I think that this series is the most valuable time that I invested in my life. This is the GOAT series like Francis Ngannou on UFC. Moreover, I think that PierreRey is a genius and his comment is the best I saw on the 50th last years of my life.
    Love The Mandalorian

Seeing Mandos flying about and starships cruising skies seems rather gratifying and shows the level of detail this show gets. One can only hope there’s big plot staging for Season 4 to impact the Star Wars universe. With where we leave this story at the end of season 3, I would think there’s a lot to spin off of these sets of events that could play big parts in main cannon movies. TBD. Expand

There are fewer side quests. A very large-scale main plot appeared, and not something local, to which the first couple episodes and the last one are dedicated, and side quests between them. The Mandalorians are no longer just a background and I'm really interested in following them as a people, their story. Yeah, this season should be called "Mandalorians", but I have no problem with it, I like this directrion.

I really don't get the hate about spicifically 3rd season. People complain about couple side quests? - Lol, do you remember seasons 1-2? There are MUCH more side quests there!
Are you not interested in mandolorian folks? -WHY are you watching TV show called "The Mandalorian" and doing this for 3 seasons?

I think "The Mandalorian", in general, has always been good and simple tv series, without claiming to be something grand or great or grandiose. Though being by far the best Star Wars product by Disney.

This season takes a while to kick into gear, but once it gets going, it's an entertaining ride.
More plot driven than the previous 2 seasons, this show shows no signs of fading and still remains one of Star Wars best productions in recent years.

(I'll Update this when Season 3 is done) So far Mando Season 3, is good, but not Season 1 & 2 good, those are masterpieces in their own league. S3 is taking a little of a back step so far it's entertaining and enjoyable. The main problem I see with the show so far is pacing and length; it needs more time to iron out the details. I take it Disney decided to cut corners in some places. I'm fluctuating between a 7 and 8, after S3 E1 & 2. I hope it builds up to something immensely satisfying.

Updating this after S3 E4, this is very poorly written, the episodes before including this are not leading to anything conceivable, while yes it is entertaining to watch, but it is not entirely enjoyable so now I'm going to rate this Season Pretty hard because we are halfway through the season.

It started as good aftermath but now it's just dragging to nowhere, I hope that every episode from now is 45 minutes - 1 hour and that the writing is logical, not firing projectiles into the water logic.

Season 3, Episode 5: finally an all-around good episode.

Episode 6, Uuh what?, What is going on?

Episode 7, Wow this is cool, a little rushed in some places in cinematography.

    Episode 8, Huh, not bad.

I was going to give this an overall 6, but I think that Season 3 is a 7, It is a step down from the previous seasons however most episodes are quality and Entertaining. It also Sets up a lot of different directions The Mandalorian can go into in an already pre-established universe.

So overall it's good, not amazing, not Perfect, just enjoyably good that's all.

Not the very best opener, but at least it has some cool moments, and very cute ones too. Anyway, I hope Jon Favreau and his team surprises us with great character development, because this first episode had a lot of exposition and othing we haven't seen before in past seasons. But hey, it's always great to see Mando and Grogu back in action!

It has its moments like the rehabilitation program, old characters returning and the final is good (but also a slight disappointment). I would say too much filler and too less awesomeness. This could actually be the end of Disneys Star Wars as Mandalorian was the last thing fans loved. I think I give a 6/10 as it is above average but not awesome. Now the final hope is the Ahsoka show. Despite glimpses towards a bigger and more extravagant story, The Mandalorian Season 3 ditches the show’s well-beloved formula for occasionally boring and downright frustrating adventures unworthy of Mando’s assistance.

There're two main fighting moments. the one in the beginning is kinda boring. The one in the space is dope if you are really into spaceships, but it could've been better. The pirate space station ended up doing nothing except for watching them past by while exchanging heated messages. For me, what saves this episode is the set up for the new quest and the jokes and the almost nonsensical attempt to savage the droid IG-11 Expand

This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. A step down from the first two seasons and the excellent Andor series, but not bad. The plot felt a little all-over-the-place and mcguffiny, but the re-taking of Mandalore fit broader lore. It was cheapened somewhat by almost all of the Mandalorians surviving. Similarly, I enjoyed the continuation of the Bo-Katan plot and Katee Sackhoff's (the real star of the show) acting, but I'm not sure that Bo-Katan's plot has meaning to people who didn't watch Clone Wars and Rebels. Likewise, audience members seemed confused by plot points about Grogu and Din Djarin elaborated in the Book of Boba. Disney needs to stop expecting the audience to Expand

Update: Season 3 was such a disappointment, dragged its feet the entire season, brought grogu back for no reason, and had so much potential and possibilities that could've came to life with this. but it instead felt watered down and mainstream. With all the BTS stuff that happened inbetween season 2 and 3, Hopefully by the time season 4 comes around that won't be the issue

This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. After finally finishing The Mandalorian Season 3, I can confirm it's just as bad as people make it out to be and that is something I take no pleasure in saying considering I loved the first 2 seasons and hoped I could get the bad taste The Book of Boba Fett left in my mouth (I don't think you can see my review do to Metacritic being glitchy AGAIN but long story short, I gave that show a 5). Normally when I review anything, a game, movie, or TV show, I normally go over the positives first and then go over the negatives but I feel like doing that here will cause you to misunderstand my opinion so I'll go over the negatives first. The first negative I can say about this show is that despite how the end of The Book of Boba Fett was going to be about Din redeeming himself after he removed his helmet in public but then that ended up happening in just 2 episodes causing the whole arc to be redundant kind've like how Din reunited with Grogu in the middle of TBOB. Another arc wasted was how Bo wanted to rule Mandalore once again but needed the Darksaber to do that so it was hinting on some conflict between and Din but then it was just given at the end of Episode 6 without a fight causing another arc to get totally wasted in the end. There's this plot hole in the show where Moff escaped and was still alive, and the show was hinting that a Mandalorian did it but then it was literally never mentioned again and considering he's the main villain in this show, this is a WAY BIGGER plot hole than you may think. The other villain: the pirates, are MUCH WORSE when you remember the captain literally tried to bomb the citizens instead of running away to live another day pretty much ending any sort of hope I was going to take the villains seriously if Disney wasn't going to either. The first 5 episodes are totally worthless since they don't mean anything to the story and Episode 6 is easily the worst episode in the ENTIRETY of The Mandalorian since it NOTHING in that episode meant anything for the story leaving me confused on what show I was watching. Overall, despite good performances and great set-pieces, I pretty much regret watching this Season at all and the sad bit is that I know this wasn't the writer's fault, it was Disney's since they green-lit all of this and just used kept Grogu here just for the sake of continuing to milk the franchise as much as they could and unless Season 4 is an improvement, I cannot under any circumstances recommend The Mandalorian Season 3. This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. This is a 3/10 for season 3 of Mando.... Season 1 and 2 is actually really good.

If this was called "Bo Katan show" and didn't have the Mando and Grogu in it, it prob would of been a decent show. But alas this is suppose to be Season 3 of the Mandalorian but IDK wtf happened between Season 2 and 3 for my boy Dinn to be a glorified damsel in distress throughout most this season.

I lost all hope when Lizzo and Bowser made an appearance and Grogu became a glorified teddy bear. The finale I was hoping would take some risks (Armorer as the spy) but typical Disney played it safe. The writing/story/chars took a total nose dive in this season and IMO this is basically a voice over paycheck for Pedro Pascal as he is not the star of his own show anymore.

Plot holes, action sequences that were directed by children without any logic, and plot that cannot make any sense to anyone (tell an infant to go get help in the real world and see what happens). I would give it less but the CGI is pretty good, and the physical makeup (alien costumes) are even better this season. The season lives up to every expectation you could have had after the sequels, Book Of Boba and Kenobi. The script quality is so incredibly poor. It's a wonder Season 1 and 2 were good. Now we are waiting for Ashoka, Skeleton Crew and Andor Season 2. I am very curious to see how they screw up this time.

I loved Katee Sackhoff as Bo Katan though. She deserves a better product to shine.

All aliens (the few there are) look fake. The coreography is stupid. And the pacing is horrible. And the fan service... As ridiculous as always. Andor was a good step up with plenty of room for improvement, but still, this proves once more that live action TV Star Wars needs miracles to work. Animation is infinetely much more flexible and the teams behind them much more passionate and skillful.

Fans have griped that “The Mandalorian” and lightweight series like the ones that Favreau and Filoni have made thus far are robbing “Star Wars” of what made it special and often, especially with a disposable throwaway, more-of-the-same episode like this, it’s really hard to argue with.
