Summary: Ashford in Kent

Twin sisters live next to each other. In #10, Amber and Kevin have been married for 11 years. They have 2 boys. They renovated this house for 3 years before they moved in. They would like to see their living room livened up. In #9 Tracy and Bruno have an extension room that is very bland. They moved into the house 8Ashford in Kent

In #9 Tracy and Bruno have an extension room that is very bland. They moved into the house 8 years ago.

Anna Ryder Richardson assists in #9. They start by putting plaster on the walls to give it a more distressed, older look. They also paint tiles squares on the floor. The wall color is a terra cotta color and the tiles are a similar color just slightly darker. A fake mosaic tile pattern is done on the bottom of the walls with sponges. An existing cabinet is added to and painted. Andy creates wooden shutters to help cover the sliding glass door.

Linda Barker lends a hand next door in #10. They cover the brick fireplace with some fake tongue&groove. They do a yellow on the top half of the walls, and a blue-green shade on the bottom portion. The find some existing furniture and give it a new look with some paint. Linda has some Doris Day pictures copied and they use them on pillows. The room has a very New England feel which is just what the homeowners like.… Expand
