Frantics is a fantastic party game that controls impressively well using a mobile device. When you factor in the collection of 14 fully-realised mini-games, you're looking at a must-buy for those who love gaming with their chums.

Bringing Lightening Force back to kick off the Sega Ages series on Switch was an excellent idea as it highlights just how much fun you can have with Sega's retro catalog. Every old-school gamer needs to add this to their digital library.

If you've ever wanted to play the first 3 Seiken Densetsu games in a comprehensive compilation then Collection of Mana is definitely worth purchasing. Just don't expect many bells and whistles.

UnMetal is a hilarious spoof of the Metal Gear series that manages to forge its own identity through clever inventory-based puzzles. With that in mind, it's hard not to get frustrated whenever you bite the dust due to some unexpected shenanigans.

Chrono Cross: The Radical Dreamers Edition brought back a lot of lovely memories and thankfully, Chrono Cross is still a great RPG all of these years later. The fact that you get an officially translated Radical Dreamers is rather peachy, too.

Togges is a game that'll stay with me for a long time due to its uniqueness and cuteness; kind of like Wattam or Ribbit King and it's just as weird, too, but in the best sense of the word. If you like distinct gaming experiences as well then I whole-fartedly recommend it.

Super Bomberman R Online is a literal and figurative blast with its well-adapted gameplay formula as well as its wealth of characters and unlockables. It's a bit buggy in its current state, though, so I hope it gets patched; like... a lot.

Nickelodeon Kart Racers 2: Grand Prix is a wonderful racing game that kids as well as adults who grew up in the '90s will enjoy a great deal. The nostalgia factor is off the charts and more importantly, the racing gameplay is impressively fun stuff.

Onigo Hunter is certainly one of those retro-inspired RPGs that I'll gladly go back to whenever I want a quick fix of an old-school turn-based adventure. Its sense of exploration is superb and it even makes backtracking while completing quests a treat. Huzzah!

I thoroughly enjoyed my time with Ghost Sync and if you love retro RPGs, I'm sure you will, too. With its intriguing premise, appealing female lead, and clever monster-possessing mechanic; this is one lovely little game.

If the idea of a rewarding and delightful game of golf in a virtual reality world sounds appealing to you then you'll love your time with Everybody's Golf VR. I just wish that the courses allowed more than 1 person to play at a time.

There's a lot of frantic fun packed into GODBREAKERS, especially if you enjoy experimenting with playstyles and enemy abilities. It may be a little limiting of an experience but there's enough entertainment to be had that I still recommend it.

Simply put; Iron Crypticle is a blast to play and it's even more fun with friends. So, if the idea of an action-packed medieval-themed twin-stick shooter appeals to you then what are you waiting for? Give it a download and call up some pals.

Kart racer enthusiasts and cat fanciers alike owe it to themselves to pick up a copy of Meow Motors. It's an exhilarating and fun game even if it doesn't tick all the boxes of a typical AAA racing game.

Although it's relatively short, Amerzone - The Explorer's Legacy is an engaging adventure with an interesting story; making it worth the effort to power the Hydrafloat along the river and save a dying species.

Simply put, Super Hydorah is a must-buy game if you're a hardcore retro shoot 'em up fan. That being said, it certainly lacks wide appeal due to its insanely high difficulty so if you don't fit that description then it's sure to frustrate.

Touhou: New World is a lovely action RPG that will keep you entertained as you fight through charming levels that are filled with excellent music. It occasionally gets repetitive but what's here is still nothing short of delightful, especially if you're a Touhou fan.

Despite its flaws, there's still a lot of fun to be had with Chasm. Exploring and finding new secrets is satisfying but traversing the same areas multiple times is not. The combat is also a mixed bag as some enemies are enjoyable to fight and others are a chore.

There's a lot to like about Rad Rodgers as it's a well-made platforming shooter fueled by '90s nostalgia. It's a bit on the short side and the visuals were too distracting for me but I'd still recommend retro gaming fans to give it a shot.

Atari Flashback Classics Vol. 3 is the strongest volume so far for retro game enthusiasts who want to play some rarities and unreleased gems. At the same time, it's the weakest volume when it comes to having accessible fun.

Tell Me Why tells an engaging story of twins unraveling a mystery and forming a bond after being separated for most of their childhood. It's a more mature narrative set in a cozy Alaskan backdrop that could draw the attention of gamers who are interested in story-driven experiences yet may have been put off by all of the teen drama featured in previous Dontnod titles.
