If there's one thing that Mega Man X Legacy Collection 2 provides above all else, it's variety. Not everyone will enjoy each featured title but there's no denying that these four games are unique and offer plenty of memorable challenges.

Even if you suffer from bone spurs, going to war as the kickass President Michael Wilson in Metal Wolf Chaos XD is supremely enjoyable. That being said, it can be rather unforgiving at times and some patience is required to learn its ins and outs.

Vertical Drop Heroes HD is a somewhat addictive yet short-lived roguelike adventure. If it wasn't for its awful AI and glitches then it would be a wholly worthwhile experience. Instead, you'll be better off just playing Rogue Legacy again.

For better and worse, Battle Princess Madelyn is an authentic retro experience. Its combat is simple yet unexciting and the lack of many features commonplace in modern games make it only appeal to those who long for the grueling games of long ago.

I loved playing its predecessor back in the day and now that Dokapon Kingdom Connect is here, I'm thrilled that modern audiences can appreciate its wacky party RPG antics. Who knew that combining those genres could be this much fun?

If you're as much of a Konami shoot 'em up fan as I am then you'll have an enjoyable time with Arcade Classics Anniversary Collection. However, don't expect a ton of options and refinement before diving into this retro gaming compilation.

Chocobo GP made me realise how great of a game Chocobo Racing is. The new graphics and online component are indeed cool but 1999's racer is simply more fun with its challenging gameplay, unique tracks, and tighter controls. In fact, I think I'll boot it up now.

This Secret of Mana remake is a solid new way to relive the classic although the original is clearly the better of the two options. Whether you enjoy it or not, here's hoping Square Enix announces a Seiken Densetsu 3 remake soon.

The Occupation is a classic example of a concept with great promise but poor execution. The massive amount of bugs that hamper progress and the lack of a proper stealth system constantly get in the way of being able to enjoy this admittedly unique experience.

Taito Milestones may simply contain 10 classic arcade titles and nothing else but some of these games offer timeless enjoyable challenges that you can spend hours trying to master. I just wish there was some kind of bonus content to scratch more of that retro itch.

Trailblazers is an enjoyable racer with a very cool colour mechanic and a stellar throwback presentation that's highly reminiscent of the Dreamcast era. Even though it has a few drawbacks, fans of arcade racing games should still check it out.

Warhammer: Chaosbane is a cool ARPG that would have been better if it wasn't a current gen game but unfortunately, we're not in 2005 anymore. For all of its flaws, the combat system is still well done yet the problem is that it feels like a bare minimum product. The fact that there are no optional missions and only a few bosses and different kinds of enemies makes it get repetitive very quickly.
