Giga Wrecker Alt. is a game that teeters on the brink of a great experience. It has some wonderful ideas that are hampered by the lackluster controls and frustrating execution. The world and its surroundings are great, the ideas are fantastic, but it just never hits that sweet spot of being something I felt compelled to keep coming back to. I struggled to get past some parts while others were a pure joy to play. It is the definition of mixed emotions.

I wish the game had focused more on interesting locales and elements like the first game, although the improved combat is definitely appreciated. If you loved the first game Dog Days is worth checking out. The online package is worth the price of admission alone, but if you are only interested in the single-player portion you may be better off with a weekend rental.

Madden NFL 24 is a solid entry that simply doesn’t do enough to push it forward. I feel like EA really needs to take a year off, do a roster update, and build an entirely new game. This copy paste stuff continues to bring down the advancements made. It is wild that we say the same stuff every year and each year it rarely changes. Like most people though, I play it every time because there simply isn’t another option, and it isn’t a bad game, far from it, it just feels on cruise control. I want the game to get better, and it does, just not enough to warrant yearly iterations.

Sure, diehard wrestling fans will enjoy the fluid gameplay and the chance to play as some of their favorite TNA stars, however more casual fans will become quickly dissatisfied with the lack of variety.

Gas Guzzlers Extreme might be a small time release, but it’s full of pure, unadulterated, racing heart.

If you take the time to learn all of the nuances of the game it is truly rewarding for the price and portability Aedis Eclipse delivers; if you can manage to understand what it is trying to deliver that is.

Presentation may be lacking, but as a whole Pool Hall Pro is a decent game of billiards for a reasonable price. The motion controls work well enough that you won't be wrestling with them, and the sheer amount of modes make up for a lot of the other shortcomings.

The bottom line here is this: if you love the series, you have likely already played it. If you don't own a smartphone, and have never experienced Angry Birds, this collection will fit the bill. The sheer amount of content and quality in the package is undeniable.

Ultimately, I’d sum up Master Reboot by suggesting that it has, at its core, a great premise – a premise that is undermined by its own sloppiness in terms of graphics and game play mechanics.

Doc Clock is a decent game with some frustrating parts due to the camera and wonky movement.

If you're interested in some basic platform action, or you're looking for a game with a stereotype-defying female protagonist, you can't go wrong with Pixeline & the Jungle Treasure.

All in all, Romancing SaGa 2 is a decent RPG with some very interesting mechanics that were revolutionary for its time. There’s some issues here and there with the old style of game play where players aren’t told where to go or what to do. Then on top of all that, the game is not going to go easy on you. This one is for the fans of this style of game and for people looking for a bit of nostalgia. For those, you’ll find a finely crafted RPG with some interesting mechanics. At the same time, the price is a bit steep for a 25 year old game at this point. I would still wait for a slight sale.

Orgarhythm is one of those games that seems like it was created by an evil genius who had all these competing ideas dance-battling on old refrigerator boxes in his crazy old noggin and he finally just snapped and said "You know what, F all this noise. We're just gonna throw it all in there and go eat some frozen yogurt." As a result, it is completely unlike anything else you will ever play. Strictly for that reason, I would recommend giving the game a look if you're even the least bit interested in any of the genres within. Just make sure that you're prepared for a fast, frantic, sometimes convoluted but always fair new experience that will test your skills and your rhythm in equal measure.

In the end, Mable and the Wood isn’t a bad game. It takes a familiar concept and throws in something different with combat and traversal, and it works for the most part. I just think some of the execution and sense of direction was handled poorly. I almost expected after beating a boss that I would have to spend 20 minutes trying to figure out where to go next after getting a new form to use, and that’s not ideal. People looking for something different will find it here, just know that it comes with some issues, but altogether, it is a decent experience.

Little King’s Story is not the worst port to have ever existed. However, the myriad problems that exist in the game mean the overall experience playing it on PC is badly tarnished. Essentially, it’s just really, really annoying. At the moment it is a bit of a broken mess and, until these issues are addressed anyone wishing to experience this title would do better to revisit the Wii original than waste time or money here.

Apart from the occasional distraction of a mini-game such as diffusing a bomb or the excellent cut scenes this game is poorly constructed even for a budget title.

Die hard fans of the franchise will no doubt be pleased with it, but the lack of any real new gameplay elements means that, if you are new to the series, you may as well buy the first game.

Tornado Outbreak is a fun, unique romp that will intrigue just about any gamer. The quirky story remains entertaining enough to keep you occupied, while the simplistic gameplay will keep you interested throughout its duration. The short campaign is probably my biggest concern, but with the ability to go back through older levels with your new powers is a definite bonus.

There is little to complain about with Spellspire. It’s a jolly little game, with a colorful art style and some nice touches of humor. But this is a word puzzle game; if you’re not great with word games like Boggle or Scrabble, then it may not be the game for you. But at $9.99, if you fancy taking your brain for a workout, instead of your fingers, then Spellspire is the perfect distraction.

Midway has done a nice job of correcting most of the mistakes from last year's game, but the sore visuals and lack of overall polish keep this game from achieving greatness.

Feels kind of like a $30 title in a $60 dollar package. While the gameplay is solid, the shallow modes, disappointing lack of polish, and overall mediocrity really prevent the game from reaching the high quality of previous NASCAR games.

It seems like Breakpoint saw the Assassin’s Creeds, the Far Cry’s, and The Divisions and decided it wanted to incorporate that into its own game. The issue is that throwing everything and the kitchen sink into the game isn’t going to make it great. They have a decent frame for Breakpoint and the feel of it is fine, but when trying to navigate the world or even the menus gives you a headache, it may be time to take a step back and think on what you need to do to make it better. The only way to play this game is with co-op friends. Single player people should avoid this one. You will be bored and frustrated within two hours. Even with some friends the issues will become bothersome, but at least you’ll have someone to complain with.
