'Scream' leverages the initial murder to build suspense without much actually happening during the remainder of the hour, using a lot of dissonant strings instead of opened veins to set the mood. Yet the real trick will be teasing out the suspense as the number of viable suspects gradually dwindles, as well as making the audience see these characters as more than just chum. Read full review

The performances are bland, robotic and uninteresting--clearly these actors were recruited for their looks, rather than their acting chops. And most of the main cast white, which is inexcusable in this day and age and completely unrealistic. Read full review

This show is amazing. I like how it has the dark humor from the Scream franchise, The acting is also amazing and they actually got a great cast for this TV series.

i love this show. not just because its funny, scary go thrilling but its not trying to be like the movies and the characters are amazing i just love them and i binge-watch everything

It's a very good show, however, there needs to be less romance and more action. I'm in Episode 5 and so far there have been only been about 4 deaths. Hopefully they do this.

Very good. Interesting, dark, and has you on edge with plenty of jumps and screams to be had.
One little thing, that people might see as stupid and I never know why I didn't pick up on it until another reviewer mentioned it. Is there one main character that's black??? Not really. It doesn'tVery good. Interesting, dark, and has you on edge with plenty of jumps and screams to be had.

A "quiet" series that whether you watch it or not, you lose absolutely nothing and doesn't add much. More than a spin-off of the films, it is a completely anthological series with respect to the original product.

Scream fans will or won't take this series as the best exact copy of the movies. Scream was just getting bad enough with their movie installments, but this series manages to be better than the Scream sequels.
