Tom Clancy's H.A.W.X. 2 is really a case of more of the same. Fans of the original will enjoy the minor tweaks scattered around, but newcomers likely won't find anything to set this game apart from others in the genre.- ZTGD

A solid movie tie-in game with a few setbacks. While light years beyond the mess that was Order of the Phoenix, it still needs a few tweaks to be considered a great game.- ZTGD

SingStar Queen is a great addition to the band-specific discs that Sony continues to release. If you are a fan the 25 songs on the disc are more than enough to warrant a purchase.- ZTGD

For the small asking price, Sugar & Spice and Not So Nice is a great excuse to go back and revisit a little gem of a game. There are a few hours worth of gameplay there and the gags are more than worth it.- ZTGD

Rapala Fishing Frenzy 2009 is probably the best fishing game I have encountered in quite some time. It has inventive controls, superb visuals (minus the slowdown) and enough challenges to keep you occupied for months to come. The lack of true online really dampens the experience though and makes me wonder what could have been.- ZTGD

FUEL has a ton of potential, and moments of brilliance stashed under its rough exterior. The problems are hard to ignore though, and unless you have a ton of time to dedicate to it, the races will likely grow boring long before you uncover half of this massive world.- ZTGD

Mixing the classic crayon phenomenon with Wii remote interactivity is a brilliant idea, and one that will provide fun for kids and parents. The staggering difficulty curve makes playing on anything harder than easy a chore for younger gamers, and the levels suffer from being a bit too long for their own good, but everything else is a unique adventure that younger gamers will eat up.- ZTGD

King Arthur 2 surprised me with its approach to the RTS genre by adding such an in-depth story mechanic. Although this may become a bit boring for some players, it certainly adds to the story. I'm not sure if it is for everyone, but fans of the previous game, and of the genre in general, will find this an enjoyable romp, with plenty to keep them occupied for many, many hours.- ZTGD

There are a lot of things to love about PowerUp Forever: the trippy visuals, addictive old-school style of gameplay, but there are also some things that tend to weight it down. Lack of multi-player, repetitive gameplay and generic sound effects keep this one from being a classic in its genre. However, if you are a fan of games like Mutant Storm and Geometry Wars then PowerUp Forever is likely to satisfy your need for twin-stick shooters- ZTGD

I wish the game had focused more on interesting locales and elements like the first game, although the improved combat is definitely appreciated. If you loved the first game Dog Days is worth checking out. The online package is worth the price of admission alone, but if you are only interested in the single-player portion you may be better off with a weekend rental.- ZTGD

Every important piece of Defenders of Ardania is individually well done. The factions are similar enough to feel balanced, while different enough to maintain distinct identities. The models are attractive; their designs innovative enough to avoid an entirely generic feel, and even the levels in which they appear are interesting.- ZTGD

Tokyo Beat Down is the definition of quirky. The narrow appeal of both the outlandish storyline and repetitive gameplay will appeal to such a limited audience it is no wonder that Atlus is the one publishing it.- ZTGD

Nobody Wants to Die feels like a triumph of noir-inspired gaming. Its meticulous attention to detail, from the visual aesthetics to the great narrative, makes it a standout title for fans of the genre. The game successfully merges the best elements of classic noir with modern gaming sensibilities, while the game has a bad habit of giving too much help to the player; Nobody Wants to Die is a game that should not be missed by fans of the genre.- ZTGD

Puppeteer is an odd game. There is no better way to put it, but it is also unique and charming in its presentation. I found the platforming and combat a bit rudimentary for my tastes, but I still couldn’t stop pressing forward to see what the next level looked like.- ZTGD

Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League is full of potential. The game is a blast to play. The story is one of the best in a video game in a while, and there is a lot here for those that enjoy looter shooters. This almost feels like two games in one. I loved the campaign, but had little interest in the end game, while others will likely breeze through the story just to grind. I hope they continue the flow of content for both audiences because I would love to revisit it down the line. Also patch in that offline mode ASAP. Being mid boss fight for the server to disconnect is a huge bummer and makes me not want to play.- ZTGD

Where the game does really shine is in its presentation. At no point did I feel like I was playing anything other than a classic 8-bit game. The look, the sounds, and even the crazy storyline about a boy and his frog, the game is steeped in nostalgia, and remains faithful to the games of that era, but I cannot comment on how this stacks up as a remake of the original, having never played it. But that is where one of my problems I had with the game surfaced. Due to it being so retro in its style, the game story and dialogue just felt daft. At no point was I invested in the story of Jason and Fred, and had no interest in reading all of the text that was presented to me. Some people may actually take that as being true to the original, but for me it felt like a disconnect. But at the end of the day, as long as the gameplay is enjoyable, that is all that matters.- ZTGD
