Mina The Hollower provides a great experience - it's fun, it's excellently designed most of the time, and it's very rewarding in terms of the combat system and the exploration experience, but each of these truly good elements also has a negative point, whether it's the level of difficulty and the reliance on Soulslike systems that sometimes feel simply unrelated to this game, or if we're looking directly at the design of some of the game's areas.

The new Bond isn't just an excellent game; it’s the best James Bond game yet (yes, I said it), and it genuinely feels like it could be its own movie. The superb story, refreshing new mechanics, and highly authentic characters deliver a visually stunning, smooth PC experience. LEGO Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight is like an obsessive fan who wants to convince you that Batman is the best thing in the world. Forza Horizon 6 is the best open-world racing game ever made, and it isn't particularly close. Playground Games took a twelve-year formula into the most demanding setting it has occupied, delivered an individualized physics model across 550+ cars that redefines what accessible driving simulation can feel like, and built a fictionalized Japan whose scale and visual fidelity earn every superlative being attached to them.

Meetup at Bellabel is a fantastic expansion to an otherwise fantastic game, the problems present tehmselves when some of the content is unavailable at all if you don't have friends to play co-op levels with or worse, have only one Switch console to play with.

Saros is a worthy and very respectable spiritual sequel to Returnal, and even though it may feel too easy at times or tiresome in terms of its main plot, as a whole it is simply an excellent, fun and addictive Roguelite action game, in the best sense of the term.

Pragmata is one of the most special games I've got to play in a long time, with one of the most unique gameplay mechanics I've had the pleasure of experiencing, and I'm glad Capcom is in such a good state to allow this type of games to be produced, I only hope it will do well to allow more experiments like this.

Super Meat Boy 3D is an excellent game - it does a lot of things right when it comes to its platforming experience, and while there are times when it can feel stifled and a little less comfortable due to the transition to 3D, the vast majority of the time we have a quality platformer here.

Crimson Desert is one of the most rewarding open-world games I’ve played in years, but it absolutely makes you work for that payoff. Its opening hours are rough, the story never fully comes together, and the UI, inventory management, and control scheme can be frustratingly clunky. Still, once the world opens up, the game becomes something special. Exploration feels meaningful, not like filler, and the best rewards often come from curiosity, detours, and preparation rather than simply following the main quest. Combat is flashy, deep, and incredibly satisfying against groups of enemies, even if some boss fights lean too hard into frustration. This is basically Pearl Abyss making a single-player Black Desert: mechanically rich, often messy, and far more interested in systems, movement, and discovery than in telling a compelling story. If you value exploration over narrative and can push through a bumpy start, Crimson Desert is an easy recommendation.

Monster Hunter Stories 3: Twisted Reflection is the best JRPG i played this year and it will probably stay that way. I can't wait to jump back in to its addicting gameplay mechanics and gorgeous anime visuals.

Pokemon Pokopia is one if not THE best pokemon spin-off game ever made - with excellent story, tons of stuff to do, beautifully rendered and colored and an addicting gameplau loop to keep you coming for more.

Fatal Frame 2 Crimson Butterfly is a fantastic remake, although it suffers from some jank like late tutorials and a bit dated combat system, it is one of the most captivating Japanese horror stories ever and it deserved a good remake, so more people can finally experience the horror of the crimson ritual.

Eternal Afternoon is not an ordinary game. It is a game that combines a lot of different elements that come together to create a very different experience that will enchant many players, as well as cause a significant portion of them to skip the game altogether - and this is where its uniqueness lies.

Escape From Ever After is a brisk, 16-hour Paper Mario–style RPG that the reviewer feels surpasses its inspiration through sharp, genuinely funny writing and excellent balance between combat, puzzles, and platforming. Despite a few rough edges in timing-based inputs and platforming precision, its fast pacing, forgiving difficulty, and energetic, saxophone-driven soundtrack make it a standout, must-play entry in the genre.

Tales of Xillia is something of a classic, a game that for a long time wasn’t available on modern systems. To truly play it, you either needed access to a fairly old console or had to rely on less official methods. A remaster is an excellent solution for players who don’t want to purchase outdated hardware just to enjoy a single game. This remaster is done quite well, and even though some aspects of the game haven’t aged particularly gracefully, it’s still well worth the time for many players today.

Big Hops is the palete cleanser you need going into 2026 - with immpressive platforming inspired by Mario, a Veggie system that rewards creative thinking and adorable graphics and humor - This is the game you should kick off the year with.

Metroid Prime 4: Beyond isn't the best Metroid game around, it has a lot of issues, mostly coming from weird design choices that impact badly on the whole expereicne, but where these choices don't exist? It's a treat.
