It is always beneficial to have a show not concentrate on just one character, which Chicago Med does not. By having a variety of different actors, the plot lines can vary from week to week.

I feel that Chicago Med is a far better program than the one featuring Chicago Police.

This is not a medical drama, it's a doctors drama. And by "doctors" I mean, hot guys in scrubs.

All those bad reviews, it's because they haven't understood the true identity of this show.

Chicago PD is one of my favorite shows on TV period, but I like this as well, not nearly as much as PD though. I felt it had good stories and exciting action and I really enjoy the characters on the show. I also love Oliver Platt, I think he makes the show definitely worth watching. I think it will only get better.

Grey's anatomy, this is more romantic than medical. ER was good but old - fashioned now. Night shift, the doctors are suffered by PTSD and i didn't know who is patient(probably doctors need help first !!) Code Black was quite good enough to enjoy, especially relationship between members of the hospital, and patients. Chicago MED, this has quite dry mood. Whenever I watch a medical TV show, I expect some kind of humanity between characters but I don't see anything in this show. But this kind of a sense of distance - I feel that I'm being a watcher of characters when I watch Chicago Med, like I watch some kind of documentary program- is paradoxically interesting and I've seen every episode from season 1 to now, season 3, Expand

Perhaps unsurprisingly, Chicago Med marks yet another routine entry and doggedly follows the same beats as its forbears, most notably the Chicago-set ER.

Padded with kids including an unborn child in medical danger, its corridors filled to capacity with the most attractive doctors this side of an afternoon soap opera, Chicago Med is not a subtle enterprise.

None of these [Dick Wolf Chicago] shows are groundbreaking. All have dialogue is lumpy. But for viewers who crave the familiar, there is something comforting about attractive people saving the day.
