Sinister forces have deceived you to believe that your destructive behavior will save an epic hero. In reality, you’re working for evil. Take control of a dynamic tornado as you tear through open environments chewing up the landscape and spitting out everything in your path. The more you destroy, the bigger you grow as you work against time based, collection and point challenges in the search for hidden element and enemies from another world. Watch the debris fly as you leave a trail of destruction, as you battle bosses and defeat the forces of evil. The world is your playground, tear it up. [Konami] Expand

The combination of a cute story with straight-forward, extremely rewarding gameplay makes up for the low production values of certain game elements. And, with lots of hidden goodies to find in each stage and drop-in/out local two-player, Tornado Outbreak is ultimately worth the investment.

Tornado Outbreak is a fun, unique romp that will intrigue just about any gamer. The quirky story remains entertaining enough to keep you occupied, while the simplistic gameplay will keep you interested throughout its duration. The short campaign is probably my biggest concern, but with the ability to go back through older levels with your new powers is a definite bonus.

As a game experience, it is an interesting product which distinguishes itself from other better-selling videogames, but its main shortcoming is its short durability.

Instead of making an entire retail version of this game, it would have perhaps been better to bring out the game as an arcade title. However Tornado Outbreak did surprise us, and therefore it deserves a nice mark.
  5. It's cute enough, but this Katamari clone won't blow you away.

Uninteresting story and visuals. [Dec 2009, p.69]

Tornadoes suck, blow, annoy and upset. Tornado Outbreak nails all of that. [Jan 2010, p.74]

The plot is fun and the gamePlay even better. It is because I kind feel puzzle game to get all the fire spirits and it is very entertaining to get it all under the time limit and the game is just found the right amount of length.

The graphics looks good you can see that this is wii game that has been upscaled and the weirdest party is that there is fps doesn't work all the time so it's slow at some point. I don't know what that is about but the game looks pretty.

The best reason to play is because it feels like an original title and if you're in anyways looking for some of that then do it play it.
