Very enjoyable so far! Acting is fantastic and visuals are gorgeous.

Some issues in the first episode, especially in the first few minutes, but otherwise looking very strong and I'm excited to see what comes next!

I must say right away that I have not read the books. And that allows me to look at the show differently from the lore of the books. I think the series is very good, one of the best that has come out in the fantasy genre. Rosamund Pike as Moiraine is amazing. All the characters have not yet been revealed, but this is just the beginning. I think that for this reason the series was immediately renewed for a 2nd season. Each episode is dynamic with unexpected plot twists: you sit and watch and at some point "Aaaa, what the ...". I even signed up for metacritic to leave a positive review! Seriously, I don’t understand people who say the show is bad. Advise then what a good fantasy genre!))) Books are books, a serial is a serial, it does not have to correspond to the written books. The director and screenwriter can have their own ideas and thoughts, which they implement.… Expand

Terrible inconsistent, the writing is not thought through at all. As a standalone terrible, compared to the books even worse.Almost all changes for the worse and took away the coherent consistent metaphysics magic worldbuilding and replaced it with shallow childish ideological garbage. It's unbelievable how they butchered this show on almost every level. What the showrunners did was that basically they took the whole story and changed almost every aspect of it, and not in a good way. There is not a single story beat from the books that hasn't been drastically altered. BadIt's unbelievable how they butchered this show on almost every level. The tone of the show and the atmosphere feel cheap, the practical effects look too goofy, the visual effects are weak, the fighting and the spellcasting choreography look really unsatisfactory, there is no sence of flow and impact. The animated shorts they did were a hundred times better than the whole show. I wish they did it that way, instead of giving us that woke garbage. This is not The Wheel of Tie, it's just an Amazon fanfiction.… Expand
