Jul 28, 2019So "brave and stunning" of all characters to stand up against those racists and misogynists. Garbage season with garbage writing, a garbage ending, and garbage commentary on contemporary society. Apparently death doesn't faze you as long as the guy was a misogynist. Watched the whole thing, but I am just going to pretend that this season doesn't exist.

Aug 7, 2019Definitely a bait and switch for a VM spin-off w/o everything that made the show great. Bye VM

There are a few new characters that are life preservers in this murky swamp of uninteresting plots.

Veronica is back, as prickly, vengeful and noirish as ever, and television—or at least streaming services—is a more wonderfully crime-ridden place for it.
-
The adult intelligence is still there, and Bell and Colantoni are still wonderful together, consistently nailing the old-Hollywood, tough-and-tender style the show demands and demonstrating seemingly effortless comic grace. But Thomas hasn’t found a really satisfactory replacement for the show’s loss of teen spirit; and the grown-up romantic travails of Veronica and Logan, a significant subplot in the new season, aren’t as compelling as their tempestuous high school amours. ... [Still,] “Veronica Mars” finds ways to charm you.
