Brute Force provides you with controls that are seemingly easy to just pick up and learn. They're responsive and YES they are a bit like Halo thanks to Bungie's help on the project.

The opening sequence screams "Saving Private Ryan" (or better yet "Medal of Honor") at you, as you're sitting next to several of your comrades on your way to storm a beach and capture some enemy bunkers.

Those of you who loved The Suffering probably won't enjoy this title quite as much. The scares and suspense have been replaced with nonstop action, and a story that just doesn't compare.

What will immediately stand out for you when playing this game is the humor. The game loves to make fun of other games in its genre and does so in a variety of different ways.

MM3 is a 100% arcade-style racer. The focus is on fun, and that's just what you get.

Jedi Academy is exactly what it claims to be at bare minimum; the latest installment of the Jedi Knight series; nothing more.

The unique ways to dispose of your enemies, along with the various abilities Rayne has, keeps you pushing forward, though each stage does seem to have its own area that you'll want to skip over.

The gameplay is surprisingly addictive and there's just the right amount of humor to remind you that this is, after all, a takeoff of just about every cheesy zombie flick ever made. The one thing I will say, however, is that the game was painfully short.

It’s a game no one who enjoys a good mafia theme should miss. With superb voice acting, a hell of a story and the ability to control an entire city, The Godfather is an experience you shouldn’t at least give a long rental.

One of the highlights of Area 51 is definitely the weapons. There’s a very good variety of weapons at your disposal, all of which are standard to most first-person shooters.

Serious Sam is a true mindless shooter. There is no story, no real idea of what you are accomplishing, and it is almost impossible to run out of ammo.

If a goaltender were to freeze the puck, probably 55% of the time the team protecting the goaltender will be faced with the ever popular glitch.

There were many enjoyable aspects, and each time I covered one, I found myself wanting to go back and experience it all over again, rather than sitting down to write about it. To me, that is the sign of a good game.

The character models won't win any awards, but the terrain and weapons alone make sure that you won't mistake the environment for the present. Buildings, tanks and embankments are all very well done. There is a noticeable downgrade, however, with the Gamecube version which was a surprise.
