Kathy Peterson, crafts designer, shares some creative freehand and stenciling techniques usable in painting your own festive furniture. Designer Pam Hastings from Waverly Fabrics uses basic fabric rectangles and drawer pull hooks to make simple but interesting window treatments. Spiderman surprises Christopher outside of Marvel Mania at Universal Studios Hollywood for a quick chat. To introduce some do-it-yourself projects for kids, Larry Flax, co-founder of the California Pizza Kitchen restaurants, demonstrates how to make a variety of fun pizzas, and Sharon Lovejoy, author of "Root, Shoots, Buckets & Boots" talks about gardening with your kids by planting herbs in fun containers .
