It may be a simple game but working through Love's tricky stages is pretty fun. I just wish there were more of them to master.

Nice Slice is a goofy game through and through but its unique albeit simplistic gameplay still has some charm to it.

Although it looks and sounds great, Klondike Solitaire is still very basic and it lacks touchscreen support which is just silly.

Percy's Predicament Deluxe is a simplistic take on stage-based marble-rolling gameplay but it's very rough around the edges.

If Warplanes: WW2 Dogfight offered more original and enjoyable core gameplay, it would be a highly recommendable game. That being said, it does feature solid combat and its simulation component is an undeniably interesting complexity.

Mastering the incredibly tough stages in KYUB is a feat fit for a gaming wizard but thankfully, the journey can be fun for everyone.

The Price of Survival is by far the most impressive DLC pack yet as it features multiple challenging and visually interesting puzzles that are wrapped in a plot which actually integrates into the main story impressively well.

Having the ability to play a Commander Keen game on a modern console is fantastic. However, Keen Dreams is far from the best that the series has to offer so here's hoping that we get to enjoy the commander's other adventures soon.

Touhou Sky Arena: Matsuri Climax is one of the most unconventional fighting games that you'll ever play. If you have the patience to thoroughly learn its ins and outs then it can be quite a satisfying fighter. Otherwise, it'll make for a frustrating time.

Trine 2 is one of the greatest video games ever made and this Complete Story version is the best way to play it so far, especially with the Switch's portability. If you enjoy 2D puzzle platformers, you have to own this masterpiece.

Crackdown 3 is far from a bad game but it also isn't necessary in this day and age. That being said, if you want to feel nostalgic for sandbox games from a decade or so ago then it's definitely worth checking out.

If I had to summarize Astroneer in one word, it would be delightful. The gentle aesthetics of its world and the laidback gameplay go hand-in-hand to create a surprisingly addictive space survival game that'll have you crafting some genuinely rewarding contraptions.

Far Cry New Dawn is a refined but unexciting adventure. For those who have exhausted all the previous Far Cry games and are still craving more, New Dawn will scratch that itch but those hoping that it might advance the core gameplay are going to be disappointed.

Jump Force features a massive cast of characters but its gameplay is definitely flashier than deep which makes it eventually become incredibly monotonous and tough to enjoy. Hopefully, Arc System Works will make Bandai Namco's next crossover fighter.

Food Truck Tycoon is a simplistic restaurant management game that can be fun if you're looking to pass the time while waiting for a bus or something. However, it definitely won't keep you engaged for long with its basic gameplay and goofy presentation.

Considering #killallzombies released about 5 years ago, you'd expect it to have some sort of longevity to deserve a Switch port but instead, it's a by-the-numbers twin-stick roguelike that you'll probably forget about shortly after giving it a few tries.

If you're looking for a local multiplayer game to add to your collection then Stunt Kite Party is a fantastic competitive party game that'll keep a couch full of chums entertained. However, don't expect to play it solo because it's simply not as fun.

Agartha-S reminded me of the times I'd blindly rent a NES game as a kid then become pleasantly surprised upon playing it. It's truly a hidden gem for Switch and I highly recommend it whether you're into retro-style games or just looking to play something unique.

Although Necrosphere Deluxe features simplified yet challenging 2D platforming gameplay, it's a very short game that can be a bit too frustrating at times. On the plus side, the '80s synth soundtrack is absolutely fantastic.

Sphinx and the Cursed Mummy was a somewhat enjoyable adventure when it released for consoles back in 2003 but it's definitely a frustrating experience and modern gamers will likely get fed up with its tedious puzzles well before reaching its conclusion.

If Legrand Legacy was on the original PlayStation, it would have a small cult following but in this day and age, you'd expect much more originality from a retro-style RPG. It does a lot well but it also doesn't go above and beyond to provide a must-play experience.

Although Puzzle Bobble 2 is definitely a step up from the barebones original, it isn't much of an improvement. Obviously, that doesn't mean that it isn't fun because it surely is, especially if you have a local chum to enjoy it with.

God Eater 3's core gameplay is spot-on for exciting combat yet its missions are too one-note for it to remain engaging for more than a few hours. As a result, its campaign can feel like a chore and even playing online multiplayer ends up being all too samey.
