first, and the final twist - while poorly executed - also transforms a prospective season five into an exciting prospect.

Aug 27, 2019To me, the question or premise of season 4 was, could veronica Mars continue on as she was in her small town? The answer was yes, but not without consequences and finally processing the tragedies in her life. As usual, it's a show ahead of it's time.

Aug 8, 2019Very good and I loved and understood why they end like the way it did. Nobody wants to see Veronica married with 5 kids, I'm tired of those people complaining about the end. Grow up kids, happy end doesn't exist in real life.

Aug 7, 2019Definitely a bait and switch for a VM spin-off w/o everything that made the show great. Bye VM

Aug 7, 2019Genius writing! The show continues to deliver amazing content - episode after episode. The character development this season was brilliant and a representation of real-life encounters. Bravo, Rob Thomas.

Jul 31, 2019The show doesn’t miss a beat with it’s classic jokes, stunning storylines and non-stop cliffhangers. The mix of new/old characters brings up intriguing dynamics. Controversial shocking end to season finale, it will get you in tears.

Jul 28, 2019So "brave and stunning" of all characters to stand up against those racists and misogynists. Garbage season with garbage writing, a garbage ending, and garbage commentary on contemporary society. Apparently death doesn't faze you as long as the guy was a misogynist. Watched the whole thing, but I am just going to pretend that this season doesn't exist.

Jul 27, 2019Veronica at her best, returns strong in the familiar settings of her hometown as a full-time P.I. new threats, new mystery, old friends and lovers and enemies, with some unexpected twists and a solid conclusion to the main mystery, and an exploding finale leaving us wanting for more. Give us season 5 now!

Jul 23, 2019I'm still recovering, but I loved it. Finally, a reboot that doesn't coast on the success of earlier iterations. I'm a long time fan, but I wanted material that would challenge me, and this delivered.

Jul 23, 2019Veronica is witty, sassy and an adult. This season was different, but also more mature and darker. A perfect return!

There are a few new characters that are life preservers in this murky swamp of uninteresting plots.
-
Veronica is back, as prickly, vengeful and noirish as ever, and television—or at least streaming services—is a more wonderfully crime-ridden place for it.
-
The adult intelligence is still there, and Bell and Colantoni are still wonderful together, consistently nailing the old-Hollywood, tough-and-tender style the show demands and demonstrating seemingly effortless comic grace. But Thomas hasn’t found a really satisfactory replacement for the show’s loss of teen spirit; and the grown-up romantic travails of Veronica and Logan, a significant subplot in the new season, aren’t as compelling as their tempestuous high school amours. ... [Still,] “Veronica Mars” finds ways to charm you.
