Feels like everyone just stopped caring. From the CGI (which is utterly abysmal in parts) to the makeup department, everything feels a bit… sloppy. The cast are still doing their best with the script and dialogue. Cavill is still great to watch. The worst part is it feels like parts of the story are just being completely glazed over, or straight up cut out. There are scenes where aFeels like everyone just stopped caring. There are scenes where a character is referring to a recent event as if the audience has full knowledge of the scene or they have suddenly travelled elsewhere with no explanation. These edits leave the episodes feeling choppy and disjointed at best or completely confused at worst. Not sure what’s going on behind the scenes, but whatever the cause(s) the end result is a messy end to Cavills time as The Witcher. Expand

It's clear to see why Cavill jumped ship, this season is as dull as dishwater. There is just nothing to keep you interested. Scrap S4/5 with Hemsworth and just put this show out of its misery.

It took me a while, but I made it through the first episodes. Unfortunately, I know the novels and the video game. I seem to be not the target audience, to put it politely. It is as if the writers never read the novels or played the game... or it doesn't matter nowadays anymore. Unsure about this trend. But it may work well for those unfamiliar with the game and novels. Snorefest. Struggled to stay awake for most of it. Cavill leaving this show is no surprise.

It seems as though the show has lost its identity or something.. I don't know, maybe the director or writers changes... Some characters were introduced that didn't seem to add anything of relevance.. they were added just to check some box in a list... And the things we really enjoy on the previous seasons were less present.. Yenefer is less pretty.. what's up with that..

The good about the show Henry Cavill The bad: The rest. Possibly the worst casting in any show ever. Pathetic how this show is shoving wokeness in everyone’s faces. Go woke go broke You failed again Netflix

Not terrible, but so many subplots and characters make it hard to follow. The story gets very convoluted as it goes on, but at the same time feels like nothing is happening. CGI is not good on some scenes. Fortunately, the three main protagonists keep you invested by making their conflicts palpable.

Better than season 1, and enjoyably paced, I see an unfortunate number of bad reviews by people claiming black people and people of color broke their immersion in a show that happens in a different universe with magic and monsters... Why would this universe speak in English, let alone

Season 3 pays off much of the show’s early promise—particularly between Geralt and Yennefer, whose shared scenes could snap any second from the romantic and sexual tension.

Based on the initial episodes, Cavill could leave on a relatively high note, thanks to a tighter, more focused third season, at least initially, than the second offered.

Season 3 of The Witcher has enough story and action to satisfy fans of the show. We just wish the characters had a bit more to say.
