Eternal Strands makes great promises as a semi-open world game with countless possibilities to win every challenge, centered on the huge and diverse bosses that roam the map. In some moments that are no less than amazing, it fulfills these promises and becomes a simply tremendous experience - but most of its playing hours are focused on being a basic RPG only, which is a shame that it does not use its full potential more.

Nine Sols is one of those games that once you get into, you'll probably have a hard time stopping, and the reasons are understandable - the high-quality combat system alone manages to keep you in the thick of things, the boss battles provide a challenge that is one of the most satisfying things you can give yourself, and the exploration experience feels great and also provides an impressive level of content and things for you to experience during your adventure.

Sonic X Shadow Generations experience can be summarized as follows: If you've never played Sonic Generations, this is undoubtedly a great opportunity to try it out, as it was and remains great even after the remastered version. As for Shadow Generations, while it's a definitely cute game that manages to renew and restore Shadow to its greatness, if you don't need the content provided with Sonic Generations, you won't necessarily find the investment in this game to be good and satisfying - and I'm sure Sega understood this when it decided to include it in another great and beloved game of the brand.

Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024 is a game with huge potential, using stunning advanced technology and stunning visuals. It aims to provide a one-to-one representation of Earth, complete with full virtual reality support. However, its launch has had technical issues like non-functioning servers, long loading times, crashes, and bugs. Despite this, the game's engaging career mode and breathtaking experiences when they work are a sight to behold. The game's performance problems and the need for more optimization, especially in virtual reality, can be a challenge. It's best to have a high-end PC, fast internet, and plenty of patience.

Lego Horizon Adventures is pure fun, heartwarming and light, but still gives room to some challenge for those who seek it. The voice acting is absolutely amazing and feels different from the origin, even with the original voice actors. The story is spiced with tons of humour, which made me actually LOL a few times. But its still a bit repetitive, and suits better for short-sessions after a long day. The Co-Op mode was a bit of a bummer since whoever pays Aloy will always be the "leader" and make other players teleport to their place instead of having an immersive gameplay for both players, even while being mid-fight.

The latest installment in the series suffers from several issues, most of which come from a sense of blandness and flat characters that fail to engage. At times, it feels as if the game is trying too hard to avoid offending anyone while still aiming to be universally liked, which makes it feel cautious rather than bold. Is this the game I was hoping for? Not really. Did I enjoy it? Absolutely. In a single sentence: It’s a good RPG, but it’s not a good Dragon Age game.

After a shaky few years for the beloved brand, I am happy to say that Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 returns this series to a fairly high place in the list of the best FPS games in the industry - the campaign is excellent, the multiplayer is full of action, and even that all the good things are wrapped up in COD HQ that makes the experience very difficult. Almost everything I would like to get from a remake is indeed present here, and even more: much better graphics, a very important fixes of the camera movement, a new soundtrack, a facelift for all the menus and even new scenes. The problem is, if you've already played the original game, the remake isn't worth your money, unless your memory is completely wiped and then the lack of replayability value isn't that critical. But if you haven't played the original - it's an excellent, exciting and scary game for fans of the horror genre and choice-based games. I want to believe that the developers are working on fixing things like the crashes and bugs of all kinds, because you can clearly see that a lot of love was put into this remake and there is no reason why they won't continue to improve it.

I had very high expectations for Ara: History Untold but they failed to materialize. The game has many very good qualities compared to other games with lots of years of experience in the genre, but at the end of the day it fails in one of the most important elements of 4X games and that is to give the player that 'one more turn' feeling that keeps you playing until the middle of the night. This is mainly due to unflexible and exhausting game systems and a very planned way of playing compared to the complete freedom and feeling of constant progress that you get from other games.

At the end, there is no pain like the feeling of finishing a game that you have invested dozens or hundreds of hours in and for a moment you are not sure how to continue. Hollowbody aims to pay tribute to early 2000s horror games but falls short of its goal. While it occasionally shines with well-crafted puzzles, it struggles to capture the essence of its inspirations. The outdated aesthetics and lackluster combat detract from the horror experience, and the disjointed story feels pieced together from various ideas. Despite these issues, Hollowbody has its moments, particularly in its engaging puzzles, which hint at its potential. However, the game's overall inconsistency may only appeal to die-hard fans of classic horror, leaving others wanting more. As it stands, "Hollowbody" feels like a project in need of a thorough remaster to realize its full potential and truly honor the genre it seeks to celebrate.

If you're looking for a Sci-Fi space RPG, this is the game for you to sink hundreds of hours on, even though its main plot is not interesting, its side content is more than enough, with engaging combat, addicting ship building system and more.

The Crew Motorfest is an excellent racing game, only hampered by its own big and empty open world. Unlike its rivals, the lack of missions and stuff to do in the open world really hold it back.

A fine story and the return of some old favorites can't mask what is a poorly coded, poorly optimized and poorly performs new area. They could have taken the time and effort to fix problems with this DLC, but instead they made some things worse.

This is a huge contender for GOTY for me. It's one of the best throwbacks to classic JRPGs I have seen in a long while. The first thing I did after finishing the game was pre-ordering the physical edition one. It's that good.

Being hip is cool again. Bomb Rush Cyberfunk trades its graphical fidelity and pixel counts for excellent gameplay loop and incredible music - all wrapped up in a neat and true Jet Set Radio spiritual successor.

Thunder Ray is a polished game - while it lasts. The absence of other game modes, including a scoring system, makes this a good, but extremely short experience.

In the past years we have seen a lot of great and ambitious attempts at the Beat-em-up genre. Double Dragon Gaiden: Rise of The Dragons is mostly a step backwards towards more traditional arcade ways, and it pays of in his unique, quite rough-like, take on the story - whileֲ the basic combat and non-existing other game modes making the game feels empty.

Baldur's Gate 3 is the pinnacle for RPG games that puts the "Role Play" back in Role Playing Games. Larian Studios sets a new industry standard that is beyond what we've seen in terms of gameplay, replayability, and graphics. The endless possibilities create the true feeling of an open world that doesn't lead you in a way and gives the player a way to explore the story in limitless opportunities.

2023 didn't really need a game that good. It was already a banger of a year for video games. But here we are, with Dave the Diver being one of the most fun, fulfilling, wholesome, and sometime downright beautiful games that came out this year.

Atlas Fallen might not be the best open world game of all time, but it's a fun experience and does a lot right, both mechanically and artistically-wise.

This is probably the best game in a criminally underrated series by Nintendo. Almost every gameplay element was handled with care, with very few mishaps. I know it really doesn't look like it, but Pikmin 4 is a game for hardcore gamers that are willing to dig deep to find one of the most fulfilling and exciting games out there.

While the game is still a classic and fun to play, the fact that players with HDD simply can't enjoy this game like the rest of their PC brethren, basically means that you either upgrade your PC, or won't enjoy this game.

Again we turn to the indie game devs in order to get a game that is this polished and satisfying to control. Gravity Circuit is really guilty of false advertising: It's way flashier and way more satisfying than what the store page description is telling you. Truly one of the best games of 2023.

Is it a good Sonic collection? Yes, very much - and the addition of the Game Gear games is just the icing on the cake. But still, the tactics that Sega employed with this game collection, plus the fact that it is still missing some fixes bugs me a lot.

The Last Spark Hunter managed to do something we didn't think was possible: It made us care for a DLC other than the one that has Rayman in it. What a great DLC, with great combat, great new characters and fun world to explore.

This was a big risk by Square Enix, but it paid off marvelously. The PS5 now has its Final Fantasy game, and although it doesn't really feel like a Final Fantasy game (mechanically), but it is an excellent game in its own right, with amazing graphics, incredible gameplay in what is possibly the OST of the year. I am so happy that this is my 300th review.

Diablo IV is not just a great game by Blizzard. The company sorely needed that win - that one game that might drag it out of the mud, and Diablo IV with its great story, atmosphere, sound and world - may be the one to do it.
