Summary: The Laundry Business: While playing baseball in the yard with Gina and Joey, Dennis ends up breaking a couple of windows to Mr. Wilson's house and his mother makes him pay for them by withdrawing his allowance. To earn extra money, the kids start a laundry business in the neighborhood. But on their first day, disaster strikes as too muchThe Laundry Business: While playing baseball in the yard with Gina and Joey, Dennis ends up breaking a couple of windows to Mr. Wilson's house and his mother makes him pay for them by withdrawing his allowance. To earn extra money, the kids start a laundry business in the neighborhood. But on their first day, disaster strikes as too much detergent and starch leads to a house flooded with suds and ruined clothes. But all isn't lost for Dennis as he was able to retrieve a lost wallet among the clothes and is rewarded handsomely. That is, until he has to use the money to replace the ruined clothes and broken windows!

Journey to the Center of Uncle Charlie's Farm: Joey and Dennis visit the latter's uncle Charlie at his farm to find that the crops there haven't been able to grow due to a drought. When their basketball drops down the well, they go down to retrieve it, only find an unusual subterranean civilization. The boys befriend a young boy who says his tribe is suffering from the lack of water. They then explore the caverns in hope of finding some. Eventually, they track down the source of the trouble as a pile of boulders from a recent earthquake has blocked the water. After it collapses, the boys flee back to the village in a canoe and the rushing water brings them back up to the farm. The boy is grateful to Dennis and Joey for helping bring back the water to his village and quickly goes back down the well since he can't stand sunlight. Uncle Charlie is elated his crops will be saved and even gets to play on a geyser of water as the boys are amused.

Dennis Springs into Action: Mr. Wilson's new shoes are too tight and uncomfortable and Dennis offers to help him put some "spring" into them. He and Joey literally do so by adding springs to them and put them back on his feet while he's asleep. After he wakes up, he bounces all over the neighborhood, eventually getting down when some of the group provide him with a make-shift tarp to get him to safety.
