Team Sonic Racing is an exceptionally fun kart racer but it doesn't quite do enough to make itself great. Considering the team mechanic doesn't bring much new to the table, I wish we got Sonic & All-Stars Racing Transformed 2 instead.

Ghost 1.0 is an exciting action game with a robust Metroidvania world to explore. I wasn't terribly engaged by any of the characters or its storyline but it's still an easy recommendation for anyone looking for some fun 2D combat.

Legend of Mana is a beautiful game that anyone who appreciates creative gaming experiences will absolutely love. Those who prefer more structured adventures may be put off by it but there's no denying just how gorgeous of a game it is on nearly every level.

Two Point Hospital is a solid and thoroughly engaging simulation game that plays beautifully on console. If it steered more away from random difficulty and repetitive challenges and didn't have so many strange glitches, I'd say it's a must-play game.

Alwa's Legacy is a lighthearted Metroidvania that's hard to put down once you start playing it. With tight gameplay that features an impressive amount of variety, I certainly recommend picking it up if you love exploring 2D worlds.

After all is said and done, there's no denying that SoulCalibur VI's core gameplay is solid while offering some fresh mechanics. However, even though it's been years in the making, it feels like it could have used a couple more.

WitchSpring R is a delightful turn-based RPG with oodles of heart and humour and an enjoyable battle system to boot. It stumbles in a few areas and lacks balance but this sweet treat will still be a delicious addition to any RPG fan's library.

Class of Heroes 2G: Remaster Edition is definitely a step up from the first game and it's an RPG that dungeon crawling aficionados will adore. Even though some aspects aren't as ironed out as I hoped they would be, it's still one charming and rewarding journey.

As far as shoot 'em ups go, Miss Kobayashi's Dragon Maid: Burst Forth!! Choro-gon Breath is a high quality action-packed title that'll have you frantically shooting as you swap characters on the fly and unlock many rewarding collectibles. Definitely check it out.

Horizon Forbidden West: Burning Shores extends the tropical scenery of the main game and introduces the land of Hollywood to the story complete with a solid amount of content and upgrades which makes it a fine choice to lengthen your adventure with Aloy.

If video games taught me anything, it's that senseless violence is fun. Okay, perhaps that isn't true but it's definitely the case in Hotline Miami. I just wish that this collection featured some extras to justify its re-release.
