The journey and world are overall linear, but the fun is in the experience, and the story is good enough to deal with the stiff combat if you enjoy your tales on the fantastical side. The graphics were great with the usual amount of graphical pop in that has become the staple of Unreal Engine 4 at this point but the way the fabrics and hair move when in combat is almost mesmerizing and makes up for the aging engine. If you are wanting to try something new, I’d recommend Sword and Fairy: Together Forever, even with it’s issues it was still a good time but hopefully we can do a better job with translating the next one.

It’s some decent fun, especially with some friends, but one that players can spend a decent amount of time into but ultimately, get sick of the gameplay loop. Now, that may still be 15-20 hours in, and in many instances, that would be plenty of time for a game you didn’t pay anything for, but for people wanting something deep, they can get it here especially when it comes to the RPG elements. It’s a fun time, and one that you don’t really have to spend money on in order to have fun, but if you want to go a bit deeper than the surface, get ready to grind.

It looks great, has a unique theme, a fun world to explore, and is hilarious at times, all while offering a very solid, lengthy, and competent quest. Just be sure to know that sometimes it will make you feel like walking the planks with its handful of minor annoyances and issues.

Jurassic World Evolution 3 is exactly what you’d expect if you’ve played the series before. It’s enjoyable, visually pleasing, and satisfying to manage, but it doesn’t reinvent the wheel. For fans of dinosaur park simulators, there’s enough here to keep you entertained, but the lack of innovation keeps the experience from feeling truly fresh.

Exist Archive is a title elevated by its superb combat that remained enjoyable even after a thousand encounters. However, it doesn’t have much more to offer outside of the combat, as there’s a serious lack of variety in the overall gameplay. The repetitive nature of exploring one dungeon after another, punctuated by the odd event here and there played against my patience.

Live A Live is an interesting game that will most likely excite some players while losing others. The unique stories are great for short bursts but the lack of investment may turn off some. Still I love that we live in an era when lost games can once again make a return. Live A Live is certainly not for everyone, but for those that it does hit it is sure to please. Maybe it would have been wise though to release this game a little further away from Nintendo’s biggest RPG franchise to give it some room to breathe.

Zombie Apocalypse is a great addition to both downloadable services. It is mindless fun that can feel repetitive if you let it.

Destiny is a new direction for Bungie in many ways, yet familiar ground in others. The similar storytelling is only accented by the phenomenal gunplay. The boring mission structure is forgivable due to the cooperative nature of the game. It seems for everything the game does wrong, it makes up for it with something else.

The length of the game is probably its biggest weakness, but the robust multi-player makes up for the short campaign.

Kart Racing may not be the most original title in the stable of franchises, but it sure is loads of fun, especially with four people. The lack of online does hinder the experience a bit, but if you don't care about taking it to cyber space and enjoy NASCAR even a little, there is a ton of fun to be had with this peculiar title.

A solid DS title that uses a familiar game style that its target demographic is likely not to appreciate. The play time is a bit short clocking in at just under three hours, and with a lack of any type of multi-player or online capabilities there isn't much reason to revisit the game after completion.

The most important thing to remember about all of this though is that this collection was intended for the fans. Much like Atlus’ other efforts delivering this title the way it was intended in the beginning is likely an event for fans of the original games.

If you are a fan of Spider-Man, the game is worth picking up, but if you aren't, you might want to wait until the price drops. If you are planning on picking this game up, see the movie before purchasing it so you can avoid the spoilers. You have been warned.

Bleach may be a short experience in story mode, but there are plenty of other things to do in the game that could easily last you 10 to 15 hours. The combat, while satisfying, can become tiresome.

The biggest problem with Ferrari Challenge is the same one that plagues most racing games that choose to focus on one specific vehicle; lack of variety.

The lack of reason to return to the campaign will no doubt hurt the experience, but what is here is worth venturing through. If you are a fan of the stealth genre then I highly recommend checking out SouthPeak's latest title.

On one hand it does exactly what it set out to do: deliver a solid brain-teaser game focused on math problems and logic. On the other hand it fails at several game design choices such as frustrating AI and poor presentation.

Simply put Dragon Ball Raging Blast is a game for fans of the long running anime series. Its does its job not perfectly, but well. The game does make you feel like super saiyan at times, and then turns around and makes you feel like a green blooded Namek instead.

For puzzle fanatics, Pengi is a great value, boasting over 100,000 puzzles at only $1.99 in the App Store. It feels very familiar, reminding me of the blocks-on-ice puzzles in Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess and other games.

I was pleasantly surprised at how much fun I could have with a game if I stopped worrying about everything it didn't do, and just enjoyed what it did. Even with its problems Rise of Cobra is an entertaining, and fun experience for fans of the subject matter.

If you are a Black Ops nut, then I'm sure you will get your money's worth. If you are the sort of person who just dips in and out of Black Ops, you might be better served by waiting for the pack to go on sale in a few months time.

If you liked Atelier Rorona and are looking for a similar experience with a few upgrades, you will really enjoy this game, especially if you enjoyed the characters in Rorona...Keep in mind, if fetch quests are not your thing, or if you can't stand bubbly characters, you may want to steer clear of this game.
