First, Sheila Zubrod, author of Flea, gives smart shopper tips while touring the Santa Monica Airport Flea Market. First, Sheila Zubrod, author of Flea, gives smart shopper tips while touring the Santa Monica Airport Flea Market. Christopher shows some easy ways to rescue tarnished metals and stained cloth, then Mauri Bailey, decorative artist, demonstrates how to spruce up metals with acrylic paints and powders. A fun trip to an antiques store with Christopher proves that if an item looks good in a gift box, it's a good gift! Wood is the next element covered, as Christopher explains the marbleizing and fabric lamination techniques he used to fix-up an old desk. Next, it's off to New York City, where Christopher takes the viewer on an inspiring visit to the home of designer Craig Seebach, who completely decorated his apartment with refurbished flea market finds. Sheila Zubrod returns with little more advice from Santa Monica — this time with the best ways for people to present their own items for sale.
