    From previous shows highly recommended which includes House M.D; ER and Grey's Anatomy' s standards, this is at the bottom. I'm not sure why but the show enatails an aura of fakeness to it.

    I'm afraid that with the exception of "Chicago PD," Dick Wolf's Chicago franchise is a sorry shadow of the Manhattan originals. Chicago Fire is puerile, and the latest offering, Chicago Med is formulaic in the extreme. Thank God for stalwarts S. Epatha Merkerson and Oliver Platt, either of whom could probably have saved the Titanic. This may be a greater challenge.     Should be renamed, "Chicago Meh." CBS' highly mediocre Code Black is superior to the tired medical drama while soapy Greys Anatomy is far more interesting and entertaining than both. This new Chicago iteration from Dick Wolf is entirely paint by numbers television all the way but the crossovers with PD and Fire should provide a built in viewer base. All those hunky Chicago cops andShould be renamed, "Chicago Meh." CBS' highly mediocre Code Black is superior to the tired medical drama while soapy Greys Anatomy is far more interesting and entertaining than both.     This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. Expected way more than what I've seen. From the fake telephone calls right in the first minutes of the show, where the lady is having a phone call with the iPhone's home screen icons plainly visible to some other inconsistencies and bad acting.

    As a medical professional, I probably am a tougher audience to please - but I do expect medical shows in 2016/17 to be as realistic as possible and when possible, such as Grey's Anatomy and ER, where the actual procedures and patient related things were realistic and done as in real life.

    The trauma guy from the first show is right there in the back of the ambulance, elbow high in patients blood, riding on a gurney while doing CPR, and yelling the vital signs to the hospital manager I guess (as she should do something with that), and all that in his plain clothes while other physicians on call watch him.    … Expand

    This show is awful Marxist propaganda dribble. My lord they vote to turn the hospital into a for-profit business and they act like its some major crisis. I wish our entire healthcare system was for-profit instead of a welfare state crony socialist system, I'd be able to afford it if it was. Why do people watch this awful show.

    Perhaps unsurprisingly, Chicago Med marks yet another routine entry and doggedly follows the same beats as its forbears, most notably the Chicago-set ER.

    Padded with kids including an unborn child in medical danger, its corridors filled to capacity with the most attractive doctors this side of an afternoon soap opera, Chicago Med is not a subtle enterprise.

    None of these [Dick Wolf Chicago] shows are groundbreaking. All have dialogue is lumpy. But for viewers who crave the familiar, there is something comforting about attractive people saving the day.
