    By the sixth or seventh time someone ominously intones, “It’s coming,” you’ll be just about exhausted. Some things shouldn’t necessarily be reborn.

    From the beginning, Heroes Reborn plays like fan fiction with its amateur writing. It looks slick, but that hides shallow screenwriting and characters.

As a huge fan of the first series (so much so, I followed 4 of the cast around London one weekend to get autographs) I was hopeful that this would return to it's former glory, Especially with the likes of Zachary Levi on board. With his character being the only one with any potential depth, I was only mildly paying attention to the show as it failed to grab me from the off. At the point (MASSIVE SPOILER). that a character transported inside of what is supposed to be a video game, the producers of this show lost me forever.     I watched with anticipation hoping Tim Kring and crew had taken the time to restore the depth and originality of the original 1st season, butI watched with anticipation hoping Tim Kring and crew had taken the time to restore the depth and originality of the original 1st season, but was left very disappointed; shallow characters glossed over and actors struggling to get into a meagre script with no substance and a very loose plot. They've had years to get this right and listen to the fan base but at the moment it's looking like a duck in the water in the mould of seasons 2-4. There is hope it will get better but without the heart or relation to the characters the original season had in abundance I foresee this only being popular with over exuberant die hards and perhaps a new teen audience. I will continue to watch however, and look for the best.… Full Review »

Do not waste your time reading critics. Remember that those who gave a "53" to Heroes Reborn were the same that gave Marvel Agents of Shield a "74" and Under the Dome a "73".
