Evoland and its clever riff on gaming culture and history is perfect for long-time gamers while Evoland 2 is a fantastic RPG that belongs in the top echelon of indie games. However, this bundle is currently held back by bugs that will hopefully be ironed out soon.

There's a lot of good in Thea: The Awakening. Nearly every bit of text is voiced, it's cool being able to grow your group of people, handling combat head-on or simply selecting to auto-resolve is implemented well, and there's a great deal of customization. However, it's rather short with only a single primary objective and there's no substantial reason to replay it.

It may be a niche JRPG but Death end re;Quest is impressively innovative in both its storytelling and battle system. If you're even mildly curious about this kind of game, I highly recommend giving it a try.

Melbits World is the cutest game that I've ever played. Not only that, it's also impressively challenging and a fantastic co-op experience for up to 4 players. I highly recommend it for anyone who enjoys local multiplayer with friends.

8-Bit Invaders is a solid finale to a fantastic trilogy of accessible RTS games. It doesn't deviate much from the other 2 games but when the core gameplay is as fun and intuitive as it is, simply having more stages to master within a new theme is enough.

My Memory of Us is a beautiful game that recalls real world history through a child's eyes which in turn, makes it a more poignant tale.

If Animal Super Squad's gameplay was tightened up and it offered more of a challenge then it would be as fun as it is funny.

Flowlines Vs. is a solid puzzle game to chill out and play solo although its multiplayer mode doesn't feel particularly necessary.

It may come as a surprise but I can easily say that Steamroll is one of the most original and addictive games that I played in a long time.

Construction-based puzzlers don't get much better than When Ski Lifts Go Wrong. Its intuitive gameplay and huge variety of stages and gameplay mechanics make it a must-have game for any fan of the genre.

The Adventures of Elena Temple is a quick little puzzle platformer assembled within a single dungeon to explore. However, at just over an hour to 100% complete it, you'll be done with it quickly unless you create challenges for yourself or care about improving stats.

Dragon Marked for Death's action-packed gameplay is phenomenal and its missions are huge and rewarding to master. However, the lack of a dodge button and the fact that many missions are rage-inducing make it a tough game to thoroughly enjoy.

Those who enjoy quirky fun puzzle games will surely appreciate what City Builder has to offer. It may not be the most polished puzzler ever made but what's here is still a fantastic blend of Pipe Mania gameplay and city construction.

If you're a fan of competitive puzzlers then ACA NeoGeo: Puzzle Bobble is a fun albeit simplistic old-school entry in the genre. Because it's the first game in the series, don't expect to see many bells and whistles after giving it a download.

I can only recommend Sleepin' Deeply to those who absolutely loved the original and just can't get enough Suicide Guy. The lack of unique levels and their bloated size definitely makes it inferior to the first game.

Another classic Mario RPG has made its way to 3DS in this remake of Bowser's Inside Story. The updated graphics and enjoyable Bowser Jr.'s Journey wonderfully complement a title that was already packed full of fun gameplay variety and hilarious absurdity.

Playing Tales of Vesperia: Definitive Edition will bring back memories of simpler JRPGs that offered fun characters, engaging stories, and colourful worlds. Thankfully, the few issues that make it show its age don't take much away from its overall enjoyment.

The hallucination sequence and challenge tomb in The Nightmare give this pack the most character out of all the DLC so far. Unfortunately, it's still very short and lacks any meaningful combat scenarios or character development.

With an enjoyable medieval setting and intuitive real-time strategy gameplay, 8-Bit Hordes is an easy to recommend game for anyone with a fondness for the genre. Watching little soldiers and monsters beat the tar out of each other is just the icing on the cake.

It appears to be an adequate shooter but even skilled shoot 'em up veterans will find Mars: Chaos Menace to be a frustrating mess.

If you love pretentious indie games then you may enjoy Vane but those just looking to have fun will likely get irritated with it.

It's been years since it debuted but Mark of the Ninja is as much fun now as it's ever been so if you've never had the pleasure to play it then getting this new Remastered version is a good excuse to finally do so.

FutureGrind is a colourful and highly addictive vehicle-based platformer that'll thoroughly test your 2D gaming skills.

At Sundown is an innovative and enjoyable competitive shooter but it could definitely use more balancing and finer tuned online play.

Modern additions to the classic Resident Evil formula have made Resident Evil 2 an excellent remake although I am a little disappointed with how the 2nd Run campaigns are handled.

Shmup fans will enjoy Stellar Interface for its satisfying roguelike elements but its gameplay surely isn't the best example of the genre.

If you're looking for a satisfying overhead stage-based puzzle action game then Mad Age & This Guy is definitely worth checking out.

Old-school gaming fans will find a lot to love about Horizon Shift '81 as it feels like a long-lost static shooting arcade treasure.
