Carol & Keith Leslie live in #41 with children Kate and Jennifer. They have been married for 7 years and are big DIY enthusiasts. Carol starts projects and Keith finishes them.

Hilary and Alan Esson are in #3 with children Eric, Gavin, and Harry. They have been married for 11 years. Hilary is a part-time teacher and Alan is a surveyor.

Laurence assists Hilary & Alan with Carol & Keith's family room. Laurence whips out some wood paneling that they put up, then paint over with yellow. Laurence cuts out a stencil based on a Claris Cliff-esque design. They will be used on pillow covers. Laurence also photo copoies some plates and tile work and puts then on the wall. Andy cuts out some door hinges from zinc sheets, then takes a torch to them to antique them. Laurence makes another stencil to place on the top of the wall that says "Our Door Is Always Open" in Doric Scots.

Linda Barker is with Carol & Keith in Hilary & Alan bedroom. They cover the old wallpaper with the blue paint. The wallpaper proves to be difficult to cover, so a couple of coats will be necessary. They open a closet and get quite a surprise -- Party poppers and a poem of warning. They shampoo the carpets and dye 2 wool jumpers to make pillows.
