Genius writing! The show continues to deliver amazing content - episode after episode. The character development this season was brilliant and a representation of real-life encounters. Bravo, Rob Thomas.

I've been a fan of this show since it aired in 2004 and i've followed it throughout the past 15 years... series 4 was one of the best yet. the mystery was intriguing and so were the new characters. veronica was bad-ass and is such a role model for this generation. logan's death was much needed as it was obvious the two were not going to live happily ever after anyway. sooooo excited for season 5. Veronica Mars at its heart is the fight to right wrongs and injustice, knowing that bad things happen to good people and those you trust can break your heart. All of the actors have crackling chemistry, with standouts from the new cast as well as the old. Its a compelling journey to watch favourite characters navigate adult relationships as well as the mystery and toxic battle of the haves vs have nots in the town.

Every previous season ended with great melancholy of classic noir, and the ending of S4 is awash in a real ache that cuts deep. There might not be a happy ending, but I sure hope there will be more seasons with this amazing character. Season 5? Bring it on, Bring it on, yeah.

Although the ending definitely broke a few hearts with the death of a beloved character, the season plot is well developed and the banter fantastic. Ideally the character of Veronica needs to develop more emotionally and more relationship growth, but I assume that will hopefully be seen in the next season. Very happy to have this character back on our screens.

Veronica is witty, sassy and an adult. This season was different, but also more mature and darker. A perfect return!

I'm still recovering, but I loved it. Finally, a reboot that doesn't coast on the success of earlier iterations. I'm a long time fan, but I wanted material that would challenge me, and this delivered.

Definitely feeling the magic of the older seasons so far in this new season. The season has a gotten off to a solid start. You can definitely feel the nostalgia of our old hero Veronica as she solves cases as a PI.

Veronica at her best, returns strong in the familiar settings of her hometown as a full-time P.I. new threats, new mystery, old friends and lovers and enemies, with some unexpected twists and a solid conclusion to the main mystery, and an exploding finale leaving us wanting for more. Give us season 5 now!

The show doesn’t miss a beat with it’s classic jokes, stunning storylines and non-stop cliffhangers. The mix of new/old characters brings up intriguing dynamics. Controversial shocking end to season finale, it will get you in tears.

This season was the best since season 1 -- it stayed true to the soul of Veronica while bringing the hardboiled noir foundation of the series to the fore of the story, theme, and aesthetic. This season pulls no punches; Veronica is an adult dealing with very adult problems, albeit not always with great aplomb, as might be expected of someone who's gone through as much as she has. She's hostile, isolated, stubborn, but she's still the Veronica we love who would do anything for her loved ones and anything in the pursuit of justice. The season finale sets Veronica up to stare down the huge conflict that she's been avoiding -- whether to give in to the cynicism where she feels safest or to give her own happiness a chance. Expand

Very good and I loved and understood why they end like the way it did. Nobody wants to see Veronica married with 5 kids, I'm tired of those people complaining about the end. Grow up kids, happy end doesn't exist in real life.

To me, the question or premise of season 4 was, could veronica Mars continue on as she was in her small town? The answer was yes, but not without consequences and finally processing the tragedies in her life. As usual, it's a show ahead of it's time.

It's worth taking the time to revisit Rob Thomas' creation once more. Veronica Mars' compelling fourth season offers a good balance of entertainment and nostalgia and is the most enjoyable and grounded since the show's first, and the final twist - while poorly executed - also transforms a prospective season five into an exciting prospect.

Veronica is back, as prickly, vengeful and noirish as ever, and television—or at least streaming services—is a more wonderfully crime-ridden place for it.

The adult intelligence is still there, and Bell and Colantoni are still wonderful together, consistently nailing the old-Hollywood, tough-and-tender style the show demands and demonstrating seemingly effortless comic grace. But Thomas hasn’t found a really satisfactory replacement for the show’s loss of teen spirit; and the grown-up romantic travails of Veronica and Logan, a significant subplot in the new season, aren’t as compelling as their tempestuous high school amours. ... [Still,] “Veronica Mars” finds ways to charm you.
